The new Beauty and the Beast is a completely different, er, beast than the 1991 original. There are darker twists in the story, the live action makes the Beast into kind of a hottie, and the soundtrack is all redone. That said, it's still the same tale as old as time, and there are a lot of shot-for-shot re-creations in the film.
