On Saturday, April 22, meteorologist James Spann shared a photo of a tree burning from the inside following a severe thunderstorm that passed through northeast Mississippi. "This tree was hit by lightning in Baldwyn, MS. It burned the inside," Spann wrote. But his words weren't enough to convince people on the internet that the fire was not caused by something supernatural.
