The real test of whether a Target collaboration is a major success is if pieces from the collection instantly end up on eBay. We've seen this happen before with the Lilly Pulitzer for Target collection, and now Victoria Beckham's pieces for the retailer are selling for up to four times the original price.
VB's collection, which ranges from $6 to $70, caused a major frenzy this past weekend with many items instantly selling out. While some customers were just genuinely excited to buy one of VB's designs at a much lower price point, others immediately put their purchases up for sale on eBay. The designer tweeted about her gratitude for her fans and apologized for any frustrating glitches the Target site might have suffered.
