The Starbucks Dragon Frappuccino Is Here to Kick Some Unicorn Ass
It seems that between having emotional breakdowns and keeping up with intense, Instagram-fueled demand for the sought-after Unicorn Frappuccino, Starbucks baristas had time to invent a new drink: the Dragon Frappuccino. Not to play favorites or anything, but this frozen dessert drink sounds way tastier than its unicorn counterpart. (Plus, if Daenerys Targaryen were a Starbucks drink, she'd totally be this one!)
Offered by several stores upon running out of unicorn-inspired ingredients, the Dragon Frappuccino is possible to make without limited-time ingredients, as HelloGiggles noted. According to one satisfied customer on Instagram, the drink is "a green tea frap with vanilla bean powder and some berry cup swirl," lending the drink a green-and-purple-swirled appearance. Another customer reported that her drink was topped with some of the limited-edition mango sprinkles leftover from the Unicorn Frappuccino madness.
Overall, the internet consensus of the Dragon Frappuccino is that it's a less sweet, less taste-bud-confusing alternative to the trendy unicorn drink, and if we do say so ourselves, the fact that it includes some caffeine is a major bonus. (Starbucks is a coffee joint, after all!)
