The Twist After an Act of Kindness Between 2 Kids Left Both Parents Speechless
After a stranger showed incredible kindness to his son, Brian Beidman wanted to thank the child and her mom in a big way. He wrote a public message to the girl in section 201, row 13, seat 8 at the Philadelphia Flyer's game, hoping the post would make its way to the kid. However, when the stranger's mom responded, he never expected to learn that this interaction was a bigger deal for her than it was for him.
Brian explained in his original post that his son really wanted one of the t-shirts and when they threw it to the crowd, it landed in the row right in front of him. The little girl caught it, turned around, handed it to Deacon, and his son couldn't help but blush as he thanked her. "Your daughter made Deacon's night. Thank you so much," he wrote. "Your daughter was amazing and it shows what a great parenting job you are doing as well!"

When Jeannie saw what Brian wrote to her and her daughter, she wrote a response that took this sweet story to a sob-inducing level and shared her unexpected response on Frank Somerville's Facebook page:
My daughter is autistic and has seizures.
She struggles with crowds and we buy seats based on luck, and if I can come up with the money. She LOVES the Flyers so we try to go often, but if the crowd around us isn't "autism friendly" we leave by the end of second period.
Maymay was enjoying the conversation you and your son were having about the game and hockey.
She was willing to stay until the end of the game!
Huge accomplishment.I had no clue she was going to give him the shirt.
She was excited to get the shirt, so it was a surprise for her to give it to your son.She told me that it made her heart feel good to make him smile.
That is HUGE for us!
