This L'Oreal Ambassador Wore an Engagement Dress as Special as Any Wedding Gown
Destination weddings aren't always possible, so why not have a destination engagement photoshoot? L'Oreal ambassador Carly Cristman and fiance Cody Carson did exactly that, so they could still share "that special experience together." In just a few snapshots, we're given a glimpse into this future bride's special day. Carly wore a one-of-a-kind runway gown by Alvina Velenta as she and Cody posed in iconic Parisian locations like the Louvre and on the steps of Trocadero. The fitted gown flared into a short mermaid train, while the back featured crisscross straps to show off Carly's back. Delicate lace cap sleeves sat gently on her shoulders.
The dreamy dress, Carly revealed, came to her almost serendipitously. "One of the saleswomen walked past carrying my now engagement dress and when I saw it on the hanger I had to try it on. When I asked to see it, she informed me that was a one of a kind straight off the runway dress. She told me the dress only came in one size- if it was too small or too short there were no other options. I tried it on and it fit perfectly! It was meant to be!" she said.
