This Reporter's Viral Reaction to Sean Spicer's Latest Screw-up Has Us Saying "Same"
The latest addition to Sean Spicer's laundry list of gaffes sure was a doozy, and no one more accurately summed up our feelings than the reporters who were present at his press briefing. On April 11, the press secretary revealed his lack of historical knowledge when he compared Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to German dictator Adolf Hitler. Spicer tried to explain how Hitler (the man behind the mass killing of more than 6 million people in the Holocaust) was not "as bad" as al-Assad, who recently used chemical weapons on Syrian civilians. Cue the facepalm.
As soon as Spicer uttered this bizarre comparison, the crowd of reporters in the room displayed the most candid expressions of shock, but the most notable of these came from the Washington Post's Ashley Parker. Her reaction was captured in a glorious GIF that has gone viral on Twitter because, well, just watch it for yourself.

Parker's facial expressions can only be compared to a roller coaster: one second she looks utterly confused, the next she's shocked, and the next she's in disbelief. Her eyebrows do wonders in truly conveying what was going through her head during those moments (which were probably a mashup of "WTF?" and "Is this guy serious?")
The rest of the internet seems to agree, and some people even think its about to replace that viral "blinking guy" meme.
