This Student's Note Proves Just How Important Teachers Are to Their Kids

As a teacher, Mr. J is used to discovering left-behind notes and messages scribbled on desks. But when he walked into his classroom he found a letter written to him and the student's message left him fighting back tears.

In addition to thanking him for being an awesome teacher, Markus explained that the Mr. J is the reason that he enjoyed this school year and it's not just because of his teaching abilities. "I wish more teachers was like you. I will never forget you. I look at you like my dad," he wrote. "I never met my real dad but it's OK because you treat me like I'm your son."

Markus also thanked Mr. J for feeding him whenever he's hungry, hugging him whenever he's sad, and making him so happy each day. "I will never forget you Mr. J," he wrote. "I love you and I will never forget about you."
