1 Teen's Side-by-Side First-Day-of-School Photos With His Dad Are Every Parent's Dream

A Mississippi State-bound teenager, Charles Brockman III, melted the hearts of social media users everywhere when he posted two side-by-side "first day of school" photos with his dad on Twitter.

The future collegiate track runner posted two pictures: the first was Brockman's first day of kindergarten and the second showed a shot of the pair walking down a hallway on college move-in day. He included the caption: "From the first day of kindergarten to college move in. Thank you, dad."

The post, which has amassed nearly 70,000 retweets and over 281,000 "likes" since it was uploaded on Aug. 13, demonstrated how grateful the teen is for his parents.

"I just wanted to post that picture to thank my dad for always being there during everything we went through," Brockman said in an interview with People. "He and my mom are really special to me."

It's safe to say the Twittersphere totally blew up at the adorable tweet, and people are showing all types of support for the father-son duo, even going so far as to compliment the dad on rocking the same hairdo for so long:

No matter how you slice it, there's no denying that photo is pretty damn sweet.
