"Donald Trump Jr." Calls the Russia Email Controversy a "Nothing Burger" on SNL
Though it already feels like so long ago, it was only in early July that Donald Trump Jr. released emails in which he talked about meeting with a Russian lawyer to receive incriminating information on Hillary Clinton. And while you might've forgotten all about it, the folks at Saturday Night Live did not.
In a clip for Weekend Update: Summer Edition on Aug. 10, both Eric and Donald Trump Jr., played by Alex Moffat and Mikey Day respectively, came on to talk to Colin Jost about the president's successes and Trump Jr.'s own email scandal. In the hilarious bit, Eric calls Trump Jr.'s subpoena "some peanuts" and ends up playing with a fidget spinner as his brother tries to pretend his emails aren't a big deal.
