Nars Takes a Dark Turn (Literally) With Its Fall Collection
One of our favorite things about Fall is getting to bust our tried-and-true leather jacket out of storage. So luckily for us, Nars just released a rocker-chic collection that is made to match said old faithful jacket, broken-in Converse, and ripped jeans.
The line of six products includes three Kohliners, two eye shadows, and one blush. Cue (on-brand Rolling Stones or The Strokes) record scratch: yup, there's only one blush in this collection.
Considering that Nars' rouge-game is renowned far and wide, this news may seem strange. But we're anything from disappointed, because the showstopping, metallic raspberry-mauve shade "Blissful" is like the line's mic drop. It's all we need.
Besides, like any badass rocker chic, we all know the VIP grunge look is all about the eyes. The liners come in two shades of metallic bronze and one blue that's more electric than an amplified guitar. But this isn't your standard, seen-it-before, smoky-eye fare. The powders' metallic finish lightens up its dark color for a funky, nontraditional look.
