Rachel Lindsay Claps Back at Bachelorette Fans Who Think She's "Settling" For Bryan
Fans of The Bachelorette were mad as hell after Rachel Lindsay chose Bryan as her new man during the show's finale on Monday night. Dedicated viewers thought it seemed pretty clear that she had fallen in love with the other final contestant, Peter, but was turned off by his not wanting to propose after only two months of knowing each other. Bryan, however, got down on one knee and presented the 32-year-old attorney with a $100K Neil Lane diamond ring.
The couple promptly began their engagement press tour in NYC on Tuesday, which included a stop at Live With Kelly and Ryan. Rachel and Bryan put their love on display, holding hands throughout their interview with Ryan Seacrest and guest host Rita Ora. At one point, Ryan read the couple a comment from one such mad-as-hell Bachelorette fan who accused Rachel of only choosing Bryan over Peter because "he was willing to give her a ring." Rachel clapped back, explaining that she has "never been one to settle" and defended her love for Bryan on the show. Watch the interview above, then see where these other Bachelor couples are now.
