Stephen Colbert Calls Out Trump's Obsession With Obama Because, Well, It's True
On Friday, Stephen Colbert called out the fact that Trump appears to have an obsession with former president Barack Obama. This past week, Trump retweeted the results of an online poll from a pro-Trump Twitter account, which asked whether Trump or Obama is the better president.
"One thing that does not make Trump happy is that there ever was a man named Barack Obama," Colbert said during the opening segment of his late-night show. Colbert cited two articles where European diplomats agreed Trump's "only real position" is to oppose anything Obama was in favor of.
Of course, Colbert didn't pass up the opportunity to make a joke out if it. The host channeled his best impression of Trump and imagined what the POTUS would do if he found out what Obama ordered for dinner at the G20 summit. Watch the video above to see the hilarity unfold, then see what happened when Colbert polled his audience on Trump's presidency thus far.
