To This Day, Selena's "Dreaming of You" Album Is the Bestselling Latin Album Ever
Selena's album Dreaming of You is a collection of songs that, 22 years later, still touches all of our hearts. Her fifth and final studio album was released after her untimely death on July 18, 1995, and became the fastest-selling album in the United States in 1995. The Recording Industry Association of America certified the album 35 times platinum in the Latin field. To this day, Dreaming of You is the bestselling Latin album of all-time in the United States. This album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, making Selena the first Latin artist to do so. It featured a total of 13 tracks, and some of them were her most popular hits like "I Could Fall in Love," "Dreaming of You," "Amor Prohibido," "Como La Flor" and "Bidi Bidi Bom Bom." "Dreaming of You" became Selena's highest-charting Billboard Hot 100 single ever.
