Yes, Disney Channel's Bug Juice Is Returning and Now We Feel Old AF
In case you needed yet another reminder that you're an old millennial, Disney Channel's latest reboot news should do the trick. According to Deadline, the network has plans to return to Camp Waziyatah for "a new version" of Bug Juice. The beloved reality series debuted in 1998 and aired for three seasons before ending its run in 2001.
The upcoming reboot, which has already started production in Waterford, ME, will "capture the authentic adventures of a group of kids age 10-12 as they head to summer camp, join in exciting and challenging outdoor activities, establish tight bonds with bunkmates and create unforgettable memories," according to the network. Talk about nostalgia!
Bug Juice is set to return in early 2018, but until then we'll be over here digging up old episodes of the original on YouTube to reminisce about the golden days of our youth.
