Luz Clarita Is All Grown Up - and Looks Nothing Like She Did in 1996

We all have to admit that at one point or another, our hearts hurt every time we thought about Luz Clarita and her journey to find her mother. She was a little girl with a heart of gold and didn't have a bad bone in her body. Every time we think about one of our favorite childhood telenovelas, we wonder what ever happened to the actress who played her, Daniela Luján.

The 29-year-old was just 7 years old when she took on the role that would catapult her into stardom. We got to see her for a few more years after the end of Luz Clarita in other telenovelas like El Diario de Daniela and Complices al Rescate. But the next time we really heard from her was when she voiced DJ Suki in the Latin American version of Trolls.

Daniela has continued to work in television and tried dipping her feet in film, theater, and even music. She has released three albums in her career, which makes total sense considering she actually sang parts of the theme song for Luz Clarita. Her heart is still in acting, or at least that's what we get from her Instagram bio.

One thing that has changed: her look. Daniela is rocking red hair now and looks stunning. No matter how much she keeps growing up, Daniela will always be Luz Clarita in our hearts.
