1 Mom's "Rant" About Moms Who Love Fall Will Make You Spit Out Your Pumpkin Spice Latte
If you spent the weekend sipping a pumpkin spice beverage while taking selfies with your kids at a pumpkin patch, Meredith Masony is coming for you.
The mom blogger behind That's Inappropriate went on a self-proclaimed "rant" about all those moms among us loving the Fall season. "I need to talk to all of my Facebook friends who are posting about their delightful fall weather," she began. "Shut up. I don't want to hear about your crisp, delightful, apple-picking, cider-sipping weather."
The reason isn't because she hates Fall, per se. She just hates that her Fall in the Southern end of the country isn't quite the norm. "It is like 157 degrees here in Florida," she said. She continued:
My kids are asking me, "Um, can I be Chewbacca for Halloween?" No, son, you can't. You will have a heat stroke, and I will have to carry you the rest of the way collecting your candy for you, giving you electrolyte replacement because it's going to be 110 degrees on Halloween. No, you cannot be Chewbacca, son. Think.
Because there will "probably never be Fall weather for us," she implores the rest of us to stop posting any photos that include scarves, well-fitting jeans, and "crafty outdoor activities."
Fine, Meredith. But when the temperatures are below freezing for the rest of us in January, and you're snapping pics of your well-pedicured feet digging into the Florida sand, we'll have a rant of our own just for you.
