Just Try Not to Cry When You Watch Sufjan Stevens's Tender Performance at the Oscars

There are some pretty spectacular films and actors being honored at the 2018 Academy Awards, and we certainly can't ignore the amazing music. Sufjan Stevens's song "Mystery of Love" in Call Me by Your Name was nominated for best original song, and when he performed it live on stage, we're pretty sure there wasn't a dry eye in the building.
Sufjan performed alongside St. Vincent, Moses Sumney, Chris Thile of Nickel Creek/Punch Brothers, Casey Foubert, and James McAlister. It was understated, vulnerable, and oh so tender - definitely a perfect representation of the spirit of Call Me by Your Name.
The funny part is, Sufjan admitted recently that he had never watched the Oscars before. "I'm just so proud of the film and I'm honored to be affiliated with a director who is so masterful and astute," he told Vanity Fair.
Well, even if it was his first time brushing shoulders with the Academy Awards, he certainly made it seem like he was a veteran.
