Melissa McCarthy Is Scary Good in the First Trailer For Can You Ever Forgive Me?
If you love Melissa McCarthy for her comedy chops, wait until you see her full range. In Can You Ever Forgive Me?, McCarthy stars as Lee Israel, a real-life magazine writer whose life took a turn when she began forging and selling letters that she said had been written by deceased writers. Israel pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to transport stolen property in 1993 and wrote a memoir about her life, which inspired the upcoming biopic.
