5 Trends We Learned From Lara Jean in To All the Boys I've Loved Before
Lara Jean Covey, the main character of Netflix's To All the Boys I've Loved Before, has a wickedly underrated sense of style. Played by Lana Condor, her clothes are incredibly trendy in their old-school nature and beautifully colorful in a subtle way. Lara Jean's style is fashion-forward and nostalgic, all at the same time. The result of this winning combo is a lovable character who wears lovable clothes.
The film's costume designer, Rafaella Rabinovich, is the genius behind Lara Jean's outfitting. In an interview with IndieWire, Rabinovich shared some of the inspiration behind her clothes: "With Lara Jean specifically, I was really attracted to the pastels and the vintage washes of color. And I really tried to find her in the texture of the silhouettes that are romantic but at the same time like effortless and vintage and cool."
Basically, Rabinovich made Lara Jean into a trendy vintage goddess, using especially unique pieces throughout the movie that deserve attention. Here are five stylish trends we can learn from Lara Jean.
