Dua Lipa's Blonde Alter Ego Is Called Electra - and She Was "Back but Better" at the AMAs
Dua Lipa is back to blond . . . well, for now at least. The 23-year-old singer previously transformed her hair into a platinum bob - a stark contrast from her usual sleek brown hair - for the music video for her single with Silk City, "Electricity." Lipa ended up debuting a vibrant version of the look to perform the song, as well as "One Kiss," during the 2018 American Music Awards.
"Excited for tomorrow as we're bringing electricity back but better," she wrote on Instagram the day of the award show. "We'll just call her electra." Though she wore her natural hair on the red carpet, Lipa slipped on an ombré platinum wig with turquoise ends for her performance. It was an electrifying wig, indeed!
