A List of Luxury Brands That Have Banned Fur (So Far)

Victoria Beckham recently made headlines after announcing that the fashion house would no longer use furs or exotic skins in their designs. According to the company's press release, the brand has "been looking to action the use of more ethically sourced products that have less environmental impact for some time." Thankfully, Victoria isn't the only designer to take a stand. In December of 2017, Michael Kors also announced that the fashion house would no longer use animal fur in any of its products. It follows in the footsteps of other luxury retailers who have gone fur-free, like Gucci. More and more brands are opting to adhere to ethical guidelines when it comes to sourcing products, and that's something we can all stand behind. Read on to see which major fashion houses have banned the use of fur, as we hope this list continues to grow in 2019.
