Be Still, My Heart: Starbucks Is Bringing Back the Cherry Mocha For Valentine's Day
Love is officially in the air at Starbucks! After kicking off Valentine's Day last year with the release of its Cherry Mocha drink, Starbucks has announced that the chocolate- and cherry-flavored beverage will return to the menu for a second time, alongside a handful of other festive treats. The drink is a blend of a sweet mocha sauce and candied cherry syrup with hot espresso and the steamed milk of your choice. It's all topped off with whipped cream and a dusting of sugar and cocoa valentine sprinkles. Anyone hoping to skip the flowers and candy this year can head over to Starbucks to purchase a hot, iced, or blended Cherry Mocha from now until Feb. 14.
To get even more into the spirit of the romantic holiday, customers can also snag themselves a few Valentine's Day-themed bakery items that are also currently available at Starbucks locations nationwide. The items include a Chocolate Cake Pop coated with milk chocolate icing and heart candy sprinkles and a heart-shaped sugar cookie topped with white chocolate icing and colored sprinkles.
