The Emotional Reason Alyson Stoner Shaved Off All Her Hair
A drastic hair change often signifies a life-altering moment. For Alyson Stoner, her new buzz cut was a way of leaving her uncertainties behind. In her new music video for the song "Stripped Bare," the multitalented artist is shown cutting off pieces of her medium-length hair before ultimately taking hair clippers and shaving it off.
But there was a deeper meaning behind the hairstyle. "Shaving my head is an act of mental health and confidence, not self-destruction," Stoner told People in a recent interview. "I can't tell you how many beliefs and opinions and insecurities fell to the floor with every tuft of hair, and I'm leaving them there." See her new music video ahead.
