The upcoming teen drama Five Feet Apart feels like a fresh take on a genre we've seen lots of before: teenagers falling in love amid difficult or even tragic circumstances that threaten to tear them apart or keep them from ever coming together in the first case. In this case, they're both cystic fibrosis patients whose ability to get close is limited - literally: they can't get within six feet of each other. Five Feet Apart arrives in theaters on March 15, but in the meantime, if you're looking for an emotional teen movie with a hint (or more) of angst and impossible odds, check out one of these eight movies.
