Janelle Monáe Was Literally Starry Eyed at the Kids' Choice Awards
It's hard not to "ooh" and "ahh" whenever Janelle Monáe hits a red (or in this case, orange) carpet or an event with her consistently striking, bold beauty looks. (May we remind you of her electric-blue cat eye at Paris Fashion Week or her iconic updo adorned in craft store googly eyes?) This time was no different.
Monáe showed up at the Kids' Choice Awards with metallic green eyeliner that tapered into a stark black cat eye, along with green mascara slicked across her lashes. Below her left eye were two stamped-on black stars. When worn alone, each element of her makeup was standout enough. Together, they created a fun, interstellar look that's easy to DIY.
