Julia Louis-Dreyfus Looks Happy and Healthy Following Her Battle With Breast Cancer

Julia Louis-Dreyfus is glowing after completing treatment for breast cancer. On Tuesday, the 58-year-old Veep actress stopped by Good Morning America and opened up about how the support from her family, friends, and fans helped her get through the tough experience. "I reached a lot of people. I was able to raise a lot of money for women who have had mastectomies, who need reconstruction but insurance doesn't cover that, and I was really happy to be able to do that. The outpouring of support was quite overwhelming," Julia said. "It helped me get through chemotherapy in a big way."
Julia first went public with her cancer diagnosis in September 2017, and she's used her personal experience to speak out about the importance of affordable and accessible healthcare. "Healthcare should be for all - I believed it before, but now I really believe it," Julia stated during an October 2018 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Veep also stalled production while Julia sought treatment, but now she is back and "ready to rock!" Catch the final season of Veep when it premieres on March 31 on HBO.
