In 2017, Katy Perry went from her signature jet-black hair to a platinum pixie. The drastic change astonished many of her fans, who primarily knew her as a raven-haired performer (who occasionally experimented with bright colorful hues), when in reality, she had been coloring her hair darker for years. Thanks to the throwback photos Perry has shared on Instagram, it's clear that her natural color is a sandy blond.
