Burger King Is Testing Meatless Whoppers - and No, This Isn't an April Fools' Joke

Vegetarians, get ready to do a happy dance, because Burger King is testing out a meat-free version of its famed Whopper sandwich! On April 1, the fast food chain began rolling out a limited supply of its new Impossible Whopper, which thankfully isn't a cruel April Fools' Day joke. The vegetarian-approved menu addition stars a beefless, plant-based patty from the brand behind the Impossible Burger, along with the usual Whopper fixings, including lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, ketchup, mayo, and a sesame seed bun.
The Impossible Whopper is currently only available at 59 select Burger King locations is St. Louis (those lucky Missourians!). Our fingers are certainly crossed for these to roll out nationwide so we can give 'em a try for ourselves soon!
