Daddy Yankee and Pitbull Team Up on No Lo Trates, Sampling a Classic Reggaeton Song
The hottest reggaeton artists are coming together to remake a classic song, and we're pretty sure it'll be the hit of the Summer.
Pitbull, Daddy Yankee, and Natti Natasha released "No Lo Trates" today and brought an upbeat twist to a sample of "Rica y Apretadita" by Panamanian rapper Edgardo A. "El General" Franco. Daddy Yankee teased the collaboration the day before on Instagram and it immediately got 35,000 views on YouTube.
It's not the first time "Mr. Worldwide" has remixed a traditional song. Last year, he teamed up with Karol G and the "Dame Tu Cosita" creator El Chombo himself to add some verses to the popular '90s dance song. With these two collaborating, we're excited to see this single rise through the charts and get us ready for the warm weather.
