Is That the Emerald City?! Nope, It's Just Ciara on the Met Gala Red Carpet
The theme of the 2019 Met Gala is "Camp: Notes on Fashion," and boy, did the celebs in attendance deliver! Among the most unforgettable looks of the night was Ciara's; she strutted the red carpet in an outfit that had onlookers green with envy. The singer rocked an emerald-green gown, embellished with tons of shimmery detailing, a thigh-high slit, and geometric cutouts on the torso. Heightening the drama factor even further, Ciara's gown featured a train made of matching green feathers, and she added a matching choker and fingerless gloves, plus a sky-high Afro.
The green gown was actually Ciara's second look of the night. When she first arrived, she rocked a more low-key but equally glam black pantsuit, twerking on the red carpet with Big Freedia before heading off to change into her showstopping dress for the main event.
