As soon as I discovered barre classes, I knew they were for me. I took ballet throughout my childhood, and as an adult, I love that the micro-movements in barre are low-impact, while still helping to firm and tone your muscles. These workouts also seamlessly blend aspects of yoga, Pilates, and ballet, which helps keep my workout routine from growing stale. And I always work up a sweat.
