Whoa! Deepika Padukone Served Up a Major Fashion Moment at Cannes, and the World Was Not Ready For This
Move over, Priyanka Chopra: there's another Bollywood actress here to make a splash at the Cannes Film Festival. Deepika Padukone just had another major fashion moment while walking the festival's red carpet, and I'm pretty sure no one was ready for this. The stunning actress, who has slowly been making her way into Hollywood (she even snagged her first American Vogue cover alongside Scarlett Johansson and Doona Bae this year!) has been showing off something I have known for years now: she has impeccable style.
After attending the Met Gala this year wearing a metallic pink Zac Posen gown, Deepika opted for another voluminous gown by Dundas. The actress, who is at the festival in partnership with L'Oreal, wore a cream bold-shouldered gown that came with a giant black bow across the front. As if that wasn't eye-catching enough, her gown also featured a thigh-high slit and a train that seemed to go on for miles. Now, that's how you make an entrance! She completed her red carpet look with strappy black Aquazzura heels, Lorraine Schwartz jewels, and tied her hair in a high ponytail. Her look was so stunning, even her husband, actor Ranveer Singh, couldn't help himself from posting multiple steamy comments on her Instagram photos.
