Yum! Trader Joe's Sauce- and Mozzarella-Stuffed Gnocchi Are Basically Mini Pizza Pockets
If you can't decide between pizza or pasta for dinner, Trader Joe's Outside-In Gnocchi might be the solution to your dilemma. Available in the frozen section, this take on an old Italian favorite is stuffed with gooey mozzarella and just the right amount of tomato sauce in every bite. Just drizzle some olive oil on top and add a sprinkle of parmesan, and dinner is served!
Trader Joe's has taken the liberty of stuffing the gnocchi itself so you don't have to bother making your own sauce or having fresh mozzarella cheese to pair it with - there's no prep time required.
As for what it's made of? Potatoes and unbleached wheat flour make up the dough, and the filling consists of mozzarella cheese, crushed tomatoes, onions, and a mixture of spices like basil and garlic. Each one-pound bag of Outside-In Gnocchi is available for $3 and can easily be prepared on the stove or in the microwave. Since Trader Joe's Cauliflower Gnocchi was such a low-carb hit, we expect the new Outside-In Gnocchi to gnoc our socks off, too.
