2019 TV Scorecard: Which Shows Have Been Renewed or Canceled Already?
With each passing week our favorite shows are wrapping up, but we're also getting news about renewals and cancellations for next season. While shows like Showtime's Shameless will be back for another round, others like Netflix's One Day at a Time have gotten the ax. Luckily The CW announced a TON of renewals for their hit series, including Riverdale and The Flash, and Hulu has also renewed a bunch of their freshman comedies. See what else has been renewed or canceled so far in 2019, ahead.
What's Been Renewed
Hulu
- Light as a Feather: Unlike many of the characters in this AwesomenessTV thriller starring Liana Liberato, the show will live to see a second season.
- Runaways: The Marvel series has been renewed for a third season.
- Shrill: Aidy Bryant's brilliant comedy will see a second season of awkward run-ins, body acceptance, and hopefully a better romance for Annie Easton.
- PEN15: Ready to go back to seventh grade? The freshman comedy has been renewed for season two.
- Ramy: Actor and comedian Ramy Youssef's hilarious series about a Muslim-American family navigating life in their politically divided New Jersey neighborhood is coming back for season two.
USA Network
- Suits: The series has been renewed for a ninth and final season, which will air sometime in 2019.
Syfy
- The Magicians: The series, which is based on Lev Grossman's book of the same name, has been renewed for a fifth season.
Fox
- So You Think You Can Dance: The dancing competition has been renewed for season 16.
- The Masked Singer: The hit new show has been granted a second season.
Netflix
- The Society: Netflix's dystopian teen drama will indeed return for season two.
- Queer Eye: Don't worry - the Fab Five are coming back for a fifth season in a brand new town!
- Dead to Me: You haven't seen the last of Jen and Judy, because the dark comedy has been renewed for a second season.
- Russian Doll: The freshman series starring Natasha Lyonne will be returning with eight new episodes in season two.
- After Life: The Ricky Gervais dramedy will be back for a second season in 2020.
- I Think You Should Leave: Tim Robinson and Zach Kani's Lonely Island-produced sketch-comedy show will return for a second season, set to premiere in 2020.
- Dogs: The puppy-loving docuseries will return for a second season.
- Grace and Frankie: The show starring Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin has been renewed for season six.
- The Kominsky Method: The comedy, which stars Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin, will return for season two.
- Fuller House: The Full House spinoff will return for its fifth and final season this Fall.
- Sex Education: After a successful first season, the series will return for season two.
- Umbrella Academy: After leaving fans with a dazzling cliffhanger in season one, the freshman Netflix series has been renewed for season two.
NBC
- Superstore: Yes, the big-box sitcom will return for a fifth season!
- Ellen's Game of Games: The game show will return for a third season.
- New Amsterdam: The medical drama will return for season two.
- Chicago Fire: The squad of Chicago Firehouse 51 will return for season eight.
- Chicago Med: The medical drama has officially been renewed for season five.
- Chicago P.D.: The series will be back for its seventh season.
- Brooklyn Nine-Nine: After making the move from Fox to NBC late last year, the series has been picked up for season seven.

- God Friended Me: The series has been renewed for a second season.
- Bull: Despite the controversy surrounding lead Michael Weatherly after he was accused of sexual harassment by former co-star Eliza Dushku, the network has decided to renew the procedural for a fourth season.

- Riverdale: The series, which is based on the Archie Comics, will return for a fourth season.
- Arrow: Oliver Queen will be back for the show's eighth season.
- The Flash: You'll be seeing more of Team Flash when the show returns for season six.
- Supergirl: The series has been renewed for season five.
- Black Lightning: The show will return for season three.
- Charmed: The reboot of the popular '90s show will return for season two.
- Legends of Tomorrow: The show has been renewed for season five.
- Dynasty: The modern remake of the '80s show will return for season three.

Hallmark
- When Calls the Heart: The series has been renewed for a seventh season, which is set to air sometime in 2020. The show will continue without Lori Loughlin after the network cut ties with the actress following her involvement in a college admissions cheating scam.
Spectrum Originals
- LA's Finest: Despite some lackluster reviews, the Bad Boys spinoff starring Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba has been renewed for a sophomore season.

- A.P. Bio: Creator Mike O'Brien revealed the comedy series has been scrapped after two seasons.

- The Good Place: Michael Schur, the show's creator and executive producer, confirmed that the comedy will end with its fourth season.

- The Tick: Despite being well-received, the superhero comedy will not return for a third season.

- Life in Pieces: The family comedy has four season under its belt, but will not get a fifth.
- Murphy Brown: Despite the revival of the classic series's "looking forward" to a second season, it's been axed.
- Fam: The freshman comedy series will not return for another season.
FOX
- The Passage: After closing out its first season, the Mark-Paul Gosselaar-starrer has been canceled.
- Lethal Weapon: After some intense cast drama and behind-the-scenes troubles, the series was canceled after season three.
STARZ
- Power: After reigning supreme on its home network, the crime drama will conclude with its sixth season.
