John Legend Shows Support For Dayton With Miles's Adorable PJs From the Oregon District
John Legend picked up some adorable PJs for Miles with a sweet meaning behind them: support for Dayton, OH. The Grammy-winning singer and Ohio native recently took a trip to one of the latest cities affected by a mass shooting, where he gave a surprise performance for the victims' families and first responders and made a plea for common sense gun legislation.
He visited small businesses in the city's Oregon District, where nine people lost their lives and 26 total were shot within 32 seconds on Aug. 4. John spoke to locals in Dayton alongside the city's mayor, Nan Whaley, and said, "We think there's nothing we can do but giving up is really not an option. We have to be able to live without the fear of being shot."
John's lookalike Miles was all smiles in his cozy pajamas from Beck + Call, an Oregon District store for women's and children's clothing, accessories, home goods, and more. The father of two captioned the photo, "Miles rocking the new PJs I got him in the Oregon District in Dayton. #DaytonStrong ❤️."
