Nestlé's Sea Salt Caramel and Pumpkin Spice Baking Truffles Exist - See Ya Later, Summer
Sorry, Summer, but Nestlé Toll House has convinced me it's time to embrace the upcoming holiday season in the form of (drum roll, please) . . . chocolate! In honor of Fall and Winter, arguably the most festive seasons of the year, Nestlé has released three flavors of mini chocolate baking truffles, and they're basically chocolate chips with an ooey gooey center. Yum!
Inspired by the famous latté flavor, the brand's Pumpkin Spice Filled Baking Truffles would probably pair well with a classic Starbucks PSL on a chilly day (or whenever you want to kick off pumpkin spice season). Also created in honor of Fall, Nestlé's Sea Salt Caramel Filled Baking Truffles consist of a chocolate shell filled with a gooey sea salt caramel center.
If you're already excited for Winter, Nestlé has also you covered with its new Peppermint Filled Baking Truffles, which are made with 100 percent real chocolate and are only available through December. All three packs of truffles can be found in 9-ounce packages for $3 each at Giant Eagle, Harris Teeter, HyVee, Kroger, Meijer, Schnucks Markets, and Supervalu - except for the Sea Salt Caramel Flavored Baking Truffles, which are exclusively available at Kroger. So grab 'em while you can, because baking season has officially begun!
