Make Your Holiday Season Better With These 15 Movies That Don't Suck

It's that time of the year where the weekend mood consists of a lit fireplace, snuggles in your favorite blanket, and a warm cup of hot cocoa (or tall glass of wine – no judgements). With a bowl of popcorn strategically placed within arm's reach, you open your favorite streaming app to get your holiday movie marathon on, and what do you find – a slew of sappy, tear-jerking films with the same premise. Sure, they have their place, but if you currently don't possess enough cheer to sit through the excessively corny, we get it. Let's face it – IRL the holidays aren't always merry and bright. In some cases, they can be downright messy because they involve people, and people are a wonderful mess. So let's deck the halls with not-so-sappy rom-coms.
