Kacey Musgraves Reminded Us That There's Always a "Rainbow" At the End of Any Storm

Kacy Musgraves's iconic single "Rainbow" is all about holding onto hope even in the darkest of times, so it's no surprise that the Grammy-winner chose to sing it for the One World: Together At Home special. The first-of-its-kind global broadcast event, which aired on multiple networks on April 18, aimed to celebrate the healthcare workers working on the front lines to fight the COVID-19 outbreak and uplift the spirits of people around the globe.
Live from her living room, Musgraves revealed that her song choice was mainly inspired by all the rainbows that she's seen online, a symbol that everything will be alright in time. As the singer launched into an emotional performance, rainbows flashed on the screen, further emphasizing the symbol's powerful optimism in a time it's sorely needed. "It's going to be alright," the singer said, ending her performance by blowing a kiss to the camera. "Everyone stay strong and stay inside."
After such a beautiful performance, that's a little easier to believe. Watch Musgrave sing "Rainbow" in the video above!
