Sofia Richie's name might be on everybody's lips, thanks to a few Instagrams on Justin Bieber's feed and a steamy trip to Mexico, but she's been around for a while. When you grow up with fashion influencer Nicole Richie for a sister, it's hard to avoid the spotlight. But Sofia embraces it with ease, maintaining a signature look that's all her own.
Sofia's style can be defined as feminine-meets-grunge, accessorized to boot with key designer pieces. While she got her start modeling for Madonna's line Material Girl and covering magazines, she now sits front row at Fashion Week, hangs out with It girls like Bella Hadid and Joan Smalls, and makes flashy statements everywhere she goes. Read on for 20 reasons we've got our eyes on her.
Daniel Ek Invented Spotify, But His Bride Just Brought Back the Asymmetrical Wedding Dress
When Spotify founder and CEO Daniel Ek got married to his long-term partner, Sofia Levander, the sun was setting on Lake Como, Italy. Sofia walked down the aisle to "November Rain" by Guns N' Roses, showing off her strapless, asymmetrical gown. From the back, it was easy to see that Sofia's train swept the floor, but from the front, her design appeared just a simple cream, cocktail dress, so Sofia was able to show off her satin bow shoes. Her yellow bouquet complemented the champagne shade of her number, which featured a strapless ruched bodice.
You might remember that Amal Alamuddin and George Clooney also tied the knot in Italy, but with a guest list that included Mark Zuckerberg and Chris Rock, and a performance by Bruno Mars, the Ek wedding was just as glamorous. Read on to see Sofia's update on the high-low bridal look, and watch her approach the altar. Then check out more snaps from the special day, and get a peek at the red midi Zuckerberg's wife, Priscilla Chan, wore to the ceremony.

Stranger Things Is Coming Back For Season 2! Here's What We Know
For anyone who's zipped through Stranger Things and wondering if Netflix will bring you back to the Upside Down, we have some good news - they are! It was announced on Wednesday that Netflix officially picked up the series for another season. It will be set in 1984 (picking up in the Fall, which is roughly a year after the events in season one), and consist of nine episodes with a premiere date scheduled at some point in 2017. Co-creators Matt and Ross Duffer (a.k.a. The Duffer Brothers mentioned in every opening credits sequence) will both return, as well as executive producers Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen. The new, minute-long teaser for the upcoming season also reveals the films that will influence season two (Mad Max, The Boy Who Came Back to Live, The Pumpkin Patch, The Palace, The Storm, The Pollywog, The Secret Cabin, The Brain, and The Lost Brother):
To further clear things up, Matt Duffer gave a hint about what's to come in season two in an interview with IGN:
We wanted to do a couple things with this [first] season. We didn't want to do The Killing thing. We wanted it to resolve that main thing of Will going missing in the first season. So in that sense, it is like an eight-hour movie. Now, we don't answer all the questions by the end of the season - there are definitely some dangling threads. The hope is that it feels satisfying but that we left room and that if people respond to it we can go back into this world. But if we do get to go back, it's not a second season as much as a sequel.
Producer Shawn Levy also gave a few season two insights in an interview with SlashFilm. When asked if the Duffer Brothers are planning out more seasons, Levy said:
Yes. The answer is yes and yes. We definitely are hopeful to go several more seasons. And the plan is to continue with this set of characters while introducing a few critical key new ones next season. So I'll just say that a lot of the big mysteries get answered at the end of season one, but we are very much kind of unearthing new problems and questions that merit future stories and future investigation in the most enjoyable way. So we are in love with our cast and our characters.
We still have so many questions about the finale and yes, even more ideas for season two!
Not Even Jena Malone's Baby Could Distract Us From Her Engagement Ring
We spot one on our feed nearly every day: an excited "I'm engaged" picture posted by one our friends, meant to show off their rock and announce their happy news. But sorry, ladies - no announcement could possibly be cuter than the one Jena Malone posted to Instagram, stating she said yes to longtime boyfriend Ethan DeLorenzo. The actress opted for a double-whammy with her ring pose, giving us a peek at the diamond on her hand as well as her baby boy, Ode Mountain DeLorenzo Malone.
While the ring was a bit out of focus, we can still tell it's a stunner purely by its size (large), the way it sparkled, and the classic cut. Scroll through to get a good view as we wait for Jena show that baby off (and by that, we mean the ring) on the red carpet.
These Unseen Photos of Princess Diana's Wedding Dress Are Straight Out of a Fairy Tale
Princess Diana was so stylish, her classic fashion sense is still admired to this day. But her wedding dress - oh, her wedding dress - was straight out of a fairy tale. The iconic design, finished with a long train, pouf sleeves, lace ruffles, and a delicate scalloped hemline, was created by Elizabeth and David Emanuel and completed with a magnificent veil that outdid Diana's fanciest hats.
Now, never-before-seen photographs from Diana and Prince Charles's wedding, which took place at Buckingham Palace on July 29, 1981, have surfaced. The pictures were taken by an assistant to English photographer Lord Patrick Lichfield and feature incredibly gorgeous angles of Diana's gown. We're not surprised that the images have left the fashion world abuzz. Reminisce with us on the anniversary of the late princess's death.

Princess Diana Was the Ultimate '80s Style Icon, and These Pics Are Proof
This week brought a ton of nostalgia as Prince George started nursery school in England and many royal watchers thought back to images of young Prince William, George's dad, marking the same milestone back in the '80s.
With that decade on our minds, we couldn't help reminiscing about William's mother, Princess Diana, and how her style perfectly encapsulated so much that was wacky and wonderful about '80s style. We did a bit of digging to find 11 photos of the late princess that pretty much sum up the era - think blazers, big collars, and so much silk.

Rihanna and Drake Continue Their NYC Love Fest With an Intimate Dinner
Rihanna and Drake are full of sweet appearances lately. After they partied the night away together after the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, the rumored couple stepped out in NYC once again when they enjoyed a dinner date at Nobu on Monday night. While the rapper looked casual in a letterman jacket and khaki pants, Rihanna showed off some major leg by donning a oversize blouse and strappy heels. The two recently put their incredible chemistry on display when Drake presented the "Work" singer with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the VMAs. Not only did he profess his love for her on live TV, but the pair even walked off the stage together hand in hand.
Having Fun Is Essential to Fitness Success: Here's How
Pulling myself out of bed at 6:14 a.m. to catch the 6:29 bus to make a 7 a.m. cardio class would've sounded absolutely effing nuts if you had proposed the idea to me a couple years ago.
The 1 Thing That Got Me to Start Working Out
That's because working out never sounded fun to me - in fact, it sounded kind of miserable. I didn't know of anyone actually enjoying their workouts; they were just doing it to lose weight, be skinny, or reach some kind of body goal. And when they did work out, they were sweaty, tired, and often quite sore. I never saw the fun side of fitness, which is super unfortunate.
I look at classes like SoulCycle and events like the Nike Women's Half Marathon as my "gateway drug" to fitness, because they have the essential ingredients that had been missing; they had the factor that drew me in and kept me firmly planted in the fitness world: fun!
It might sound silly, but fun is essential to breaking into fitness for the first time, setting up good habits, and staying healthy consistently. Here's how.
Overcoming Fear
One of the biggest obstacles to getting into a workout is fear. Fear of failure, fear of not being able to keep up, fear of judgment. Want to know what counters fear? The idea of having fun. Aerialist and circus performer Ashley Vargas does death-defying stunts as her form of staying active, and how does she overcome that fear? By reminding herself that no matter how scary her activity might seem, it's going to be way more fun.
Find something that seems more fun than scary; I lived by that principle when I signed up for my first half-marathon. Had I ever run anything longer than the mandatory PE-class mile? No. Had I ever been an athlete? Absolutely not. But I signed up because that event looked so fun, and there were Tiffany necklaces, and the experience was in a cool city, and I could go up with my girlfriends and make a weekend of it . . . the list goes on. Fun helped me overcome a scary obstacle of running an intimidatingly long race; fun duped me into becoming a half-marathoner, and I've never looked back.
Why You Should Balance Your Home Workouts With Group Fitness
Staying Motivated
It's much harder to drag yourself to the gym when you're not having fun and you don't enjoy your workout. Fun will motivate you on days when losing weight doesn't sound as appealing anymore or when you don't care about what your body looks like. A fun exercise will give you something to be excited about, even in the toughest of times. On days when you're losing steam, something that sounds fun will always pick you back up and give you something to look forward to.
Think about having a really long, hard day at work - then next on the agenda is a workout you don't love. How motivated are you to get out there and exercise? You're probably getting in the car and going straight home to the couch, right? Conversely, if it's a workout that brings you a lot of joy and makes you feel good, it'll be the bright spot at the end of the day and a total pick-me-up, not something you'd blow off.
Staying Consistent
Remember that feeling when you were a little kid and you were so excited about something happening the next morning, you couldn't sleep? Whether it was Christmas morning or your parents were taking you to Disneyland, you simply couldn't keep your eyes closed past 5 a.m. The same concept applies to a fitness style or class you're excited about. What will make you excited? A new type of class or one that you just love so much you can't wait to go back?
For me, treating myself to a Friday morning SoulCycle class with one of my favorite instructors (and, you know, maybe getting a Philz Coffee after class) is enough to pull me out of bed consistently at 6 a.m., at least once a week.
Find that form of exercise that you love, something that feels so electric and exciting. You'll go back again and again and again. No more need to make excuses to blow off workouts; you'll be booking your schedule solid with your new favorite activity.
How I Learned to Love Morning Workouts
Opening You Up to MORE Fitness
Like I said, the fun stuff is the gateway drug. If you had dropped me into a competitive, traditional cycling class two years ago, I would've run right out of the studio, tripping on my cycling shoes. But because I tried a fun, dance-oriented format that really meshed with my personality, I got comfortable with movement in a way that was exciting, not a punishment.
And that's just the thing: working out should never feel like a punishment. You should only be moving in a way that makes your body feel good . . . and that makes your brain feel good, too! Finding the right exercise can take some trial and error, but it's so important to keep trying. Even yogi Kathryn Budig told POPSUGAR that she hated her first yoga class - and now she's one of the world's most popular yoga teachers. "I really believe there's a teacher and style for everyone; it's just a matter of patience. Just keep trying," she said.
After you find that one workout you love and start getting more comfortable with exercise, you'll open the door to more workouts. You'll find something else that you love and start to think, "Wow, how am I supposed to choose between hip-hop cardio and aerial yoga?!"
Did I ever think that fitness would be my favorite activity? Hell. No. The me of two years ago would've laughed at the concept. But because I found the classes and activities that were exceptionally fun, exciting, and motivating (enough for me to get out of bed at 6 a.m. consistently), I've turned my life around, gotten in the best shape of my life, and set myself up for the healthiest future. You can do the same!

People Are Freaking Out Over These Beyoncé Photos That Are 13 Years Apart
Beyoncé is many things - a singer, a dancer, an artist, a mother, an icon - but, as it turns out, she is also a wonderful, majestic freak of nature. The "Hold Up" singer captivated everyone's attention on Sunday when she performed her album Lemonade at the MTV Video Music Awards in Madison Square Garden in New York City. While she owned the stage while belting out her latest hits, she also made a few more appearances to accept her awards for best female video and video of the year. And while she donned many lavish outfits during the night, one gold pantsuit with a sparkly cape caught everyone's attention the most. The ensemble closely resembled one she wore during the 2003 VMAs, which was the year she made her first solo performance after parting ways with Destiny's Child, and it didn't take long before people noticed the lack of change in the 13 years from then until now. Long story short, Beyoncé doesn't age. See the comparison above to see for yourself!

Kanye West spares no expense when it comes to Kim Kardashian's gifts. From gold Cartier bracelets to hand-painted Hermès bags, no price tag is too high for the rapper, who clearly knows the way to his wife's heart. But hey, you know what they say: happy wife, happy life, right?
Sorry, G-Eazy Didn't Try to Kiss Britney Spears During Their VMAs Performance
After nearly 10 years, Britney Spears made a ferocious return to the MTV Video Music Awards stage at NYC's Madison Square Garden on Sunday night. Between her fierce hair flips, sexy costume, and hit song "Make Me . . .," it was definitely a new Britney moment that will undoubtedly go down in VMAs history. But one thing from the performance might also be remembered for a few different reasons. While sharing the stage with G-Eazy, the two engaged in some steamy flirting, including Britney full-on grabbing his crotch at one point. But when the rapper romantically caressed her face and appeared to maybe try to hint at kissing her, Britney firmly shook her head "no" and backed away.
Fans quickly called out the moment on social media, tweeting things like, "SO WE NOT TALKING ABOUT HOW G EAZY TRIED TO KISS BRITTNEY AND SHE SWERVED," and, "He was just trying to have a kiss moment with her and she was like Goodnight." On Tuesday, Britney shut down those rumors, telling 92.3 AMP Radio, "No, I don't think so. He has a girlfriend!" She also revealed the move was impromptu, adding, "In rehearsals, there wasn't really anything planned for us to do, so when we got there . . . I didn't honestly really know what I was doing, and I kind of do something similar to that in my show in Vegas . . . We didn't really touch each other. It was just like, 'Hey, okay, you do your thing. I'll do my thing.'"
Apple's New Update to This Patent Proves It's Not Playing With Phone Thieves
As a company at the vanguard of modern technology, Apple applies for a lot of patents that don't always end up happening - or at least not as soon as we'd like them to. Recently, Apple updated a patent originally requested in 2010 that would use the iPhone's touch ID feature to prevent phone theft. If developed, the technology could potentially be a major breakthrough for this all-too-common crime.
It appears that Apple is hoping to use the iPhone's touch ID to covertly capture the hypothetical thief's fingerprints. However, Apple went a step further to also introduce the idea of recording the thief's voice and snap of a photo of them as they attempt to make a phone call on the stolen phone.
Though progressive, the idea does bring up many legal and technical questions. For example, how would Apple bring the fingerprints, photos, and recordings to the iPhone owner or the authorities? While there are certainly a lot of details to parse through, it's still exciting to witness the company address some of its users' concerns.
How the Theme For American Horror Story Season 6 May Have Just Leaked
On Monday, popular movie and TV review site Rotten Tomatoes may have made a huge, tiny mistake. Of course, the site has American Horror Story among its endless list of TV titles, but if you checked out the page for the show's sixth season, you'd have noticed something glaring: the sixth installment had been listed as American Horror Story: The Mist. The site has already changed it to be a more generic title. The updated version now says "Season 6" instead of "The Mist." But, well, here's how it looked early Monday afternoon.
If you haven't been following the bizarre and confusing news timeline for the show's latest installment, let's catch you up. In July, the new promotional teasers began making their way online, and we couldn't help but notice that the first six were vastly different in tone and imagery. That's when we learned there's a catch: according to FX Networks CEO John Landgraf, only one of the dozen or so mini-trailers would illustrate the real theme.
You can't run from us... #AHS6 http://pic.twitter.com/vmBIbGcZsw
- AmericanHorrorStory (@AHSFX) August 30, 2016
So, should we set our sights on The Mist? Maybe. After all, there is a teaser by that name, and the latest addition to this season's official posters features the same hazy imagery and terrifying creature. Let's be real, though: it's worth noting that Rotten Tomatoes isn't the most reliable source. There's no information to source us back to creator Ryan Murphy or FX. And of course, we'd had more complex hopes for a theme: we thought perhaps the new season could take us to a haunted movie set, into a dark, scary forest, close to the devil or the Antichrist, or even inside a sinister cult. And, to be fair, these are all still possibilities. After all, Ryan Murphy has a tendency to tell a whole handful of stories and side-stories within one season. But, well, is the mist at the center of all of it? We're just days away from finding out.
What That Strange Cat Imagery in Kanye West's "Fade" Video May Mean
At Sunday night's MTV Music Video Awards, Kanye West presented his new music video for "Fade." The video, starring a fit-as-f*ck Teyana Taylor, features too many hot moments to GIF, plus one very, very bizarre sequence. At the very end, Taylor's has face has morphed into that of a cat. She has a long, black tail that curls up off her rear end, and she's cuddling close to her fiancé, Iman Shupert. Their child, Iman Tayla Shumpert Jr., sits nearby. And milling around beneath them is a whole hoard of sheep. Considering most of the video involves sexy, sweaty dancing and a hot shower scene, we can't help but wonder: what's the significance of this strange, surreal shot? We did some digging, and we've got a few answers.

14 Texting Commandments That You Need to Start Following Right Now
There are many struggles with texting, whether it's people using the wrong emoji or getting stuck in a group text. It's become very clear that maybe not everyone is on the same page regarding what exactly is the right texting etiquette. People on the popular sharing network Yik Yak agreed and created some of the much-needed rules everyone needs when it comes to texting.

This May Be Proof Costco Vodka Trumps All Others
A post went up on Reddit comparing two well-known vodkas through UnderTheLabel, a Consumers Digest-like site that offers intriguing facts about alcohol and spirits. The comparison between Grey Goose Vodka and Costco's Kirkland Signature Vodka revealed that the two vodkas are made in the same region (France) using the same water. Costco's vodka scored higher in blind taste tests and is sold at less than HALF the price. This isn't the first time a comparison of the two vodkas has floated around the internet, so while we can't know for certain it's true, we're apt to think there's a reason Kirkland Vodka has such a tremendous following. Now the only question that remains is who wants to take a trip to Costco tonight?
TIL that Costco's Kirkland Signature Vodka is made in the same region, using the same water, as Grey Goose and scores higher in blind taste tests. It costs less than 1/2 the price. from todayilearned

Tiny Hamster With Tiny Cast Becomes Internet's Beloved Spirit Animal
Yes, you're seeing this correctly. It is a tiny hamster with a teeny-tiny cast on its arm. We're assuming that this is probably a dwarf hamster, which would make sense for how tiny it is, though we can't be certain because this nugget of cuteness was just dropped on Reddit with no further information. But you know what? All we need to know is that this tiny, precious animal has an even tinier cast on its arm, and we, along with the rest of the internet, are absolutely in love with it.
My Pets Sleep on $125 Beds, and It's Totally Worth It
It's official: I'm one of "those people" whose pets live more luxuriously than they do. It was never intentional, of course, but over the past three years, my dog has become pampered to the point where she now sleeps on a mattress that offers better lumbar support than mine. And you know what? It's totally worth it.
The Review
When Casper sent one of its newly released dog beds for my own pup to test, the first thing my boyfriend asked was: "Can they send a human mattress for us next?" It wasn't hard to see why he was jealous . . . the minimalist design and comfortable foam construction of the bed we unpacked was pleasing to the eye and instantly comfortable to the touch. Perhaps that's why celebrities like Kylie Jenner are loyal customers of Casper's mattress-to-door business model.
The new bed was intended for Pickle, my 3-year-old rescue Chihuahua, because it was designed around canine behavior to create an ideal sleep environment for dogs . . . but it became popular with another member of my household, too. Jiji, the ragdoll-mix cat that we recently adopted, found every opportunity to nap on the bed. She and Pickle began taking turns enjoying their fancy new sleeping surface, each stealing naps on the Casper bed when the other was busy with their own daily activities.
Why It's Worth It
While the $125-$225 price point of Casper's dog bed model is certainly steeper than many would consider for their pet's sleeping situation, I'm a convert. Trust me on this: since receiving the bed, there have been serious changes in my animal family members' sleep patterns. If $125 means fewer 4 a.m. get-in-my-face-and-meow sessions or crazed midnight sprints around the living room, it's a price I'm willing to pay! Even though Pickle and Jiji are the ones sleeping on a heavenly foam mattress, it's affected my own slumber for the better.
Design-lovers will adore the mattress for an entirely different reason; available in gray, blue, and sand-beige options, the sleek design of the mattress is much more elevated than the sort of beds you typically find in pet stores. So whether you are looking for a prettier alternative to tacky pet products or want to improve your nightly routine, this is the pick for you - and Jiji would remind you to pick up one for your cat, also.

5 Things No One Warns You About When Fostering Shelter Pets
My entry into the world of foster animals came in October of last year, after my puppy fever hit a record high. Several months spent religiously stalking my neighborhood shelters led to a strange little face popping up on my screen – it was a Pekingese with bulgy eyes that weren't quite right and a wild fur coat that made a dog somehow look more like a lion with growth issues. And what do you know, he needed a foster home. I quickly fired off a "Can we foster this guy?" text to my boyfriend, and without waiting for a response, I was hurrying out of my office to pick him up from the shelter.
Swooping that pup up from Social Tees animal rescue turned our home into a revolving door for foster pets, welcoming a new four-legged friend each time the last found his forever family. The laughter, joy, and occasional chaos these animals have brought into our cramped one-bedroom apartment in New York has been the absolute best experience.
If you're at all considering joining the foster community, here's just a small dose of what you can expect.
Scared Pup Rescued From Storm Drain and Reunited With Family
A couple weeks ago, a curious pup named Edgar wandered away from his home and family only to be missing for a week. In that time, the Ohio town where he lived went through numerous storms, which unfortunately Edgar is afraid of. Edgar's owner, Sean Ryan, told Today that he often lets the dog and his other rescue dog, Oscar, out to run around, knowing that they always come back. "They are good boys, but they love to sneak out," he told Today. "They'll get loose and come home on their own within a night or two."
This time, however, seven days went by and Edgar didn't return. Fortunately, luck was on Edgar's side, and Ryan found him whimpering in a storm drain. The fire department was called and Edgar was freed, suffering minor injuries. He was soon returned home to Oscar and showered with love and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches! Scroll through the Imgur gallery above to see Edgar's whole story in photos.
