Recall Alert: Hold Off on Packing Your Kid a Lunchables

Be careful packing lunches this week!

Kraft Heinz Company has issued a voluntary recall of nearly 1,000 pounds of ready-to-eat Lunchables Ham and American Cracker Stackers packaged lunches due to the labels missing vital allergen information. The product contains wheat and soy, which is normally declared on the label, but this particular batch of meals were misbranded with a label from a Lunchables nachos product. The retail was issued after a costumer complained, but there haven't been any reports of illness as a result of the undeclared allergens.

The affected 3.4 ounce boxes were produced on Sept. 21, 2016 with a "use by" date of Dec. 25, 2016 and production times ranging from 9:13 to 10:00 stamped on the side of the four-compartment plastic container. They were shipped to retail locations in Utah and California.

Costumers who purchased these boxes of Lunchables are urged not to eat them, but to either throw them away or bring them back to the place of purchase for a refund.

This Westworld Theory Will Make You See the Show in a Whole New Light

Two episodes in, and I'm hooked on Westworld. HBO's new show has already given us so many violent delights (see what I did there?), and I'm beyond curious to see what happens next. After all, there has to be more to the plot that what we've seen so far. With its plethora of mysterious characters, strange details, and seemingly purposeful inconsistencies, Westworld has posed so many questions already - making it the perfect show to theorize about. Thus, it should come as no surprise that the internet is buzzing about what might be going on under the surface. Last week, I convinced myself that The Man in Black is secretly a robot. I've jumped ship on that theory, and I'm onto a new one. Spoilers follow!

Several Reddit users (including Where_isJessica_Hyde) are theorizing that the timid character introduced in the second episode, William, is The Man in Black. Remember, The Man in Black claims that he's been coming to the park for 30 years, which means that William's storyline is happening three decades in the past. It sounds crazy, but it might be true.

As Reddit user otter454z points out, the logo that flashes in the station when William arrives is different (and markedly more retro) than the logo we see in the modern-day office where the programmers work.

Furthermore, there's a scene in the premiere when The Man in Black picks up the can for Dolores, but he tells her, "I'm afraid I've got other plans tonight, Dolores." When we see William's first day at the park, he picks up Dolores's can and seems enchanted by her. Could these parallel scenes mean something?

If it's true, it would mean that William is about to go through a truly sinister evolution, and that perhaps he's not as shy as he lets on. While there are certainly holes in the theory, it's one that I'm willing to bet on.

This Harry Potter Subscription Box Is Sent to Your Door, Hogwarts Letter-Style

Kiss the galleons in your Gringott's vault goodbye, because there's a new geeky subscription box in town . . . and it's Harry Potter-themed. While many monthly box services have attempted Harry Potter themes before, this is the first officially licensed box dedicated entirely to J.K. Rowling's magical universe. Appropriately named The Wizarding World Crate, the service will deliver subscribers a box filled with five to seven exclusively designed items every other month. (Just not on Sundays, as Vernon Dursley would be sure to remind us.)

The "unique and officially licensed collectibles, apparel, figures, memorabilia, and more" in each mystery box are a collaborative project between Loot Crate and Warner Bros. made exclusively for this subscription box. Inspired by the entire wizarding world - including the upcoming movie, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them - this magical subscription is the next best mail delivery to a Hogwarts letter.

Membership pricing for the Wizarding World Crate begins at $35 per crate (plus shipping costs), but buying more than one box at a time will decrease the overall price. Most Potter fans will shout "Accio!" at this box faster than you can say "Quidditch," but we have one question: do the Loot Crate mail owls also deliver to cupboards under the stairs?

This Dad Just Proved That He Actually Understands Postpartum Body Struggles

"Whenever we're getting ready, I throw on a shirt and shorts and complain that Sarah's taking too long finding something to wear," starts a post to Facebook by Brad Kearns, owner of the DaDMum page. Couple banter over who takes longer to get ready is totally common, but the rest of Kearns's post delves into something much deeper than who stands in front of the mirror longer - it comments on his wife's postpartum body.

We all know it's not about the clothes. It's about the fact that the whole post-natal process sucks ass. The kids have become the number one priority. For nine months of pregnancy the body is stretched, poked, and prodded like a science experiment. . . . Then the baby is born. . . . people come in and visit; they say how great mum looks while they cuddle the baby. The partner takes a week off work to help out while they recover.

But soon enough, the partner has to return to work. People aren't visiting as often. They're left with the original responsibilities and a newborn that isn't sleeping properly yet. It's hard to rest, hard to eat well, hard to even leave the house for some. Then they look at Instagram and Facebook. Oh what do you f*cking know, the celebrities with a personal trainer, chef, nanny, and a makeup artist post a picture that goes viral of their "post-baby body". That only took six weeks. From that point onward the expectation is set.

F*ck that expectation.

Kearns ends his post with an important message that all women need to hear: "Take as long as you need to look after yourself and get yourself back into the swing of things. Nobody who loves you is going to care how long you take. What they will care about is your mental health. It's unhealthy to think six to 12 weeks is enough time to bounce back to your prebaby body. If you're not ready, don't set the bar so high that you fail. Set your own bar. The one that works for you."

The Title of Solange's Empowering Anthem Says It All: "Don't Touch My Hair"

Following the release of her impressive 21-track album, A Seat at the Table, Solange Knowles debuted two powerful and visually stunning music videos. One of the videos, shown above, is a personal-turned-political ode to black women and hair.

In "Don't Touch My Hair," Solange expresses the symbolic nature of her hair and its inevitably intimate implications. The lyrics read, "Don't touch my hair, when it's the feelings I wear . . . Don't touch my crown, they say the vision I've found." The words are also meant to link her hair to her identity as a black woman and her pride therein.

On YouTube, many people said they could related to the lyrics. One person wrote, "I've been wearing my natural hair for six years now but I continued to cut it throughout middle school and high school because people loved to touch it every time I wore it out. And sometimes, I even had to wear it in a bun just so people wouldn't touch it."

In what appears to be a response to the video and Solange's many incredible hairstyles in it, someone on Twitter asked the singer for her hair secrets. Solange listed a few things from coconut oil to steam from the shower and, of course, her hairstylist Nikki Nelms.

On a Scale of 1 to 10, Lily Collins's New Hair Is a Definite 10

If you're thinking about getting bangs for Fall, just take a cue from Lily Collins. The actress got a gorgeous new fringe and also dyed her hair a sleek, dark chocolate hue while in Paris for Fashion Week. Celebrity stylist Jen Atkin was responsible for the dramatic style, and Lily also gave her a shout-out on social media for the new look.

That wasn't all, however: Lily pinned her hair back for an Audrey Hepburn-esque feel while at the Valentino Spring 2017 show. She was clearly obsessing over her hair as she posted multiple snaps of her bangs. Furthermore, the darker color is right on trend for Fall. Keep reading to see Lily's full transformation.

MAC Cosmetics's Upcoming Spellbinder Shadows Will Absolutely Blow Your Mind

True beauty junkies know that loose pigment is the fastest way to achieve high-intensity eye makeup looks, but they also know it's one of the messiest techniques. Unless you slap on a supersticky primer first, you'll be dealing with fallout all day and night. That's less than ideal considering you want compliments on the highlighter you're wearing on your cheekbones, not remarks on the little specks tumbling onto them from your eyelids.

Leave it to MAC to completely turn the concept of loose pigment on its head with the brand's new Spellbinder shadows. Launching on Oct. 20, this collection consists of eight shimmering loose formulas that are magnetically charged. The packaging itself contains a magnet, preventing any product from spilling out of the matte black container. It also keeps the shadow beautifully arranged in tiny, glimmering rows. See it in action here.

When dipping our fingers into the shadow, we observed that it featured an unusual cushy feel that was closer to a gel-powder formula. Smoothing it onto the skin revealed its rich, creamy texture, buildable color, and luminous finish. It applied just like a cream shadow, so there's no risk of fallout.

While you don't have to layer it over another color, we can see how these black-based hues would look even more dimensional on top of MAC's iconic Carbon eye shadow ($16). Read on to see shots of the collection.

The True Story Behind The Omen, One of the Most Haunted Film Productions in History

As Summer came to an end in 1975, production began on one of the more well-known entries in the horror film canon. A chilling portrayal that depicts the foretold arrival of the Antichrist and the inevitable end of times, The Omen came hot off the success of The Exorcist, a frightening and devilish adaptation that had changed the landscape of the movie genre forever.

The Exorcist had been a monstrous hit. To this day, it ranks as one of the top-grossing horror films of all time, having earned over $232 million in revenue. It also earned a staggering 10 Academy Award nominations, which included best picture, best actress, best actor, best supporting actress, and best director. With this kind of success, it seemed like The Omen would be a surefire hit; producer Harvey Bernhard had counted on that. What he might not have expected, though, was the strange set of occurrences that would string together and earn The Omen a reputation as one of the most cursed productions in film history.

Even when The Omen was just an idea floating around the Hollywood stratosphere, Bernhard had received a grave warning. According to the Los Angeles Times, an advertising executive named Bob Munger had approached him with an idea involving the Antichrist. Munger pitched the concept with caution. Bernhard said, "He warned us that he thought the devil didn't want us to make the picture."

In later interviews, both Munger and Bernhard recalled how they predicted the curse in these early moments. Munger recalls his words of warning: "I said, 'If you make this movie, you're going to have some problems. If the devil's greatest single weapon is to be invisible and you're going to do something which is going to take away his invisibility to millions of people, he's not going to want that to happen.'" Bernhard recalled, "The devil was at work and he didn't want that film made."

The trouble ignited before the film even began production. The perceived catalyst was the tragic suicide of lead actor Gregory Peck's son, who had shot himself in the head in June 1975, just two months before the first days on set. When Peck flew to London for the role, his plane was struck by lightning. A few weeks later, executive Marc Neufeld boarded a flight from LA. His plane was also struck by lightning, and he referred to the experience as "the roughest five minutes I've ever had on an airliner."

Still, production on The Omen lurched forward. Bernhard began wearing a cross on set. At one point, the team had hired a small plane for some aerial filming, but the vessel was switched over to another client at the last minute. The plane reportedly crashed on takeoff, killing everyone on board. More ominous circumstances seemed to plague the production. Neufeld, whose plane had already been struck by lightning, was staying at the London Hilton with his wife. The building was bombed by the Irish Republican Army in September of that year.

As filming rolled on, so did the disasters. One particularly chilling zoo scene had a group of wild baboons reacting violently to Damien's presence. According to director Richard Donner, Damien's mother, played by actress Lee Remick, was legitimately terrified while filming the sequence. For the safety of the cast and crew, an animal trainer had been brought on to deal with the baboons involved in the scene. "He was killed the day after we shot there," Bernhard recalled. "He was killed by a tiger. He grabbed him by the head and killed him instantly."

Even after the film was finished, the curse seemed to live on, following those involved with it and inflicting them with unspeakable tragedy. The film's initial release was an obvious choice: June 6, 1976, or 6/6/76. In August of that year, a special effects genius named John Richardson got in a terrible car accident. He was in the Netherlands, working on Richard Attenborough's A Bridge Too Far. In terms of The Omen, Richardson had executed a particularly gruesome decapitation scene. Richardson had survived his car accident in Holland, but his passenger, assistant Liz Moore, hadn't been so fortunate. She had been beheaded. According to local reports, a sign in the vicinity clocked the distance to a nearby town: "Ommen, 66.6 km."

One of the film's stuntmen, Alf Joint, also went to work on A Bridge Too Far. He wound up in the hospital after one of his stunts went wrong. In one sequence, he was simply meant to jump from the roof to an airbag, but he seemed to fall, abruptly and strangely. When he woke up in the hospital, he claimed he'd been pushed by something.

And what became of Harvey Stephens, the young boy who portrayed Damien? He seems to have completely vanished. Back in 2001, AMC premiered a 90-minute documentary called The Omen Legacy. The piece rehashed many of the aforementioned stories and included interviews with the original cast and crew. Stephens was nowhere to be found. "I saw him nine years ago," Bernhard said at the time. "He was handsome and a wonderful boy. He was tall and he was rather beautiful. It was the only picture he ever made." Kevin Burns, an executive producer for the special, even went as far as to hire a private investigator to get ahold of the former actor. "I am sure he is still around out there . . . we really tried to find him."

Stephens isn't missing, by the way. In fact, he returned to acting in 2006, right back to where his career started. He played a small role in the remake of The Omen, which starred Julia Stiles and Liev Schreiber and was released on 6/6/06. As far as we know, nothing out of the ordinary happened during the production of the reboot. The quietude begs the question: is the curse of The Omen real? Was it all coincidence, just a case of bad luck? Only the devil knows.

We Can't Stop Thinking About the Disturbing Twist in The Girl on the Train

One of the reasons The Girl on the Train shot to seemingly instant success was its spectacular, there's-no-way-in-hell-you-ever-saw-that-coming ending (in addition to its fantastic writing, terrifying thrills, and complex characters, of course). Although there are a few minor differences between the novel and its cinematic adaptation, the film mostly stays true to its source material. The twist in both versions is a total punch to the gut, and is precisely why everyone who adored Gone Girl couldn't get enough. Whether you're too much of a wimp to stick it out through Emily Blunt's fantastic performance or you're a little unclear about how it ends, we've laid it all out for you below.

Spoilers for the ending of The Girl on the Train below!

The Setup

Rachel Watson (Blunt) is an alcoholic and divorcée who commutes to NYC's Grand Central station each day by train, where she becomes obsessed with a seemingly perfect husband and wife - Scott (Luke Evans) and Megan Hipwell (Haley Bennett) - whom she catches glimpses of in their backyard at a certain train stop. Megan is extremely bored in her marriage and takes on a job as a nanny for the baby of her neighbors, Tom (Justin Theroux) and Anna (Rebecca Ferguson). One day Rachel sees Megan kissing another man, flies into a blind, drunken rage, and blacks out. A few days later, she discovers that Megan has gone missing and is possibly dead, and is questioned by the authorities about her whereabouts and what she might know. Given her obsession with the Hipwells (and her decaying mental state), Rachel begins investigating Megan's disappearance on her own, even though she can't quite trust herself due to her alcoholism. It's revealed she lived two doors down from the Hipwells before she got divorced from her ex-husband (Tom!) and moved to a different suburb. Tom is now married to the woman he cheated on Rachel with (Anna) and is constantly being bombarded by Rachel's aggressive drunken calls, texts, and surprise appearances at his home.

The Twist

During Rachel and Tom's marriage, he had convinced her that her drinking problem had led to instances of physical abuse and an incident at his work party that had gotten him fired. As Rachel gets deeper into the mystery of Megan's disappearance, she discovers that not only has Tom been lying about her behavior the entire time (he was the abusive one, not her), but she pieces together the fact that he's been having an affair with Megan. Tom is the one who killed Megan! She told him he got her pregnant and that she wanted to keep the baby. He then killed her and tried to cover it up by dumping her body in the woods. Unfortunately for Tom, Rachel ran into both of them the night it happened (although she was blackout drunk at the time) and manages to remember it later on. Anna also does a little digging of her own, finds Megan's cell phone in Tom's bag, and realizes Rachel has been right all along. Rachel confronts Anna and Tom about everything, and Tom attacks Rachel before she stabs him in the neck with a corkscrew. Anna and Rachel are then called into the police station, where they cover for each other.

You'll Want to Watch This Mesmerizing Supernova Flash GIF Over and Over Again

NASA scientists captured images of a supernova, or an exploding star, for the first time yesterday and we are totally transfixed by the video. While NASA has been able to see supernovae for some time, they were only capable of obtaintaing video of the ephemeral flash by monitoring 500 galaxies every 30 minutes for three years. And we're so elated they did.

Scientists used a Keplar space telescope to catch the star as it burst - it's the same telescope that has successfully discovered thousands of other planets. The supernova in the video, technically named KSN 2011d, is a red supergiant, which has the greatest volume of all the star classifications though they are not the biggest stars in size. Supergiants are also considered to be some of the most luminous stars - and that's definitely apparent here! Keplar was able to spot KSN 2011d's 20-minute blast, despite being 1.2 billion light years away. We're not exactly sure how far away that is, but we're positive Google Maps cannot get you there. The discovery is a monumental step in dissecting the life cycle of stars and it's especially indicative of how different classifications of stars end their life cycles. As NASA analyzes its findings, we're just going to sit mesmerized by the supernova's explosion. Maybe after several hundred loops we'll watch this video of two black holes colliding.

Did This iPhone 7 Explode Before It Got to Its Owner?

Courage from pics

It looks like Apple might need to address consumers after images of a burnt-to-a-crisp iPhone 7 have left the internet asking a lot of questions. Before we all laugh it off as just another Samsung Note 7 experience, let's look at the facts.

Reddit user kroopthesnoop posted the photos of the phone, explaining that a co-worker ordered the new iPhone 7. They stated that when it arrived, the packaging was completely damaged and the phone itself was burnt. Although everyone was quick to assume that the iPhone exploded, which may be the case, it's also possible that the package had a rocky journey to its owner, causing it to be completely destroyed.

Earlier in September, Samsung Note 7 phones were recalled after many users saw their phones explode and catch fire, but that issue was caused by overheating batteries and this new iPhone's battery wasn't on in the package. All rest assured, though - in an update on the post, the Reddit user said Apple contacted the co-worker about the phone and has sent a replacement phone. What do you think happened to this crispy iPhone 7?

Try Solving This Math Puzzle That Is Making People Go Crazy on Facebook

Ever wanted to tear your hair out and question everything you've ever learned about math? Well, thanks to the website Brain Dare, you can. The company recently posted a math puzzle to its Facebook page that's made the internet divide into two categories based on answers.

Take a look at the puzzle below and determine your own answer.

Did you get 40? Or 96? Though Brain Dare states that 96 is the correct answer, other users are claiming that both can be correct. Brain Dare figured out its answer with multiplication. To begin, you multiply the first number by the second number. For example, 1 x 4 = 4. Then, add that result to the first number and you'll arrive at the answer after the equal sign; for the first line it's 5.

But some people arrived at the answer 40 sans multiplication. Instead, they just added the answer of the first line (5) to the next one. So, 5 + 2 = 7. Add the 5 in the previous answer and you'll get to the answer 12. If you follow it all the way through, you'll arrive at 40.

People in the comments are arguing about which answer is actually right. Some just want Brain Dare to acknowledge that math puzzles such as these can have two answers. The puzzle is clearly extremely popular, considering the post has more than 2,000 reactions, 67,000 comments, and 2,000 shares. At the POPSUGAR offices, we're also torn and finding these two answers as well.

If you want to drive yourself crazy with another brain teaser, try this one involving fruit from a few months ago.

Before and After: The 1 Change That Helped This Trainer Lose 15 Pounds Fast

Sam was working out five to seven times a week, teaching class at her blossoming studio Cycle & Row in Michigan, and prepping to compete on Jillian Michaels's new show Sweat Inc. Still, she couldn't shed the last 15 pounds she'd been holding on to. "You know your body better than everyone else, and I knew I was bigger than I needed to be. I was thicker than I needed to be," Sam recalled.

Sam had little success with dieting in the past and decided not to go at it alone this time. Instead, she linked up with Ricki Friedman, health coach and creator of Break the Weight, to determine what was holding her back. Since Sam was already incredibly active, her major lifestyle changes needed to happen in the kitchen. In a little over three months and without making a single change to her workout routine, she lost 15 pounds.

A self-described "good eater," Sam dealt with quantity and portion-control issues, often finding herself feeling stuffed after mealtime. "It is especially hard when you are used to being really fit, really active, and you are burning a lot of calories, and you feel like you can eat whatever you want, just like when you were 15 or 16," Sam said. "Our metabolisms are not what they used to be when we were younger." Sam began taking a short walk during and after meals, and health coach Ricki determined the amount of calories Sam needed to eat to support her active lifestyle (around 1,600 each day). Sam also began journaling her food with MyFitnessPal to keep her choices in check. Here's what an average day of meals looks like for Sam:

Breakfast: She used to load up on a big breakfast of nonfat yogurt, oatmeal, nuts, and a banana, but later Sam realized that while all those foods are healthy, it's simply too much. Now, Sam only eats the oatmeal and a small portion of nuts, which keeps her full until lunch.

Lunch: Sam makes her own salad at a local grocery store most days that's 40 percent protein (either salmon or grilled tofu), 40 percent greens, and 20 percent carbs (usually quinoa or sweet potato). She usually dresses her greens in lemon juice and olive oil.

Dinner: If Sam is cooking at home, it's typically salmon or chicken plus a cooked green like brussels sprouts or sautéed spinach. When she doesn't have time to grocery shop, she always has whole-wheat or lentil pasta on hand, so she can whip up dinner quickly. If she's out to a nice dinner, Sam orders fish with double veggies instead of a starch. However, if has been "good and controlled all day," she isn't "crazy picky about dinner."

In her new program, Sam didn't cut out entire food groups or say goodbye to her favorite treats forever. "If I go to a party and all they have is pizza, I have one piece instead of three," Sam explains. "I am a partier, and if there is a pizza party, I am not going to be the girl who says, 'no, I don't eat that.' I had to learn if I am going to have the pizza, how am I going to correct it in other areas?" For Sam and so many other women who want to see a change in their shape, it is all about finding this balance with food. As much as we wish an extra workout session would make up for a ton of indulgent choices, the truth remains: even when you're working out like a badass, abs are made in the kitchen.

Become a Healthy Baker With These Surprising Butter Substitutes

Baking calms the mind and feeds the soul, but all that buttery goodness can pack on the pounds. If you're looking to make healthier baked goods, omitting some or all of the butter from your favorite recipes can greatly reduce the calories, fat, and cholesterol. There are countless ways to replace eggs in recipes, and here are healthier alternatives to using butter (great for vegan bakers, too).

  • Applesauce: Often used to replace oil in recipes, applesauce can also be used as a butter alternative, and it works best in cake-like recipes (like this vegan banana apple chunk bread). Replace half the amount of butter in your recipe with applesauce; if the recipe calls for one cup of butter, use half a cup of butter and half a cup of applesauce. If you don't mind a denser, more moist bread, replace all the butter with applesauce to cut even more calories and fat.
  • Avocado: Substitute half the amount of butter in a baking recipe with mashed avocado (it works well with cookies and quick breads like these pumpkin apple muffins); use the same method as you would when using applesauce. Using avocado not only lowers the calorie content, but also creates a softer, moister baked good, and is perfect if you want to omit the dairy. You can also use avocado in place of butter to make vegan "buttercream" frosting.
  • Earth Balance: Replace all the butter with Earth Balance to reduce saturated fat and cholesterol. Using Smart Balance rather than Earth Balance will also save some calories, and note that Original Smart Balance is now dairy-free!
  • Canola oil: In certain recipes, replacing butter with oil works well, especially if the recipe calls for melted butter. Fiddle with your favorite recipes to figure out when canola works instead of butter; when baking chocolate chip cookies, I've had success substituting half a cup of canola oil for half a cup of unsalted butter. Although slightly higher in calories, canola is much lower in saturated fat, cholesterol, and sodium.
  • Greek yogurt: Replace half the amount of butter in your cookie recipes with half the amount of full-fat plain Greek yogurt. For example, if the recipe calls for one cup of butter, use half a cup of butter and one quarter cup of yogurt. You'll reduce the calories and the saturated fat. Play around with using more yogurt and less butter to see if you still like the taste and consistency. Here are more ways to use Greek yogurt in baking recipes. If you're avoiding dairy, use soy yogurt instead, like this recipe for protein banana bread.
  • Prune purée: Often used to help little ones stay regular, prune purée also makes a low-calorie and low-fat alternative to butter. Whatever amount of butter the recipe calls for, replace it completely with store-bought baby food prune purée (unless you have time to make your own; just purée prunes in the food processor). This option works well in recipes that involve chocolate and cinnamon.
