Circumcising Your Baby Is as Beneficial as a Vaccination - According to This New Study
Whether or not to circumcise their baby boy is something that many new parents discuss, but new research could make this decision much easier.
According to a new study published in the World Journal of Clinical Pediatrics, having a baby boy circumcised is just as beneficial as vaccination in protecting them against severe infection. Australian researchers discovered that not only do the benefits outweigh the risk of this medical procedure by 200 to one, but those who remain uncircumcised have an 80 percent risk of developing a medical problem with their foreskin.
"Over their lifetime more than one in two uncircumcised males will suffer an adverse medical condition caused by their foreskin," said Dr. Brian Morris, University of Sydney professor emeritus and the study's lead author.
The study - conducted by researchers from the University of Sydney, the University of New South Wales and other teaching hospitals - focused on the risk of this medical procedure during infancy as well as how it could prevent a variety of medical issues. These include urinary infections, inflammatory conditions, sexually transmitted infections, and genital cancers.
"The enormous benefit but low risk makes early infant circumcision akin to childhood vaccination," Morris added.
The Front Row at New York Fashion Week Might Just Distract You From the Runway
The runway is the natural place to look when you're at a show, but we would be lying if we said our eyes didn't drift over to the front row. That's where you'll spot actresses, models, and bloggers mingling and giving interviews. Perhaps they're even hoping to find their next big red carpet look. Getting a glimpse of the stars and what they're wearing is almost as exciting as being at the show. As New York Fashion Week races on, we have a feeling this season's front row will be the most stylish one yet. Read on to see who popped up at what show already.
New Dad Is Shamed by Woman For Changing His Daughter in a Parents' Bathroom
New father Damien Leeson was at a shopping center in Queensland, Australia, with his wife and baby daughter, when little Harpah needed a diaper change. Without thinking, Damien took Harpah to the parents' bathroom to change her, and all was well until a woman walked in with her son.
"She looked at me and started laying into me, saying that it was 'disgusting to see a fully-grown man in a parents' room with a little girl,'" Damien told Daily Mail Australia. "She kept saying I was a 'dirty old man.'" Damien told his wife about the exchange and both were shocked by the woman's reaction to the simple act of a father changing his daughter. "How can someone say that to someone who is just looking after their kid?" he said.
Many dads have spoken up lately about equal parenting and not wanting praise for simply taking care of their children, and Damien feels the same way. "I'm quite a hands-on father, whatever I can do to help my wife, I will," he said. "What's a bloke supposed to do anyway if he's a single dad? My point is it's a parents' room, not a mothers' room. There are no change tables in the male bathroom."
Jake Gyllenhaal Could Practically Melt the NYC Snow With His Hot Appearance
Jake Gyllenhaal is heading back to Broadway, and we couldn't be more excited. After giving us a sneak peek at his singing voice, the Sunday in the Park With George star attended the ribbon cutting ceremony for the reopening of the Hudson Theatre, where the musical will be held, in NYC on Wednesday. Aside from making us melt with his gorgeous smile, he also showed off his sweet chemistry with his costar Annaleigh Ashford as the two shared a few laughs during the cast's photo call.
This Is Not a Drill! More Victoria Beckham x Estée Lauder Makeup Is Coming
Victoria Beckham just made our day. We just learned that not only are select pieces from her gorgeous Estée Lauder collaboration coming back for a limited time in March (at esteelauder.com and Net-A-Porter), but also that she is creating new makeup, debuting at New York Fashion Week.
After her successful first run sold out quickly, the celebrity and brand will be re-releasing 10 products. These include face makeup like the Morning Aura Illuminating Creme, Bronzer in Java Sun, and Highlighter in Modern Mercury (a POPSUGAR favorite!). There are also picks for eye, including the Kajal Duo in Black Saffron/Vanille, Ink in Black Myrrh, Foil in Blonde Gold, and Metals Eyeshadow in Bitter Clove. Finally, there are two items for your pout - Lip Gloss in Moroccan Heat and Lipstick in Brazilian Nude. If you live in the UK, you can additionally snag the Daylight Edition Light Box.
But most importantly, there are newbies launching: lipstick in Nude Spice Matte and Bronzer in Saffron Sun. The lipstick is pink nude with a matte finish, and the bronzer is a bit lighter than the original if you have pale skin.
WWD also reports that a second collection will be teased backstage at her eponymous NYFW runway show on Feb. 12. While we do not know much about what's coming next, we can predict it will be chic AF.
"It's important that this is about fashion as well," she told WWD. "Every collection we do I want it to have an element of fashion. Yes it's all very wearable, but I also have fashion in there."
And that's why they call her Posh Spice! We'll keep you updated as we learn more about what's coming next.

Believe It or Not, Instagram's Most Followed Celebrity "Can't Stand Social Media"
Selena Gomez recently sent her legions of loyal fans into a frenzy when she announced her longtime passion project, a TV adaptation of Jay Asher's YA novel 13 Reasons Why, was finally on the way. It turns out that Selena's connection to the upcoming Netflix show is much more personal than some might have previously assumed. On Wednesday, the "Hands to Myself" singer attended a press event for the streaming giant where she revealed production on 13 Reasons Why coincided with her entrance into a rehab facility in October to deal with "anxiety, panic attacks, and depression," and to take a much-needed break from the spotlight.
"I can't stand what they're looking at. I can't stand what they think is reality.""I was actually going through a really difficult time when they started production," she told reporters. "I went away for 90 days and I actually met tons of kids in this place that we're talking about [with] a lot of the issues that these characters are experiencing." The upcoming Netflix drama chronicles what happens after a high school student commits suicide, tackling themes of depression and bullying, especially online. Selena, who is the most followed person on Instagram, was open about how her relationship with social media has changed over the last few months. "It's hard right now. I can't stand social media, I can't stand what they're looking at. I can't stand what they think is reality and the show is real as it could possibly get."
With the show set to premiere in March and her high-profile relationship with The Weeknd going strong, Selena has since stepped back into the world of social media. Although she's yet to tweet, she's been sharing multiple photos on Instagram with her 109 million followers.
Ciara Shows Off Her Growing Baby Bump During an Event With Russell Wilson
Ciara hasn't been shy about showing off her baby bump, and we're loving it. On Wednesday, the singer made a sweet appearance with her husband, Russell Wilson, as they attended the 2017 MAKERS conference in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. While the NFL player looked sharp in a button-down, vest, and dark slacks, his wife accentuated her growing belly with a formfitting white dress and matching jacket. This pregnancy marks the couple's first child, while Ciara is already mom to 2-year-old son Future from her previous relationship with the rapper of the same name.
It Took Keith Urban 4 Months to Finally Call Nicole Kidman After They Met

Nicole stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday and opened up about the night she and Keith first met. After looking back at their very first photo together, the Big Little Lies actress said it took Keith four whole months to even call her. Let's just say, we're really glad he did.

Scarlett Johansson Makes Her First Red Carpet Appearance Since News of Her Split
Scarlett Johansson looked happy and healthy when she attended the amfAR New York Gala on Wednesday. The actress was all smiles as she made her first red carpet appearance since news broke that she was ending her two-year marriage to Romain Dauriac. Although the former couple has appeared in public together since their split, Scarlett's date for the event was extra special: her mom, Melanie Sloan.
During the event, Scarlett opened up about motherhood and how she's been struggling to balance her work life while raising her 2-year-old daughter, Rose, whom she shares with Romain. "I don't profess to know anything about parenting, anything more than anybody else," she said. "[But] being a working mom is an incredible challenge, and it's an incredible gift. I have a lot of huge admiration for working moms. I'm barely, barely holding it together."
Olivia Munn Has Something Important to Say, So Look Closely at Her Swimsuit
Olivia Munn had something to say for her first time playing beer pong. The star geared up for the game with an appropriately labeled one-piece swimsuit that read, "Ride or Die." We're assuming that meant she was ready to win with a partner by her side, though it could also be a total coincidence that the swimsuit happened to match the scene.
The graphic swimsuit is one we've seen on plenty of celebs, such as Hailey Baldwin and Kourtney Kardashian. It looks like last Summer's It piece will stick around for this year too. Though we hope Olivia won the game, in terms of her swim style, there is no match. She's the clear victor.
Selena Gomez's Dress Says a Lot About Her Fashion Week Agenda
While Selena Gomez is in New York promoting her new Netflix series 13 Reasons Why, her outfit suggests she's got a few fashion shows on the agenda. Aside from being perfectly stylish, Selena's ribbed midi and collared shirt combo speaks volumes. It's a look from Victoria Beckham's Pre-Fall collection, and the designer even saluted Selena's ability to pull it off.
Victoria herself has sported the exact same coordinates, only with her signature glove pumps rather than leopard Gianvito Rossi sandals like Selena. While the pieces won't drop until August, Selena and Victoria both prove clothes are becoming seasonless and that Victoria's collections cater to women with different senses of style. In our minds, this can only mean one thing: Selena will be parked up in the front row come Sunday morning when VB unveils her new line.

9 Iconic First Lady Gowns Worth Talking About
Traveling to Washington DC two days after what will surely be the most important election of my lifetime was scary. I'm not going to lie. I heard rallies outside my hotel room all night and passed angry mobs holding signs outside the Trump hotel. But during the day, while Barack Obama met with President-elect Donald Trump inside the White House, the streets were quiet.
I traveled with a small group of editors to the first ladies inaugural dress exhibit at the Smithsonian Museum, and it was only there, in that small, dimly lit room, that I could feel myself starting to relax. The first sign was a poster on the wall that featured a Q&A series: "How will the first ladies collection change when a woman is elected president?" Using the term "when," not "if," instilled hope. Then I veered off, where a short film of Michelle Obama donating her Jason Wu gown to the museum was playing.
So Much More Than a Dress
"This gown is one of the most tangible things I have left to remember that day. At the end of the day today is about much more than this gown. It's also about how with enough focus and determination someone in this room can be the next Jason Wu. Someone can be the next Barack Obama . . . Something you create today can help teach the next generation in a way that nothing else can," Michelle said at the podium.
Her dress was absolutely one of the most intricate on display, what with its Swarovski crystal embellishments and impeccably organized beading. But these dresses I was admiring, some of which dated back to the 1800s, were not made to make the first ladies feel pretty. Each one signified a new beginning.
"Inaugurations are times of optimism . . . In addition to attending ceremonies and balls, incoming first ladies announce the agendas and special projects they intend to pursue. Some projects are ambitious. Some are traditional. Some may be controversial," read a sign on the wall.
Just like the fashion choices they make. And it's true: every first lady was scrutinized for her style, even if she wasn't viewed as an icon. But it was the choices she made in that suit, the momentous speech she gave in that ballgown, that we'll remember. If a floor-sweeping dress is one way to preserve these memories, why not learn everything we can about it? Why not try to understand why Michelle wore white or Lady Bird Johnson chose a simple yellow sheath?
The Legacy, The Future
As I traveled around the exhibit, reading about each gown and the woman who wore it, I passed a very young girl staring up at a picture of Michelle and Barack Obama on Inauguration Day. "Who's that?" her mother asked her, pointing up at a glowing Michelle. "It's the president! They're both presidents!" she screamed.
The first female president will not be sworn in on January 20. In fact, the Smithsonian Museum will make space for one more dress as Melania Trump accepts her role as FLOTUS. But until then, let's consider the takeaways I learned about the first ladies who stood before her.
Each of the facts ahead is proof that these strong women, from Lady Bird Johnson and Jackie Kennedy to Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama, were compassionate. They thought of function first, then fashion. They embraced the spotlight, not because of what they were wearing, but because of the confidence they felt when wearing it. All of the women I learned about were leaders. They had what it takes to lead a nation, and one day, a lady as determined as them will. When you're finished reading, I think you'll agree.
So THIS Is What Those All-Purple Spotify Ads Really Mean
Spotify takeover in Union Square, no ads just purple... http://pic.twitter.com/WeIcgQ1JYs
- Andy Thompson (@officiallyrad) January 30, 2017
If you've encountered one of Spotify's advertisements within the last week, chances are you scratched your head and assumed they were unfinished. The ads feature a bright purple hue with no words except the streaming service's logo in the corner. They've recently flooded cities like New York and London, leaving people wondering: What's the deal? What on earth is this even promoting?
An intriguing purple @Spotify banner has appeared at London's Spitalfields Market @Goodstuffers @TalonOOH @InfinityOutdoor ??? http://pic.twitter.com/DXaBsth59z
- Roy Shepherd (@OOH_Roy) January 30, 2017
It turns out they might be alluding to the music service nabbing the streaming rights to Prince's jams. This isn't the first time we've heard buzz about the late singer's music being released to streaming services; Billboard reports that Spotify's ads are likely hinting at his music becoming available by the time of his Grammys tribute on Feb. 12, 2017. Prince and the color purple go together like peanut butter and jelly, so these ads really couldn't be making it any more obvious.
We reached out to a Spotify representative for comment but have not received confirmation on the speculations yet. While we await their response, we're crossing our fingers that we can soon jam to "Little Red Corvette" on our morning commute.

8 Major Things You Can Expect to See in Fifty Shades Darker
It feels like it's been forever since Fifty Shades of Grey hit theaters, leaving a massive hole in our lives because we didn't get to see Christian Grey chase after Anastasia Steele after she shouted "No!" before those elevator doors closed. And with days to go until the franchise's second installment, Fifty Shades Darker, comes out, that satisfying feeling of seeing Jamie Dornan on the big screen again is getting closer by the hour. While the first movie just scratched the surface of the complex emotions behind Christian's beautiful eyes (and controlling behavior), Darker will give new meaning to the phrase, "What the actual f*ck." We've already seen tons of steamy set photos and trailers, but just in case you need more to satisfy your "nonvanilla" craving until then, here are eight major things that you expect to see in Darker.
1. Ana and Christian's lives fall apart without each other. While the end of Fifty Shades of Grey left fans (who didn't read the books) with a bit of hope that Christian might stop the elevator and make things right again, that's not at all what happens. Ana and Christian don't speak for days after she leaves, which causes both of their lives to slightly unravel. Ana starts her new job as a personal assistant to Jack Hyde, a big-time book publisher, but her grief causes her to stop eating, lose weight, and not properly function in everyday life.
2. They then get back together. After Ana and Christian both attend a photo gallery exhibit for her friend José (the one that has a massive crush on her), they kiss in an alleyway and pick up right where they left off.
3. Christian screws with Ana's career. Throughout their romance, Ana insists that she wants to make her own way in the publishing word without relying on Christian or his money. So when he buys the company that she currently works for because he doesn't trust Jack (he also freezes the company's accounts so Ana and Jack can't go on a business trip together), Ana is furious.
4. Christian's instincts about Jack turn out to be spot on. It becomes clear very quickly that Jack is an inappropriate and dangerous boss. In addition to continuously asking Ana out for after-work drinks and making her uncomfortable by invading her personal space, he also ends up cornering her in their office one night to try and blackmail her. He presents her with her personal emails with Christian that she sent on her work computer and threatens to expose her if she doesn't give him sexual favors. He then assaults her before she manages to escape. Christian has him fired and confiscates his work computer.
5. We finally meet "Mrs. Robinson." Elena Lincoln, who will be played by Kim Basinger, comes face to face with Ana when they all attend a masquerade ball at the Grey's house together. When Elena finally realizes that Christian is in love with Ana and doesn't see her as just a submissive, she becomes short with Ana and tries to sabotage their romance out of jealousy.
6. A dangerous stalker is thrown into the mix. While Jack presents his own problems for Ana, it's one of Christian's former submissives, Leila Williams (played by Bella Heathcote), that really takes things up a notch in Darker. After Leila's boyfriend dies in a car crash, she has a mental breakdown and becomes obsessed with Ana and her former relationship with Christian. She begins to stalk Ana and eventually breaks into her apartment and threatens her at gunpoint. Christian shows up and talks her down, but the whole situation has Ana worried that Christian won't be satisfied with their "vanilla" relationship.
7. Christian proposes to Ana. When Christian fears Ana may be leaving him again, he quickly proposes to her. She says she needs time to think about it and he leaves on a business trip in his helicopter, Charlie Tango. The helicopter then disappears from radar and Christian is missing for several hours, but when he returns to his apartment safely, he tells his family that both the helicopter's engines failed and he thinks someone was trying to kill him. Because Ana thought he had died, she realizes she wants to be with him forever and accepts his proposal.
8. Jack Hyde is not done. After Ana accepts Christian's proposal, his family throws him a party for his 28th birthday at their home. Jack, however, is watching the entire thing from outside, and in addition to revealing he sabotaged the helicopter, he also swears revenge on Christian because they are connected in more ways than one.

The 1 Way Joe Biden Knew He Raised a Strong, Empowered Daughter
There's a certain look that overcomes a proud father's face whenever he sees his little girl - when Joe Biden glances at his daughter, Ashley, he radiates undeniable joy.
Although Ashley is now 35 years old, she continues to amaze her dad, and he isn't shy about expressing exactly how he feels. This father of three can confidently recognize that his little girl has blossomed into a strong role model, thanks to some advice from his own dad.
"My dad used to have an expression: you know that you're a success as a parent when you turn and look at your children and realize that they've turned out better than you," Joe said at an event celebrating the launch of Ashley's charitable apparel line, Livelihood. "I can say without fear or contradiction that my son Beau, who we lost, was better than me; my son Hunter, who is still here running the family, is better than me; and my daughter Ashley's commitment to public service and her commitment to try and change the world for the better is more intense than even mine has been."
From the time that Ashley was born, her dad was a United States senator. Joe said she used to come to him and say, "I don't know what I'm going to do, Dad." To this simple question, the former vice president would respond with another of his dad's favorite expressions. "It's a lucky person who wakes up in the morning, puts both feet on the floor, knows what they're about to do, and thinks it still matters. There are a lot of people who are very successful, but after five, 10, 15 years of doing what they're doing, they no longer think that it matters that much," Joe said. "A purpose in life is a life that will make you extremely happy."
Now that his daughter has not only found her passion in social work but also continues to fearlessly pursue it, this dad knows that he and Dr. Jill Biden have given their child the priceless gift of strength.

500 Amazing Korean Beauty Products Are Coming to Nordstrom - but There's a Catch
If you're a diehard fan of K-beauty, you know that it's become easier to shop these kitschy and effective products in recent years. However, it's a frustrating fact that many of the best and coolest items are still nigh impossible to find stateside. Starting Feb. 10, the team at Nordstrom will be offering more than a whopping 500 Korean beauty products as part of a special pop-up shop.
You'll have heard of a few of the brands included before - such as Too Cool For School and Chosungah 22 – but many of the participating companies are making their North American debut. Sheet masks, jelly shadows, skin swabs, accessories, and even men's grooming products will be available for purchase. The shop itself will feature that fun and funky K-beauty aesthetic, too, with fuzzy pink yoga balls and floor-length mirrors.
According to a representative for Nordstrom, the retailer already carries some Korean beauty brands, but this pop-up functions as a testing ground for new potential offerings. So if you love one of the new products, be sure to stock up before March 26, the final day of the pop-up. This will signal to Nordstrom's buyers that it's worthy of becoming a staple of the beauty department!
The pop-up shop will only be in seven retail locations (Seattle; Bellevue, WA; Dallas; Los Angeles; Chicago; Vancouver, B.C., Canada; and Toronto), but thankfully, we'll all be able to get the full K-beauty experience online at Nordstrom.com/POP. Read on to get a closer look at some of the exciting products that you'll be able to shop come Feb. 10 . . . and brace your wallet for some serious spending!
Have Pizza Anytime With Homemade Dough
If I had to choose a last meal, it would be pizza. I'm not talking about greasy, cheesy, heavy delivery pizza (which even I can admit is good once in a while). No, I'd choose a pizza made from scratch with the simplest of toppings.
I'm a die-hard pizza lover, so it's never a happy day when I realize I'm out of store-bought dough (which I've stashed away in the freezer in case of pizza emergencies). This was a dilemma I faced over and over, until I learned from Deb that pizza dough is actually incredibly easy to make.
Sure, it takes some time and patience (and overcoming the all-too-common fear of yeast), but the ability to have a meal from just a bit of flour, yeast, and water is completely liberating. It's a great feeling to not have to depend on store-bought dough to get your pizza fix.
What's more is that you can freeze the dough and take it out in the morning, let it thaw all day, and you'll have a fast, easy, and impressive meal ready to go when you get home from work. Find this simple recipe when you keep reading.

Tighten Your Core and Tone Your Back With Arm Circle Planks
Take your core-strengthening planks to the next level while toning your arms and back - you're going to feel the burn with this move!
Meet the arm circle plank. Barry's Bootcamp trainer Tommy Stracke loves incorporating this plank variation into his workouts and his clients' workouts because it gives the abs an added challenge beyond the standard plank. "It creates instability, which challenges your core muscles and helps you gain strength and balance," he said. Here's how to do it:
- In a plank position, reach your left arm back and then circle it overhead, bringing your palm back to the floor; repeat on the other side. This counts as one rep.
- Complete five to eight reps, keeping the core stable and the belly button pulled up toward the spine.
- The wider your feet are, the more stable you will be. Do not let your pelvis drift toward the ceiling.

Backstage, which took place in a parking garage set up with vanities and dressing rooms, Gigi, her sister Bella Hadid, and friends like Joan Smalls, Hailey Baldwin, and Devon Windsor got prepped for the show, where the idea wasn't to cover up or change the women's natural beauty. Think fresh-faced makeup with hair that fit each woman's personality.
"The look is very fresh, very natural, an enhancement of their own beauty," celebrity makeup artist (and legend) Pat McGrath told us. "A little contour around the eye, a little Skin Fetish on the cheekbones, beautiful mascara on the lashes, very softly done, and lip balm on the lips!" The models also had their cupid's bow and the bridge of their nose highlighted as well to keep the look "fresh." Tommy and Gigi's direction was to make the girls appear to be glowing. "But no fake tan, but just 'healthy,'" Pat said.
"Everyone's really different. We're working with who the girls are, what their natural texture is, and all we're really doing is enhancing what they have and making the quality of the hair feel more premium," said Eugene Souleiman, global creative director of care and styling for Wella Professionals. "It's really very simple. There are girls with really straight hair, mixed-raced girls with very curly hair, there's fros, there's beachy waves. It's all going on, but I guess that's the idea. For me, I want every girl to look really pretty. It's kind of like a pop-up salon backstage at a fashion show." It should be noted, though, that some of the models did get tracks of hair extensions added to their hair for length.
While the beauty look was pretty minimal, the nails included some fun flair. International celebrity manicurist Mar y Sol Inzerillo explained that gold and silver stars were drawn freehand on the nail, over clear polish, to create the appearance that they were floating. The toes were painted bronze.

Lady Gaga Graces the Front Row at a Fashion Show After Her Epic Super Bowl Gig
Lady Gaga popped up in the front row of Tommy Hilfiger's Spring 2017 runway show in LA on Wednesday night. The "Million Reasons" singer, who made headlines with her amazing Super Bowl halftime show performance earlier in the week, stunned in a sequin-covered ensemble and bold brow makeup and posed for photos with Yolanda Hadid, whose model daughters Gigi and Bella stomped the runway. Gaga is likely staying close to home in LA ahead of the Grammys this weekend; while she isn't nominated for any awards, she is set to hit the stage with Metallica for a duet.
It's been a huge week for Gaga, who not only nailed her Super Bowl gig but also announced her world tour and an upcoming wine brand and dropped a truly entertaining video for her new single, "John Wayne." Unfortunately, Gaga also had to face haters who both body shamed her and accused her of "stealing" elements of her Super Bowl performance from Pink. Gaga gave an eloquent response to her critics, saying, "I'm proud of my body and you should be proud of yours too," while Pink herself shot back at the copycat claims: "Who cares if I flew first?"
Tommy Hilfiger's Collection Confirms 2017 Looks a Lot Like the Early 2000s
How's this for a twist - Tommy Hilfiger kicked off the Fashion Week calendar in LA, bringing supermodels to the West Coast by Air Tommy for his Spring 2017 show. The designer produced another high-stakes spectacle, where megastars are the front-row norm and a musical act is just part of the runway, apparently. Fresh from the Super Bowl, Lady Gaga showed up in a bodysuit (all the better to show off your stems while sitting front row), while Fergie stuck around to serenade the crowd after the show wrapped. That's just par for the course in Tommy Land - complete with carnival games, food trucks, and a monster slide.
But since you're probably wondering about the actual fashion show - Gigi Hadid opened the show, then closed it with sister Bella, to the tune of "California Love" and Bruno Mars's "24K Magic." Tommy didn't deviate far from his usual Americana. Plenty of sporty staples, stripes, colorblocking, and varsity sweaters, emblazoned with the brand's eponymous "H," were the core of the collection. American flag motifs worked into patchwork and printed on maxi dresses had a nostalgic quality, as did Tommy's signature colorblock crop tops and button-downs, as seen on Joan Smalls. In fact, in Tommy Land, 2017 looks a lot like the early 2000s. Read on for the details.

28 Things You Should Eat and Drink in Colombia
The coffee alone was enough to convince me to go to Colombia, but it was the food that wowed me even beyond my expectations. I spent five days in Colombia with Nescafé Taster's Choice to learn about the process of growing coffee, and in between caffeinated sips I managed to stuff my face with a variety of South American cuisine, ranging from traditional to fusion, both at restaurants and on the street. If you're planning a trip to Colombia (and I highly recommend that you do!), here are some of my picks for Colombian foods and drinks you should try!
We Tried the Oreo Beer Everyone's Talking About, and This Is What Happened
Photo styling inspired by Beer Street Journal
After we picked our jaws up off the floor after learning about Oreo beer, our first reaction was to seek it out and try it for ourselves. Would it taste like actual Oreos?! We anticipated that it would, since the beer is made from actual Oreos. "We took our 7 percent robust chocolate milk stout Hornswoggler and conditioned it on hundreds of pounds of Oreo cookies. If you like Oreo cookies, this is a must try," The Veil Brewing Company of Richmond, VA, said in an Instagram post about its cookie-filled creation.
So, like the Oreo fanatics that we are, the POPSUGAR Food editors grabbed a package of Double Stuf Oreos and poured ourselves a glass of the Hornswoggler Oreo Stout, crossing our fingers that the two would taste nearly identical. Getting tipsy from drinking liquified Oreos is the dream, right? We took our first sip, and a few of us simultaneously had one reaction: "Coffee!" The dark beer has an intensely strong espresso flavor, and it's similar to a bitter coffee stout. What we weren't getting was the chocolaty note or, more importantly, the presence of Oreos. We did get a slight hint of Oreos and vanilla in the scent of the beer, though. It's entirely possible we didn't get as much of an Oreo-forward flavor because the beer was shipped to us and therefore was not consumed immediately. "We suggest consuming this beer as fresh as possible for the most intense Oreo character possible," the brewery explained in its Instagram photo.
That's not to say that we were disappointed by the beer. If you're a stout drinker, you'll undoubtedly appreciate the robustness of this beer and enjoy its rich, smooth flavor and mocha-like aftertaste. However, you'll have to wait until Veil decides to brew another batch if you want to get a taste. The cans are now sold out and the brewery only had the beer on tap for a limited time. But not to worry. If you're like us, you'll just stick to the obvious solution: eating Double Stuf Oreos with the beer (or wine) of your choice.

Also on the menu: bubble waffle cones with ice cream scoops in fascinating flavors like Dark and Snowy (chocolate-and-banana ice cream in a black ash waffle cone) and U-be Trippin' (Earl Grey ice cream, animal crackers, and an ube waffle). Not pictured: AffoTHAIgo-a (hot Thai tea poured over ice cream and waffle cones).
