These Are the "Quirkiest" Baby Names in Each State
Although I've had plenty of personal battles with having the name "Alessia," no one's ever called my name "quirky." Unique and unusual, yes; but quirky, no. However, according to a recent deep dive by Nameberry into the rare names that are over-represented in each US state, my name is Connecticut's own "quirkiest" girls' name.
The report, which lists the most popular rare names in each of the 50 states (as well as in Washington DC) was compiled by taking a look at every first name given to at least 100 babies in 2015 and the percentage of babies with that name born in every state.

Everything You Should Know About Wine-Infused Coffee, the Hybrid of Your Dreams
On particularly rough mornings, we're often faced with a tough choice: coffee or wine? And thanks to a new, wine-infused coffee from a Napa Valley company, we can have the best of both worlds without being judged. What exactly is wine-infused coffee? The Molinari Private Reserve makes wine-infused coffee ($20 for a half-pound bag) by letting coffee beans sit in a bath of red wine, absorbing its flavors. The beans are then dried and hand-roasted in small batches and packaged for sale. From there, you brew the coffee as you would any regular blend, and you can drink it black, cold, in a latte, or as espresso, or you can use it as a rub. Yes, it's alcohol free, but the essence of wine still comes through.
Image Source: POPSUGAR Photography / Sheila Gim
This coffee took two years to develop, and it's the first of its kind. While Molinari is not a winery itself, it uses a house red wine created exclusively for Molinari by local Napa Valley wineries. Adding milk to the wine-infused coffee brings out the wine more, while drinking it black from a French press "emphasizes the blueberry essence," the company claims. We have a feeling the full-bodied, fruity coffee would be perfect with an after-dinner chocolaty dessert, too. You can find the bags of coffee at Molinari Caffe, Robert Mondavi Winery, Franciscan Estate Winery, JCB Wines, and online, but it's currently out of stock. However, Molinari Reserve assures its eager customers that it's stocking up ASAP.
In that case, we'll take another cup, please!
Jason Momoa and Emilia Clarke's Cutest Friendship Moments
Jason Momoa's Game of Thrones character, Khal Drogo, hasn't been on the show since the end of season one, but he's still very much . . . around. In addition to Khal still holding a special place in the heart of his onscreen wife, Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), Jason and the actress are also good friends in real life. When they're not hitting red carpets together or casually hanging out away from the spotlight, Jason is usually posting something about "the moon of my life" on Instagram, frequently sharing screenshots of Emilia kicking ass on the show. While their Game of Thrones romance was a bit controversial, there is not one thing about their adorable real-life friendship that we don't love.

We Will Never Get Over Queen Letizia and King Felipe VI's Wedding
On May 22, 2004, we were glued to our television, hoping to get a glimpse of Letizia Ortiz, now the queen of Spain, in her gorgeous wedding gown. Even in our craziest Disney-princess-inspired dreams, we could have never imagined the stunning silk-woven dress and 15-foot train designed by couturier Manuel Pertegaz. The way it wrapped the stylish bride's slim body and moved as she walked down the aisle to meet then-Prince Felipe VI at the altar left us in awe.
Twelve years later, we're not over that moment and often find ourselves looking back at photos of the big day when the oh-so-in-love royals tied the knot at the Cathedral Santa María la Real de la Almudena in Madrid, Spain. Now, you can do the same - just keep scrolling to relive the event.
8 Beauty and the Beast Adaptations to Watch Before the New Movie
Over the past few years, Disney has transformed some of our favorite animated classics into live-action blockbusters. After the success of films such as Cinderella, Alice Through the Looking Glass, and The Jungle Book, Disney set their sights on Beauty and the Beast. The remake, which will be released on March 17, features a star-studded cast including Emma Watson, Kevin Kline, Ewan McGregor, Stanley Tucci, Ian McKellen, and Josh Gad. Furthermore, the soundtrack will include a duet by John Legend and Ariana Grande and an original song by Celine Dion. While the film will no doubt be magical, this isn't the first time that the Beauty and the Beast fairy tale has been adapted. Read our list of other onscreen versions you may want to check out!
Here's What Happens in Kong: Skull Island's Crazy Postcredits Scene
Major spoilers for Kong: Skull Island below!
Kong: Skull Island swings into theaters on Friday, but when the credits start to roll, make sure you stick around. King Kong might not be a superhero, per sé, but Warner Bros. has nestled a pretty theory-heavy postcredits scene à la Marvel and DC at the conclusion of the film. If it means what we think it does, it could be a total game changer for the budding Kong franchise.
After the credits, a voice-over from Tom Hiddleston's character, tracker James Conrad, plays over a black screen: "Why are you sitting in the darkness? Are you enjoying this?" At first it seems like he's cheekily addressing the eager audience who's been waiting eons for the credits finish scrolling, but then the scene opens on Conrad angrily pounding on a one-way mirror in a nondescript interrogation room, while two mysterious figures (that only the audience can see) observe him from behind it. Joining him in the room is Brie Larson's Mason Weaver, a war photographer who accompanied Conrad on the expedition to Skull Island. They're dressed in the same clothes they were wearing when the cavalry finally arrives and whisks them away from Kong's dangerous island home at the end of the movie, so it's fair to assume that not much time has passed between scenes.
Conrad promises their unknown keepers that they "won't tell the Russians" about what they've seen before Houston Brooks (Corey Hawkins) and San (Tian Jing) - two scientists who were also part of their Skull Island expedition team - walk in. Brooks reveals that they're actually in Project Monarch headquarters (a top-secret government organization that was first introduced in 2014's Godzilla, and is to the "MonsterVerse" what S.H.I.E.L.D. is to superheroes). Once they promise to never reveal what happened to them or their ill-fated comrades on Skull Island, Brooks and San explain that Monarch needs their help. You see, Kong is not "the only King" out there, and they have proof. Throughout their explanation, slides featuring primitive cave drawings of creatures that sure look a lot like Mothra and Rodan appear on screen, as well as images of the nuclear explosions responsible for Godzilla's creation. The last of the images shows Godzilla facing off against a winged hydra (presumably King Ghidorah), neatly setting up the Godzilla sequel starring Vera Farmiga, Millie Bobby Brown, and Kyle Chandler.
With Godzilla: King of Monsters not due out until 2019, we have quite a while to wait until a rematch of 1962's King Kong vs. Godzilla plays out on the big screen.

This Intense Workout Will Get You the Body You Want
Not every workout has to be a no-holds-barred sweat fest, but we're not going to lie: those days when you crush it at the gym are the ones that are going to help you see results fast. So pound that pre-workout shake, and take this hour-long workout with you the next time you want an effective workout.
The intense workout is one of The Biggest Loser: Australia trainer Michelle Bridges's secrets for burning calories fast, and it's not for beginners. This particular workout from Michelle's book Total Body Transformation ($17) comes at weeks nine and 10 of her 12-week plan, so if you're new to the gym, then start off slow, modify, or try one of our beginner-friendly workouts instead. If you're up for a challenge, however, check out the workout below, learn the moves, print the workout, and get ready to burn calories and boost your metabolism.
To start, do a warmup: three minutes on the rowing machine, ending with a 500-meter (1/3-mile) sprint. Follow it up with 20 minutes on the treadmill (Michelle recommends 5 to 6 mph at 2 percent incline for 20 minutes or 10 minutes at 5 to 6 mph and 2 percent incline followed by 10 minutes at 3.5 mph at 12 percent incline.) Aim to get your heart rate up to 150 bpm by the end of your warmup. Then follow with these two circuits below, repeating each circuit three times. End with a cooldown stretch.
This workout is made for the gym, but you can modify any of these moves to suit the equipment you have at home (jog in place or use dumbbells in place of the barbell, for example).
Every Detail We Have About Disney's Live-Action Aladdin Movie
Once we finally calmed down after hearing that Disney is in the process of rebooting Aladdin with a live-action film (à la the new Beauty and the Beast), we realized we have quite a few questions. Who can possibly fill Robin Williams's shoes? Will the musical numbers be just as magical? And how, exactly, are they going to handle the talking parrot?
The Story
So far, not much is known about the new story. Although we're sure it'll follow the same basic plot of a young thief who meets a magical Genie who grants him three wishes, it's been described as "nontraditional" and "nonlinear," so at the very least we can expect the remake to take a few liberties with the 1992 animated classic.
The Cast
It looks like Disney is trying to avoid the accusations of whitewashing in which projects like Ghost in the Shell and Iron Fist are currently embroiled, and is instead staying true to the Middle Eastern source material; the 1992 film takes place in the fictional Arabian city of Agrabah, and the original folk tale sees Aladdin as a thief in Baghdad, Iraq. No one has officially been crowned as Aladdin or Jasmine yet, but a flier advertising a casting call is making the rounds on Twitter that specifies actors should be Middle Eastern, between the ages of 18 and 25, and have the ability to sing and dance.
As far as casting the Genie, Robin Williams's will has a clause preventing Disney from using his Genie voice in any future productions (that means we won't have to endure a movie featuring a CGI Genie floating around and singing with Williams's disembodied vocals). The character's magic lamp is still vacant at this point, but might we suggest James Monroe Iglehart? He won a Tony Award and Drama Desk Award for originating the Genie role in the Broadway version of Aladdin, and would be the perfect successor to Williams.
The Production Team
Director Guy Ritchie is known for his snappy, stylized approach to films like Sherlock Holmes and The Man From U.N.C.L.E., so we're excited to see what he brings to the table. Dan Lin (who worked with Ritchie on Sherlock Holmes) is producing via his Lin Pictures banner, along with executive producer Jonathan Eirich. John August is penning the script, which sources told The Hollywood Reporter "keeps many of the musical elements of the original."
No information has been announced about a release date, so stay tuned!

All the Reasons I Loved Eating Paleo (and the Reason I Decided to Stop)
Over the years, I've allowed myself to be a guinea pig when it comes to diet trends; I've gone pescatarian, vegetarian, vegan, and most recently, Paleo. Based on the dietary habits of our cave-dwelling ancestors, the Paleo diet has continued to gain popularity within health circles, especially CrossFit enthusiasts. This high-protein, low-carb diet strictly prohibits foods like grains, beans, wheat, and dairy and has been linked to story after story of successful weight loss and the elimination of digestive issues. After months of wavering back and forth, I decided to take the plunge, clean up my diet, and embark on a short Paleo project.
Each stint in a different diet has taught me something, but I can say with complete sincerity that my Paleo experiment had profound effects on my relationships with food and my body . . . but I couldn't stick with it forever.
What I Loved
I Stopped Stressing About Calories
As someone who had been a slave to counting calories in the past, I found new freedom in taking the focus off of the numbers and on to the ingredients. By default, I was consuming higher-quality, whole foods on the Paleo diet. Not only did I lose weight, but I felt energized from the inside out. Today, I still consider calories when making food choices, but going Paleo helped me realize that calories are not always king - and they're certainly not the only thing you should be considering when planning meals.
I Achieved a New Level of Body Awareness
As an avid yogi, I always considered myself to be hyperaware of how food relates to my energy levels and mental clarity. But it only took one week on the Paleo program to see just how strong of a connection exists between diet and workout performance. Before going Paleo, dairy and grains were part of most meals, leading to major belly bloat every day. Yes, different foods do different things to different people, but after going through a small elimination period, I was able to scale back on the foods that were weighing me down.
I Started Treating Food as Fuel
In my teenage and college years, I had a serious love-hate relationship with food. Meals regularly felt like battles, and I achieved a false sense of control wavering back and forth all day between periods of fasting and binging, wreaking havoc on my health, my energy, and, not to mention, my metabolism. I've come a long way from those days, but taking on a rigid clean-eating program helped me embrace my food in a whole new way.
For the first time in my life, I was not a member of the clean-plate club. During my Paleo experiment, I never left a meal feeling stuffed and started finding smaller portions more satisfying. The project also forced me to take stock of just how much of my diet had relied on wheat, grain, and dairy products - and how my body feels different when I scale back those foods. Almost out of nowhere, it happened. I was practicing what I had been preaching: I officially grasped the concept that food is not standing in my way; it's helping me function at my top potential.
I Got Back in the Kitchen
I've always loved cooking, but with a full-time gig and a serious workout schedule, all of my social engagements and catch-up sessions with friends revolved around dinners out. Taking on a Paleo experiment meant I was going to have to spend a lot more time in my kitchen to prepare Paleo-friendly meals, but I was up for the task.
The first day I went overboard. I decided to prepare four over-the-top, labor-intensive recipes I had spent hours looking for on Pinterest . . . on one Sunday afternoon. Once I got that stressful experience out of my system, I learned how to prep meals in advance and throw together an easy breakfast or supper at home. While I still enjoy the occasional meal out during the week, a lot more of my weeknights are spent cooking with friends in my kitchen.
Why I Stopped
I have many friends who have found success with a Paleo lifestyle, but most of them take an 80/20 approach to the program; 80 percent of the time you follow all Paleo rules, and 20 percent of the time you have the freedom to indulge as you please. Some people thrive in this system of clear-cut rules, but my Paleo experience solidified a fact I've known about myself for a long time: I am just not one of those people.
When someone tells me I can't eat something, it's all I can think about, and then I would eat it. A lot of it. Since I've struggled with food in the past, it's important for me to feel like I have options. While eliminating certain food groups from my diet helped me achieve a new sense of body awareness, I didn't like that some foods were strictly off-limits in the Paleo diet. According to trainers Chris and Heidi Powell, "Anytime you deprive yourself of food . . . all you want is what you can't have," and for me, this could not be more true.
Now, I'm eating in a way that supports my needs, tastes delicious, and keeps me satisfied. I don't eat bread, pasta, and pizza every day, but when I'm craving it or it's a special occasion, I eat what I want - when I want! - in moderation instead of binging later. Without all the strict diet restrictions comes a more relaxed and balanced relationship with food that naturally aligns with the rest of the relationships in my life. My days of mindlessly scarfing down a big baguette with butter or a huge pizza are long behind me, and I credit my Paleo experiment with this newfound natural balance. It's a priceless and delicious gift I never anticipated receiving from the cavemen.
Who Loves Orange Soda? Hi-Chew Throws It Back to the '90s With Its Latest Fizzy Flavors
Hi-Chew gave us the heads up that it's releasing an exciting new flavor: Fizzies ($3). According to the email press release, the package, out March 6, contains "two nostalgic flavors, Cola and Orange Soda" thanks to the "'90s making a comeback." The cola flavor offers "real cola flavor with hints of vanilla and cherry" with a "slight effervescent texture on your tongue" as you chew. As for the orange soda, Hi-Chew promises a "perfect balance of citrusy sweetness and tang." But what do they actually taste like? We tried the flavors out and gave them a perfect score. Here's why:
These Hi-Chews capture the spirit of classic soda flavors without tasting artificial. The cola flavor tastes more like tart cherry, and though we couldn't detect the fizzy effervescence, it didn't take away from the deliciousness of the candy. The orange soda is more like Tang with its tart finish. Overall, Hi-Chew fans said they actually preferred these to the original flavors! Of the two soda flavors, the cola is preferred. One taster said, "It's like the gummy Cokes but they last longer. It's like drinking a Coke without a Coke. Very Willy Wonka!"
Forget Fussy French Twists - This Effortlessly Cool "Banana Bun" Is Perfect For Lazy Girls
While french twists have been around for as long as we can remember, that doesn't mean they're old-fashioned. There's something about them that's always seemed so elegant. The look is perfect for weddings and formal events, but now, we've found a way to relax the traditional style and incorporate it into our everyday routine. Meet the banana bun: the loose, low hairstyle that takes your typical messy chignon a whole new level of chicness.
When it comes to this look, the messier it is, the better. According to Matrix SoColor celebrity stylist George Papanikolas, it works best on second- or third-day hair. "The dirt and grit gives the hair more texture," he explained. He recommends spritzing your strands with a dry shampoo for even more texture - try Matrix Style Link Mineral Play Back Dry Shampoo ($18).
Executing the look itself is simple. Put your hair up into a loose low ponytail, using bobby pins to pin strands up and into the into the pony."The pony will act as an anchor to you," shared Papanikolas.
The banana bun embraces flyaways and uncooperative strands (making it fabulous for humid days when your hair just won't cooperate). The styling possibilities are endless, too: you can wear it in the middle of your head, lower down by your neck, or even to the side. After initially spotting the trend on Byrdie, we knew we had to try this for ourselves.

Try to Read This List of '90s Boy Bands Without Saying "I Totally Forgot About Them"
Matching outfits. Cheesy group photos. Frosted tips - there's so much about '90s boy bands to be thankful for. While posters of *NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, or Boyz II Men might have gotten the choice spots on my bedroom wall (who wouldn't want Lance Bass watching them sleep?), there are some groups from that particular decade who need a little bit more love, in my humble opinion. Although some from of those aforementioned bands have gone on to see solo stardom (you know who you are), let's pour one out for the groups who might not be ruling the charts anymore but still hold a special, nostalgic place in our hearts. That's right: O-Town, LFO, and even 2Ge+Her (yes, EVEN 2GE+HER).

Ed Sheeran on His Friendship With Taylor Swift: I Will "Always" Stick Up For Her
Ed Sheeran is basically taking over the world in 2017. In addition to his smash hit "Shape of You," his new album Divide, and his romance with Cherry Seaborn, the singer also graces the cover of Rolling Stone's latest issue. While Ed looks incredibly cute on the cover (with that facial scar and all), his accompanying interview is what really caught our attention. He opens up about everything from his friendship with Taylor Swift (she says Ed is "the James Taylor to my Carole King and I can't imagine a time when he wouldn't be") to why he's not that into being famous. See his best quotes below.
- On longtime pal Taylor Swift: "She would be there if everything ended for me. Taylor is kind of an anomaly in that sense. She's omnipresent because she's the most famous woman in the world, so she can't make the decision to not be in the press. I always stick up for Taylor."
- On hooking up with some of Taylor's famous friends: "Taylor's world is celebrity. I was this 22-year-old awkward British kid going on tour with the biggest artist in America who has all these famous mates. It was very easy. I would often find myself in situations just kind of waking up and looking over and being like, 'How the f*ck did that happen?'"
- On those rumors that he and Taylor dated: "I found that aspect quite lazy journalism. There wasn't any truth to it whatsoever."
- On his girlfriend, Cherry Seaborn: "It's awesome meeting famous people. But that's not life. That's not reality. One day this will f*cking end. And I know the one person that's going to remain constant is Cherry. I should just enjoy this while it's there, but not let it become my reality. Because that's not the reality I want to live in. One of the main points of being in a relationship with me, you have to be really f*cking sociable and good at talking to people, because I will be dragged away loads at parties and events. And Cherry's perfect at it. She makes friends with everyone."
- On losing friends after becoming famous: "The Forbes list actually f*cked it up," he said, referring to when they reported that he made $57 million in 2015. "I was getting texts from people with pictures of cars going, 'I'd like this for my birthday, please. This one's only .06 percent of your annual income.'"
- On how rapping to Eminem helped his stutter as a kid: "You'd put your hand up and not be able to speak. And kids are cruel. So once that would happen, someone would imitate it. And then you'd be like, 'I'm not going to put my hand up next time.'"
- On assembling a new boy band: "Superpop, but obviously credible. I'm gonna put three or four boys together and do all the songs, take them on the stadium tour with me."
- On his attitude toward playing weddings: "I always say, 'It's free if I'm free.' As long as you sort me out with a lot of booze and a bed, I'm there."
- On ignoring his critics: "I could give a f*ck about what people think. Anytime anyone has a problem with me, I'm just like, 'My heroes like me. The people I started music for are fans of my music. So why the f*ck would I care about what anyone else thinks?'"
- On his red hair: "Most ginger-haired people I know are very outgoing and comedic. They basically say the joke before you can. Like, my first album is orange. There's a reason it's orange - I'm getting there before you can."
- On wondering whether he drinks too much: "Often, I'm like, 'Is it bad that I drink almost every single day?' And then I look at my friends and most of them do the same. And they're actually worse than me. The first thing Americans say is, 'There's a problem, and you need to go to rehab.' But I don't wake up and drink. I don't depend on drink. I can go without it completely. I just enjoy going out and having fun, being 25. And I think that's a normal thing."

Ed Sheeran Can Do Anything, Covers 50 Cent .2 Seconds After He's Asked To
Is there anything Ed Sheeran can't do? No. The answer is no. The singer, who recently released his first album in nearly three years, Divide, stopped by The Howard Stern Show this week to further prove his musical talents. After the host told Sheeran that he wanted to hear some covers because he thinks he does "really interesting takes on other people's music," Sheeran happily obliged. Howard then brought up doing something for 50 Cent's "In Da Club," and Sheeran launched right into an amazing cover without any practice. He also sang Coldplay's "Yellow" and Blackstreet's "No Diggity." Watch the entire thing above to be completely blown away.
7 Signs Your Spouse Is a Walking Dead Superfan
The Walking Dead returned for its midseason premiere several weeks ago on AMC. I know this because I am married to a TWD fanatic, and he had been reminding me of the premiere date for two months prior - but go ahead and watch him squirm when you ask for the date of his mom's birthday.
He breathes, sleeps, and eats The Walking Dead. Well, he doesn't eat the "walking dead" - that would make him a walker. Wait, do walkers eat other walkers? I don't think so, I'll ask him. Actually, I won't ask him, because his answer will be 15 minutes long and I'll have to sit through it.
Is this all sounding a little too familiar? Wondering if you too are married to a Walking Dead fanboy or -girl? Here are seven signs.
1. They will relentlessly point out the differences between the show and the comic book.
Oh boy, this is annoying. If you're like me, a casual TWD viewer, you do not care about the source material nor do you care how the show strays from it. Your superfan spouse, however, will definitely care and definitely say things like, "Oh, that's not how it happened in the comic book." Or even better, they will pause the show in order to give you a full lecture on the differences. It will sound something like this, "OK, so this is totally different from the comic book, blah, blah, blah, Negan, blah, Rick, blah, hand cut off, blah, blah." I'm paraphrasing.
2. They will call you in the middle of the day to talk about their newest theory.
Because the show does not follow the comic book (who cares?), your fanatic loved one does not actually know what's going to happen next. This leads to theories. There are so many theories. If you're lucky, your superfan spouse will call you in the middle of the day and just launch into a theory. You might be working, or eating lunch; you might be minding your own business not caring at all about what happens next on The Walking Dead. Doesn't matter. You will listen to their theories. In sickness and in health, and in listening to shows you don't care about.
3. On Sunday mornings they will say to you, "Oh, yay, Walking Dead tonight."
This one is pretty self-explanatory, but I must point out, it's every Sunday. Depending on your mood, you can try to match their enthusiasm or you can just be like, "Yep."
4. If you criticize The Walking Dead, they will passionately defend it.
Oh man, you said something bad about The Walking Dead? Whoo-ee, you are new here. Yes, I know the show is kind of repetitive, often borders on melodrama, the violence can be over the top, and Rick's hair always looks wet. I advise keeping these opinions to yourself unless you're prepared to listen to long-winded speeches about grasping on to humanity, the thin line between heroes and villains, and Rick's Colt Python gun. I know, I'm already rolling my eyes, too.
5. They will maybe start to dress like Rick Grimes.
But be on the watch for black skinny jeans, shearling-lined jackets, and well-worn Western shirts. Hopefully they'll skip the sheriff hat.
6. They will go crazy over Negan.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan is sexy, and that's a fact. His Walking Dead character, Negan, is a violent psychopath who likes to bludgeon people to death with a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire. This causes an internal struggle for me because obviously he's horrible, but also I still kind of want to make out with him? We've gone a little off topic here. Chances are your significant other thinks Negan is the best TWD character ever and watches his scenes with near reverence.
7. They will rewatch old episodes over and over again.
Thought you were going to get a break from The Walking Dead while the show is on hiatus? Nope. Your superfan spouse will have downloaded all the episodes from seasons past. This means they can pull up their favorites at will and will proceed to tell you what makes them so great. Did you know you can watch the pilot episode in black and white? Yes, you can. Yes, I wish I didn't know that.
The Vampire Diaries Series Finale Victim Speaks
Warning: major spoilers about the Vampire Diaries series finale ahead.
On the big Vampire Diaries series finale, there's one big character death after a final showdown: Stefan. His death was actually pretty predictable, and this guy's a vampire, and the series was at the end of its run anyway, but it's still a little sad for viewers who have stuck with this character for eight seasons. But how was it for the man who played the vampire with the heart of gold, Paul Wesley?
Wesley, along with the other main cast, talked to Entertainment Weekly about how the series ended, and he revealed exactly how he really felt about being killed off: he wanted it.
"I didn't [know ahead of time about death]. I had been telling them that I think Stefan should die. He's been the Ripper; he was the one who caused his brother to turn into a vampire. All the murders Damon did were all my fault really, if it comes down to the genesis of it. I just felt like he's been the hero of the story to a degree and it only made sense for him to die at the end. They totally teased me and said that he wouldn't die, so they really taunted me for a couple months. I read the finale script on an airplane. The first five acts, I was kind of like, 'Okay yeah, this is interesting,' but it didn't really hit me until the sixth act. And then the sixth act I teared up and I never really tear up when it comes to sentimental Vampire Diaries-esque things. I thought how it ended was powerful."
You Won't Believe You Missed These Disney Easter Eggs
Think you've caught all the hidden Easter eggs within Disney's animated empire? You're wrong. A new video from Oh My Disney just blew our minds by connecting characters from Mulan, Tarzan, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, and Frozen. This is even better than the time we found out about all those Pixar Easter eggs! Take a look.
There's Actually More Than 1 Big Death in the Vampire Diaries Finale
Warning: major spoilers about the Vampire Diaries series finale ahead.
The Vampire Diaries wrapped its eighth and final season on Friday night, and it was truly epic. While it was certainly filled with a lot of heartbreak and goodbyes, one of the most shocking moments was that big character death, or should we say - deaths. Not only did Stefan die after giving Damon the cure and stepping into the line of hell fire (yes, Damon is human now), but we also learned that two other main characters eventually pass away.
It all goes down in the flash forward when the characters explain where they end up, by means of journaling, of course. While Caroline opens a supernatural school with Alaric (and receives a generous donation from her former love Klaus), Bonnie does some soul searching, Elena and Damon presumably get married and have a long and happy human life together - for a while, at least. Although we're not sure when exactly they die, nor how (which seems weird seeing how much the show hyped up the big character death in the finale), in the final scene, we see Elena reunite with her family in the afterlife, and then Damon with Stefan, implying they both find peace. So there you have it. The epic trio that started it all, ended it all.
