There's Just Something Special About Camilla Belle's Style - You'll Notice Too

We must confess, we're a little obsessed with Camilla Belle's style. There is just something very special about it, and we can't quite put our finger on what it is.

It could be that she wears long, flowy gowns to red carpet events that make her look like a Disney princess. Or it could be that she puts together pieces we would never think to wear together and totally rocks them. Or perhaps it has to do with the way she pays attention to every detail of her look, from her hair to her lipstick to her shoes, often wearing clashing prints in such a delicate way, it requires zooming in to notice. We're still not sure - let us know if looking at her best outfits of the year, ahead, gives you any clues.

Riverdale: No, Jughead Is Not His Real Name, You Jugheads

If you're watching Riverdale, than you're probably mildly obsessed with Cole Sprouse's character, Jughead Jones. And if you're not, you're completely missing out. Even though he's the mysterious loner from the wrong side of the tracks, his innate ability to do the right thing paired with his star-crossed romance with Betty Cooper make him the ultimate underdog we can't help but root for. While Archie is often painted as the show's central character, Jughead's real name proves he's the true hero of the story.

In Archie comics, Jughead's birth name is Forsythe Pendleton Jones III, after his father, Forsythe "FP" Pendleton II. Although it's not the juxtaposed properness of his name that has our attention, it's the meaning behind it. According to Ancestry.com, the Scottish named is loosely translated to "man of peace." If The CW does indeed decide to make Jughead's full name canon, it could play a major role in his character's exploration next season. As the season finale teased, Jughead is at a crossroads between the light and dark side. While he loves Betty Cooper and all of his friends in Riverdale, he can't deny his father's roots with the Southside Serpents. But what if he doesn't have to chose one or the other? What if he's actually the one person who brings them together?

It certainly wouldn't be too far-fetched. As Betty pointed out during the Jubilee, Jughead is the heart of Riverdale. He doesn't see things as black and white like the rest of the town, he sees things for what they really are. That's part of what makes Betty and Jughead such a great team. They strive for the truth and don't let labels hold them down. Sure, there are bound to be many trials for the star-crossed couple as they approach this new milestone in their relationship, but we have a feeling their love story will have a happier ending than Romeo and Juliet.

"You Have Been the Greatest Threat to My Family": Constituents Erupt at Rep. Tom MacArthur

The GOP representative who played a key part in helping the new version of the American Health Care Act (AHCA) pass the House was met with anger, protests, and yelling at a town hall. Representative Tom MacArthur held a five-hour town hall on May 10, where one constituent said MacArthur is "the single greatest threat to my family."

MacArthur, of New Jersey's third congressional district, was a key member in helping the AHCA pass the house with the MacArthur-Meadows Amendment. This amendment would let states get waivers to "weaken several key Obamacare insurance reforms" like the preexisting condition one, reports CNN. Under Obamacare, insurance companies can't discriminate against someone based on their health history. Well, MacArthur's help in crafting this amendment led people to berate him at a town hall.

Two key moments during the town hall quickly went viral. One focused on 17-year-old Daisy Confoy, who asked him whether rape was a preexisting condition. "I will not describe a violent act against a woman as a preexisting condition," he said, reports ThinkProgress. You can watch Confoy talk to MacArthur in a clip ahead.

Another came when medical assistant Geoff Ginter told MacArthur, "You have been the single biggest threat to my family in the entire world." He told MacArthur how his wife beat cancer and his children have preexisting conditions as well. "You are the reason I stay up at night." Watch Ginter's tense speech ahead.

Throughout the town hall, people also yelled "liar" at MacArthur. Some like Derek Reichenbecher reminded him that the bill is only alive because of him. "This is your health care bill. It was dead in the water. It could have stayed dead in the water and now it's the MacArthur Amendment that brought this thing forward," said Reichenbecher, according to NPR.

Before the town hall even started, people were lying on the ground outside of the event, with tombstone-decorated signs that read "Couldn't Afford Asthma Care." Others held posters that said "Killer Tom," and there was even an inflatable chicken that looked like Trump. It should've prepared MacArthur for what was to come.

At the end of the five-hour town hall, one constituent did thank MacArthur for showing up and letting them "voice [their] concerns."

MacArthur will hopefully learn from his constituents and realize that these are the people who voted for him - and will determine whether they vote for him again.

Caution: This Iridescent Nebula May Hypnotize You With Its Beauty

Ah, space: it's a limitless and utterly mesmerizing place filled with some of the most naturally beautiful phenomena. If you enjoy photos or GIFs of dying stars, you'll love this newest photo from NASA of the Crab Nebula.

This stellar cloud of gas and dust, which features the most intriguing tendrils that inspired its name, resulted from a supernova explosion way back in 1054 AD. Since then, a few snapshots of the nebula have surfaced, but none are quite as detailed as the latest one. This wasn't just a one-and-done kind of photo like your average selfie; it's a composite image that combines data from five different telescopes, making for a way more comprehensive look at its breadth.

The Crab Nebula is 6,500 light years from Earth and is about 10 light years in diameter. We can't help but admire the gorgeous, hypnotizing blend of vibrant pink, purple, and yellow hues in the image. It almost appears iridescent! Thanks, NASA, for giving us our new computer desktop backgrounds.

You'll Never Skip a Day of Sunscreen Thanks to These 12 Sephora Bestsellers

We're constantly told to slather on SPF year round to protect our skin. But many women (us included) are guilty of skipping the step because, despite its multiple benefits, traditional SPF doesn't always wear too well on the skin. Many sunscreens have a thick consistency, which leaves your skin oily and creates a slippery canvas for makeup when applied to the face. Sunscreen also tends to leave behind an unflattering white cast, which can translate as chalky in photos (and on people of color), that alone causes most of us to nix SPF altogether.

But the bottom line is: sunscreen is essential for minimizing the risks of skin cancer, sunburn, and hyperpigmentation. So whether you're an SPF devotee or a sunscreen skeptic, we've rounded up some of Sephora's top-rated formulas so you have no more excuses when it comes to protecting your skin. These will guarantee your face is moisturized, guarded, and white-cast free!

Dior's Western Hats Might Become More Popular Than the Feminist Tees

There's a lot to admire about Maria Grazia Chirui's first Resort offering for Dior, which she calls Sauvage, or "wild." And the way she staged her runway - in the desert against a backdrop of the Santa Monica Mountains in Calabasas, CA - should be admired. After all, it says a lot about the message she's trying to send with her new collection: we should look to nature to find our free spirit, and then wear it on our sleeve.

While the looks appeared pretty intricate - semi-sheer tulle gowns were embroidered, blanket midi skirts and dresses featured a row of fringe, and feathers and fur provided a notable amount of texture - comfort was the foundation. Models wore either flats or sturdy leather hiking boots, and their clothes were made from soft fabrics fit to layer.

Things got playful in the accessories department. The Western hat and bandana combination was a signature of Georgia O'Keefe's that Chiuri was inspired by (not only because she was an artist and style icon, but a gentle yet strong woman). If you zoom in close, you'll see that the cowboy hats, created by Stephen Jones, were stitched with tiny prints that mimic drawings found in Lascaux cave in France. And these patterns are blown up onto prairie dresses too.

Whether or not the cowgirl effect takes hold, causing us to seek out boleros and headgear with a wide brim, Maria Grazia Chiuri reminds us to personalize our outfits - with her new rope tribal jewelry and monogrammed chokers, or just by wearing what we like with a certain amount of attitude and all around bad-assery about it.

Don't Mind This Mom, She's Just Breastfeeding While Fixing a Truck Engine

The latest case for normalizing breastfeeding comes from inside a motor vehicle. That's right, Paris Love shared a photo of herself nursing her 16-month-old son while sitting on the truck engine and replacing its carburetor.

"It makes me feel proud and loved every time I see it," she said of the image, which has gone viral. "It was a brief second in our day, but [my fiancé] loved us enough to take the picture and share it . . . I'm proud of our family. We're expecting baby #2 in July, and I assume there will be many similar moments in our lives. Moms are busy people, and we don't always have the ability to stop everything. Motherhood is multitasking. Breastfeeding just makes you a better multitasker."

That settles it. Pack up your desks, mamas: it appears we've officially normalized breastfeeding! Our job is done!

Moms Anonymously Reveal Their Worst Mother's Day Gifts and OMG

We've said it once and we'll say it again, kids should not be in charge of Mother's Day presents! On a recent episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, the host went around Hollywood asking a bunch of moms about the absolute worst presents they've ever received, and some of these are horrible. Kimmel had the moms wear masks, so "they could be extra honest without hurting anyone's feelings," but if you once gave your mom a big bag of potato chips or a billy goat, you might recognize her in the clip. On behalf of their kids, we're sorry!

Moms, watch the video above for a good laugh, and then, show the video to your kids as a warning of what you will not accept on your special day. If they need a new gift to replace that macaroni necklace, check out these last-minute Mother's Day gifts on Amazon Prime.

Cole Sprouse and KJ Apa Give Each Other Hilarious Compliments Written by Fans

We just can't get enough of Cole Sprouse and KJ Apa's bromance. While we hate that season one of Riverdale is already coming to an end, the gorgeous actors competed in a compliment battle by reading some of their fans' funniest tweets, and it's just as hilarious as you would expect. Aside from the fact that Cole basically looks like a sexy miner from District 12 as he reads some crazy notes from fans, we are swooning over KJ's laugh as his costar calls him super hot. Seriously, why are these two so adorable?

With 1 Simple Phrase, Trump's Lawyers Just Fueled the Internet's Favorite New Meme

Ever since President Donald Trump took office, there's been a constant buzz surrounding his refusal to release his tax returns. Many have speculated the documents would prove his financial relations with Russia. Considering how Trump just fired FBI Director James Comey while being investigated for his alleged Russian ties, we wouldn't be too surprised if that's the real reason he won't release his returns.

In an attempt to quell the public's doubts, Trump's lawyers addressed the situation in a letter. They explained how after reviewing the last 10 years of his tax returns, they did not show "any income of any type from Russian sources," with few exceptions, according to the Associated Press. As the lawyers didn't release copies of his returns to the AP, these conclusions couldn't be verified.

So wait, let's rewind . . . there are "few exceptions" involved here, apparently? That sounds like a bit of a red flag. When news of this wishy-washy explanation broke on social media, people couldn't help but troll it, and thus the internet's latest Trump-related meme was born.

It's truly about time the Trump administration and team realize that the internet will turn any slight flub into a meme.

This School Just "Canceled" Mother's Day - and People Are Pissed

In an attempt to be more inclusive, one school's bold new policy has ended up sparking outrage among some parents. Albert McMahon Elementary School in Mission, British Columbia, announced that first and second grade students won't be making crafts for Mother's or Father's Day this year.

The school sent students home with a letter explaining that they aren't celebrating the holidays this year in an effort to keep children from different families from feeling left out. "In an effort to celebrate diversity, inclusivity, and also nurture our students who are part of non-traditional families, we have decided to encourage those celebrations to take place at home," the note read. "Due to this, the children will not be making gifts at school to give on Mother's Day and Father's Day. We feel each family knows that best way to celebrate with their own family."

According to Mission Public School District Superintendendent Angus, Wilson, the school came to this decision not as a political statement, but after much thought after a recent event. "The reasoning wasn't some cabal or some political plan," Wilson told King 5. "Instead, there has been a recent trauma involving a student and its [sic] parents."

Although the new policy was enacted to reflect the diversity of their students' households, some parents are not pleased that neither moms nor dads will be celebrated in school. "I think disappointed is an understatement," Roy Glebe posted on Facebook along with a photo of the school's letter. "I don't understand why we, as Canadians, need to give up our traditions that have been passed through generations. I welcome all races and ethnicities, but forcing us to give up things that are important to us as Canadians is crap. And it doesn't even have anything to do with religion? You can't celebrate your Mom and Dad?"

Do you think this school should be applauded for protecting students or is it going too far in an attempt to keep kids from feeling left out?

Harry Styles Gets Flustered When Asked About Taylor Swift: "Help Me!"

Harry Styles is in the midst of his promotional tour for his debut solo album, but not every interview is focused only on him. Since his dedicated fans have been obsessing over which songs are about his infamous and short-lived romance with Taylor Swift (even going as far as to zoom in on videos of lyrics), Harry was asked about "Two Ghosts" when he stopped by BBC Radio 1 on Friday. After host Nick Grimshaw told Harry he was doing him a favor and getting the question out of the way, the "Sign of the Times" singer got visibly flustered before looking into the other room at his team. "Help me, Jeffrey!" he hilariously said. He then sucked it up to answer but ended up giving an incredibly confusing answer. "I think, you know, it's about . . . sometimes things change," he continued. "You can be, do all the same things, and sometimes it's just different." Wait, what?

20 TV Shows That Have Been Straight-Up Canceled in 2017

Can you feel the thick tension hanging in the air? Networks are currently announcing decisions about which series will return next Fall and which will . . . not be. While there are a number of shows that are ending in 2017, many of them at least got a final season to finish out their stories. With the exception of Portlandia, the following shows have just been dumped from the primetime schedule to make room for new Fall pilots.

Fox

  • Making History: The time-travel comedy is history.
  • Son of Zorn: The live-action/cartoon hybrid is done after one season.
  • APB: The futuristic cop drama starring Justin Kirk is dead in the water.
  • Pitch: After one season, Fox is pulling the plug on this sports drama.
  • Rosewood: Two seasons in, and Fox is done.
  • Sleepy Hollow: Fox is calling it quits after four seasons.

ABC

  • Last Man Standing: Tim Allen's show has been canceled.
  • Time After Time: After five episodes, ABC has pulled the low-rated drama.

NBC

  • Powerless: The superhero comedy is officially done.
  • Timeless: After one season, the drama is officially over.
  • Emerald City: We hardly got to know this Wizard of Oz adaptation before it was canceled.

CBS

The CW

  • Frequency: The time-travel drama failed to catch on after one season.
  • No Tomorrow: The CW also axed this whimsical romantic drama.

FX

  • Man Seeking Woman: The show has been canceled after three brilliant (but low-rated) seasons.

Disney Channel

IFC

  • Portlandia: IFC announced that the show will end in 2018 with season eight.

OWN

  • Love Thy Neighbor: OWN canceled the Tyler Perry-produced show.
  • For Better or Worse: This show, also from Perry, is ending with its current season.

WGN

  • Outsiders: After two seasons, the drama has been shut down.

Tina Fey's Ragtime Cover of Bruno Mars Is Exactly What We Like

Tina Fey really can do it all. When The Ragtime Gals returned to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night, the actress decided to get in on the fun. As the group sang a barbershop quartet version of Bruno Mars's "That's What I Like," Tina stole the show with her impressive pipes. Let's just say, we wouldn't mind seeing her reprise her role as Ms. Norbury in the upcoming Broadway adaptation of Mean Girls.

This Is What Nars's New Orgasm Lipstick Looks Like on Diverse Skin Tones

Before there were viral Peach Palettes, there was Nars Orgasm blush. The shimmery pink-peach shade is probably the most famous blush - ever! - and it's known to look good on just about everyone. Plus, it gives you that post-romp "afterglow" look.

This Summer, the iconic shade is expanding its empire (there's already a multiuse stick, lip gloss, and liquid illuminator in the hue) to include liquid blush and a lipstick. Here, we're going to discuss the latter.

While Orgasm Lipstick doesn't launch until May 15 ($28), we got advance samples to test. The formula is just as creamy and nourishing as other Nars lipsticks, and it's decently longwear and pigmented.

But would it be like the sisterhood of the traveling lipstick and complement most complexions? Four POPSUGAR editors - with skin tones ranging from pale to dark - swiped on the shimmery peach-pink to see if it's as universally flattering as its sister powder blush. Keep reading for our reviews!

Victoria Beckham Gets an A For Her Posh Schoolgirl Uniform

Leave it to Victoria Beckham to show everyone how to put a fashion-girl spin on a school uniform. She was spotted in NYC wearing head-to-toe navy, and the outfit was basically a 2017 version of Blair Waldorf's private school attire. Victoria wore a white collared button down with a sash looped around her neck and a navy button cardigan. Instead of a pleated skirt, Victoria softened her look with a navy sheer skirt that revealed a pair of scrunched leather boots.

It should come as no surprise this entire outfit was from Victoria's Fall 2017 collection, her structured bag included. The sophisticated monochromatic ensemble is definitely the poshest take on a school uniform we've seen yet - it's even inspired us to recreate the look ahead with some shopping options.

3 Things Your Transgender Co-Worker Needs You to Know

Building strong, authentic relationships with co-workers can be the single most fulfilling aspect of a person's work life, but for the transgender community, this process is filled with more obstacles than cisgender people often realize. In her book, Woman Incognito: Transsexual without Transition, transgender woman and author Lee Schubert tells her story of living as a woman in a man's body. Her turbulent path to self-discovery includes her descent as high school valedictorian to college dropout, the two years she spent at a highly respected private mental hospital where doctors were clueless about her gender dysphoria, and her eventual self-realization.

In a workplace environment, the challenges of being transgender can feel even more heightened. Dealing with derogatory comments, fielding inappropriate questions, and addressing the bathroom issue are a few examples, but Schubert also points out a less obvious threat that cisgender colleagues might not always consider: "a general atmosphere of ostracism."

Schubert expands on three crucial things cisgender professionals should know, but might not.

1. Know which questions are off limits

Curious co-workers can unintentionally cross boundaries by asking personal questions they wouldn't ask a cisgender person. "Don't ask if the trans person has had surgery and especially not what surgery. Some trans people do not mind talking about that, but if they want to they will bring it up themselves. Don't ask a trans woman if she's a transvestite or drag queen. Don't ask a transgender lesbian why she can't just be a straight man. Because she's not a man, that's why. And for heaven's sake don't ask how he or she has sex. Good grief! If you asked anyone else that it would probably be considered sexual harassment. The fact that someone is transgender does not make it any more acceptable," says Schubert.

2. Ask questions that transcend gender

"In general, trans people do not want to be asked questions about being transgender. They would rather be asked ordinary questions about where they went to school, what kind of music they like, or who they're rooting for in the World Series. An important exception is that you should ask what pronoun they prefer, and be aware that some may prefer "they" rather than either "he" or "she." If things seem to be going awkwardly for the trans person, you could ask how you could be more supportive," says Schubert.

3. Managers need to set the example

"A trans woman just wants to be treated like a woman, not a special kind of woman," says Schubert. Managers should take the lead by including transgender employees in work-related social activities, using the correct name and pronoun, and clarifying bathroom policies that allow transgender employees to use the bathroom they identify with or making bathrooms gender neutral.
