16 of the Most Empowering Signs From the Families Belong Together Marches
Hundreds of thousands of people showed up across the country to protest Donald Trump's "zero tolerance" immigration policy during the Families Belong Together marches. Celebrities such as Chrissy Teigen, John Legend, Amy Schumer, Laverne Cox, and more were also in attendance, and some even took the stage to give touching and powerful speeches.
Politicians such as California Senator Kamala Harris, LA Mayor Eric Garcetti, and Representative Maxine Waters were also there. Waters took the stage in front of thousands calling for Trump's impeachment and responding to the death threats made against her with zero fear.
"If you shoot me, you better shoot straight. There's nothing like a wounded animal," Waters said. "I am not about to let this country go by the way of Donald Trump. We are sick and tired of him. He's been there too long. They dared me to say impeach him. Today I say impeach 45!"
Attendees were all on the same wavelength and used their signs to express their thoughts on the current administration's immigration stance. Keep scrolling to see some of the best signs from the march in Los Angeles.
Ariana Grande Honors Fiancé Pete Davidson's Late Father With a Brand-New Tattoo
Ariana Grande just showed her love for fiancé Pete Davidson and his family in a very permanent way. The 25-year-old singer debuted a new tattoo on her foot of the numbers 8418 - it's the badge number Scott Davidson, Pete's late father, wore as a firefighter before he died during the Twin Tower attacks on 9/11. Pete also has the same tattoo on his forearm.
This isn't the first time Ariana and Pete have gotten inked since they've been together. Shortly after the two went public with their relationship, Pete got her iconic black bunny ears mask and initials, AG, tattooed. The couple also has tiny clouds tattooed on their fingers and "H2GKMO" (an acronym for "Honest to God Knock Me Out") on their hands. Keep scrolling to get a closer look at Ariana's new tattoo.

Finding Your Mom Tribe Is Harder Than Dating - Here's What I Learned
Image Source: UnSplash / Dani Vivanco
Thirty-something/Female/Palo Alto.
Seeking other amateur, irreverent new mom who walks the line between reading every study about how to develop your newborn's optimal gut flora and just NGAF.
Bonus points if your dog's on Instagram.
"Mom tribe" is this term that people have been using around me ever since I got pregnant. "You'll need a mom tribe," friends would insist. "I'd DIE without my tribe," others would admit.
Your what? Your tribe? Why would I need "other" friends than the ones I already had? Plenty of my pals have kiddos. Granted, they live hundreds if not thousands of miles away, but I didn't see the need in replacing them or shoving them down to the bottom of the list to make space for fresh meat.
I nodded, though, accepting that these people - these experienced moms who had advice to give - knew a thing or two. And if they said I needed a tribe of moms, then I needed to find one. But where?
The hunt started while I was pregnant. I went to local baby stores in my town and asked the cute salesgirls where other moms hung out; I signed up for several prenatal yoga classes (even though I dislike yoga) and lurked after class to see if anyone was, say, taking their sugar test soon and wanted to connect over how gross the drink was. I even posted on the neighborhood social network site Nextdoor, a posting that I nervously edited several times for fear of looking desperate. By the time it went up, I'd whittled it down to essentially nothing: "Mom-to-be here, what's up?" I found no one at the yoga classes, and my Nextdoor message went unanswered.
From there I pushed harder, joining several Facebook mom groups and interacting with other people's postings. Finally, I read that someone was looking for other moms. I screamed at the screen. Me too!
This woman was new to the neighborhood and looking to meet other new moms or moms-to-be. I messaged her, we exchanged surface-level information, and we agreed to meet up. But then, like it happens in the dating world, she canceled on me. Something came up.
The quest continued, forcing me to respond to even more messages. I even joined a mom matchmaking app! Finally, after I had my baby, I found some momentum. A handful of moms who'd recently delivered were meeting for coffee in my neighborhood. I laced up my shoes and went. The experience was a perfect mix of helpful and odd. As a new mom, you're sort of fast-tracked to a level of intimacy that would ordinarily take months to get to. Things got honest very quickly.
I get it now. I get the concept of the mom tribe. These mothers are going through things only I can understand. And because our babies are so close in age, we can talk about the most boring of things, like sleep sacks with Velcro and tummy time. And even if I'm not everything they hoped for in their mom friend, at the very least, I'm in their zip code. So I have that going for me.
But if you're in a similar situation and searching for your group, here's everything I learned.
It's supposed to be awkward.
Just own it. It's basically blind dating.
It's fine if you forget their name . . . or their kid's name.
No matter what you forget about your new friend, you can blame it on the new mom fog (which is very much a real thing).
It's super easy to cancel. So don't.
It's understandable that you might not have had a good night's sleep. You're probably tired. Whatever it is, it's SO easy to cancel, and no one would sympathize more than another new mom. Which is why you have to force yourself to go sometimes. It's worth it.
Offer someone something.
The tribe isn't only about you. I remember the first time a new mom friend offered me an old diaper bag to use on a walk because I didn't have anything to hold my milk bottle in (I'd been sticking them in various pockets like a boss). I was touched because we really didn't know each other. But it meant so much. Weeks later when she mentioned she needed some formula, I rushed to offer to give her extra. It felt rewarding taking a walk to her house and dropping it on her doorstep.
It's OK to talk about nonmom stuff.
You don't have to just talk about poop and pacifiers. Talk about your careers, your families, the weird things people are posting on Nextdoor!
You're not married. You can cheat on your mom tribe if you want.
I have to accept that my mom friends might be cheating on me. At this very moment. I may not fulfill everything they need, and that's perfectly fine. As long as they keep responding to my texts every now and then and are available for stroller walks, I'm just happy to be there.

Exclusive: Watch John Cena and Leslie Mann's Hysterical Blockers Outtakes
Blockers is easily one of 2018's most hilarious - and unexpectedly feminist - teen comedies, but much of Kay Cannon's directorial debut finds its laughs with the actors who play the parents to said teens: John Cena, Leslie Mann, and Ike Barinholtz. In our exclusive clip from the movie, which is now on Digital and will be available on Blue-Ray July 3, watch the trio go through line after hysterical line in never-before-seen footage. (Hearing Cena excitedly say, "Marci said I could build a tiny home in our backyard for activities!" is worth a watch, trust us.)

Every Single Gorgeous Moment From Kaley Cuoco and Karl Cook's Wedding
Karl Cook and Kaley Cuoco are officially husband and wife! On Saturday, The Big Bang Theory actress and the professional equestrian tied the knot at a horse stable near San Diego, CA, in front of family and friends. While Karl donned a black suit for the special occasion, Kaley look absolutely radiant in a beaded white gown with a matching cape and a white lace jumpsuit for the reception. The couple certainly went all out for the equestrian theme with a horseshoe alter made out of flowers, an ice luge that featured pictures of horses, and whiskey party favors. Kaley even donned a white cowgirl hat as she danced during her reception.
The couple first began dating in March 2016, and have been making us swoon with their sweet moments ever since. In September 2016, they made their red carpet debut as a couple, and got engaged last November on Kaley's 32nd birthday, which they celebrated by taking a trip to Disneyland. Keep scrolling for even more pictures from their fun-filled wedding ahead.
Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson's Men in Black Reboot Has a Pretty Sweet Cast So Far
Your favorite Asgardians are teaming up for a new project, but far away from the world of Norse mythology and Marvel comics. Back in March, Variety reported that Thor: Ragnarok stars Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson were in talks to appear together in a new Men in Black spinoff film that will premiere in May 2019. The God of Thunder and a fierce Valkyrie fighting crime in dapper outfits? Yes, please! And fun fact: Chris isn't the only Hemsworth brother who Thompson has worked with on a fun sci-fi project . . . she also stars with Luke Hemsworth in HBO's Westworld!
The writers behind Iron Man are reportedly writing the script, and it will be directed by F. Gary Gray of Straight Outta Compton fame. Unfortunately two of the Men in Black franchise's biggest stars will not return for the film; neither Will Smith nor Tommy Lee Jones is set to slip into their suits for the spinoff. But don't worry, there's still plenty of star power behind the scenes in addition to Hemsworth and Thompson on screen. Check out the cast ahead!
How to Make Sure Your Swimsuit Lasts All Summer . . . and Beyond
Even if we're only wearing it for a few weeks each year, we put our bathing suits through a lot. They get drenched in chlorinated or salty water and wrung out and hung over the bathtub or shower. Then the next day, you jump into the ocean and do it all again! It's no wonder they start to look tired a little sooner than you'd like, and that's particularly frustrating if you've invested in a designer brand. If you're a regular swimmer, you're making your kit work even harder, so you need to take extra care to ensure it lasts the distance. Here's how to make sure your bikinis and swimsuits last as long as possible.

Familiar faces like Alison Brie, Betty Gilpin, Marc Maron, and Chris Lowell are all reprising their roles (along with the rest of the first season's talented cast), but there's also one new actress who's joining the squad. Keep scrolling to find out who!
The Heartbreaking Thing Prince William Told Diana After She Lost Her Title in the Divorce
When Prince Charles and Princess Diana ended their marriage in 1996, their oldest son, Prince William, was just 14 years old. At the time, he was a student at Eton College studying biology, art history, and geography and playing soccer and water polo. He hadn't yet begun his official royal duties or military career. For all intents and purposes, he was a normal teenager - besides, you know, the whole being king one day thing - and most normal teenagers are pretty bummed about their parents splitting up. But as second in line to the British throne, William recognized his (future) power and made a promise to his mother that is both incredibly adorable and incredibly heartbreaking.
Charles and Diana's divorce was finalized in August 1996, but some drama surrounding her royal title ensued. Queen Elizabeth II reportedly wanted to let Diana keep the style of her royal highness, but Charles was "adamant" that she give it up - instead, she was given the title Diana, Princess of Wales. The loss of the honorific separated Diana from the rest of the family in such a way that she had to curtsy to those who had it, including her own children. William is said to have comforted his mother after the loss of her title by saying, "Don't worry, Mummy, I will give it back to you one day when I am king."
Tragically, Diana was killed in a car crash just a little over a year after William made his touching vow to her. In the decades after her death, both he and his brother, Harry, have opened up about their mother, sharing stories about their time with her as well as honoring her impact, both with the charities they support and the traditions she's passed on to them.
Kaley Cuoco's Sheer Wedding Dress Was Absolutely Breathtaking, but Her Lace Jumpsuit Was on Another Level
Kaley Cuoco is officially off the market! The Big Bang Theory star married Karl Cook at Rancho Santa Fe, California surrounded by close friends and family. For the equestrian-themed wedding, Kaley opted for a stunning sheer wedding dress. Her beautiful gown featured a corset-inspired bodice, delicate embroidery, and a sheer skirt.

Princess Diana's Precious Childhood Photos Will Put a Huge Smile on Your Face
Princess Diana was born on July 1, 1961. Though she came from a family of British nobility with royal ancestry, her upbringing wasn't exactly an easy one. Diana's parents divorced when she was 7, and her mom left her and her three siblings with their father, who remarried without telling them. As a young girl, she lived at Park House on the royal family's Sandringham estate, and in 1975, she became Lady Diana Spencer after her father inherited the title of Lord Spencer and moved the family to Althorp, the Spencer estate in Northampton, England. From there, she was shipped off to boarding schools, where she became insecure, unstable, and withdrawn.
Long before she met and married Prince Charles and became the Princess of Wales, Diana was a bright child who, despite not being that great of a student, excelled in the arts, including ballet and piano. She loved animals and owned a handful of pets, including a pony and a guinea pig. After her tragic death in August 1997, Diana was returned to the place she grew up and is now buried at the family estate in Althorp. We've rounded up the sweetest photos from Diana's childhood - keep reading to see the little girl who would one day grow up to be the People's Princess.

The Reason That Actress in GLOW Reminds You of Kate Nash Is Because She's Kate Nash
When you watch the seventh episode in the first season of Netflix's breakout hit, GLOW, then you'll likely find yourself hearing a very familiar voice. Rhonda, the bubbly, big-banged British member of the show's all-female wrestling group, comes up with a rap to hype up the crowd during the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling's first match with a live studio audience. "GLOW, GLOW, that's the name; women's wrestling is our game," she chants (sorry, "speak-sings") in the middle of the ring. "If we play rough, please don't blame us; our style is wild, and you know you can't tame us!" If Rhonda's voice gives you a major case of déjà-vu in that scene, might I ask if you're a fan of the 2007 song "Foundations"? Or "Merry Happy"? Because Rhonda (aka Britannica) is actually played by British singer-songwriter Kate Nash!
Since charming the music scene with her debut album in 2007, Made of Bricks (which went platinum . . . NBD), Nash has gone on to win a BRIT Award and release three more albums and a handful of EPs. Though the 30-year-old still tours with her all-girl band, she's also been dipping her toes into the acting world more and more over the years. She's popped up in the films Greetings from Tim Buckley, Powder Room, and Syrup, and she also scored a role in the TV miniseries The Devil You Know. Now that GLOW has returned for a second season, here's hoping we get to see more of Nash's musical side.
Experts Reveal How Many Steps You Need to Take in a Day to Lose Weight
Whether you track your steps with a wearable device or through your phone, knowing how much you've walked in a day can be an extremely useful tool for weight loss. Many of our jobs entail sitting for a majority of the day, which can be bad for your body and your brain. However, simply walking and tracking your steps every day can reduce health risks and may even help you lose weight. But how much do you actually need to move around to reap the benefits?
The Centers For Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) warns against a sedentary, inactive lifestyle and recommends 150 minutes a week of moderate-intensity physical activity or 75 minutes a week of high-intensity activity. In other words, you need to be active for 30 minutes a day, five days a week. For additional health benefits, the CDC recommends doubling your goal and fitting in up to 300 minutes a week of moderate-intensity or 150 minutes of high-intensity physical activity.
Laura Arndt, a certified personal trainer and the CEO of Matriarc, a health and wellness app for moms, helped us break the CDC's recommendations into steps. Arndt says a 30-minute brisk walk can get most of her clients "between 3,000 and 5,000 steps, depending on their speed and their gait. However, we shouldn't be sitting the remainder of the day, so the goal is to achieve another 5,000 steps through everyday activity."
Arndt recommends that her clients aim for 10,000 total steps a day but notes that isn't a realistic goal for everyone. "The best thing to do is have someone wear a fitness tracker for a week, see what their average step counts are over the course of the week, and have them aim to increase their step counts by 10 percent," Arndt says. "This gives them a realistic goal, but it also forces them to step up their daily activity."
If you're specifically looking to lose weight, the intensity of your physical activity plays a significant role as well. "How briskly you walk plays a large role in how many calories you actually burn when walking. Walking a very slow 10,000 steps may not be adequate to actually result in weight loss," Dr. Gregg Kai Nishi, a surgeon at the Khalili Center and the director of the Institute For Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery at K and B Surgical Center, told POPSUGAR. "Conversely, walking very briskly, even if less than 10,000 steps, may be much more beneficial in terms of weight loss."
But even walking a brisk 10,000 steps per day may not be enough to burn off pounds on its own. "In addition to looking at your step counts, strength training has scientific benefits for increasing your metabolism, burning calories, and therefor helping with weight loss," says Arndt. "The more muscle you have, the more calories you burn during rest and during activity." She encourages her clients to start or continue a strength-training routine a minimum of two days a week, including free weights or activities such as yoga or a bootcamp-style class.
Of course, increasing your activity won't result in weight loss if you aren't creating a calorie deficit. It's also important to take a look at your eating habits throughout the day. While walking 6,000 to 10,000 or more steps a day can promote several health benefits, keeping track of what you're eating and how many calories you're consuming will go a long way toward helping you achieve your weight-loss goals. Be sure to eat a daily diet that consists of a variety of fruits and vegetables, whole grains, protein, and healthy fats in addition to getting an adequate amount of physical activity if you're trying to lose weight.
This New Horror Film Looks Like the Perfect Mix Between Stranger Things and Disturbia
A group of young kids biking around their neighborhood in the '80s, falling in love for the first time, and discovering a horrifying secret about their small town all set to a pumping synth soundtrack . . . sounds like Stranger Things, no? Well, it's also the premise for Summer of '84, which looks like a nostalgic entry into the slasher genre this year.
The film, directed by Roadkill Superstar (RKSS for short) - aka the name for Canadian directors François Simard, Yoann-Karl Whissell, and Anouk Whissell - follows four teenage friends who begin to suspect that their police officer neighbor (GLOW's Rich Sommer) is a serial killer. Naturally, they take it upon themselves to figure it out, which leads to spying on him, going on dangerous missions to gather evidence, and some life-or-death situations. (Raise your hand if you're getting some Disturbia vibes, too.)

GLOW: Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling Was Real, and It Was Spectacular
Netflix dropped the first season of a new dramedy in 2017 called GLOW, which stands for the "gorgeous ladies of wrestling." Both season one and this year's second installment tells the story of struggling actress Ruth (Alison Brie) auditioning for a mid-1980s all-female answer to Vince McMahon's World Wrestling Federation shows, and hoping for wrestling stardom - but was it a real TV program?
The answer is yes, it was. The original Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling ran in syndication from 1986 to 1990, notching 104 episodes in the original run. There was also an attempt to revive the show in 2001, but it ultimately failed to get off the ground.
With the Netflix series, all the characters being portrayed are fictional, though a few do bear some resemblance to the original cast. There's a wrestler named Emily Dole who went by the moniker "Mt. Fiji" who bears a passing resemblance to Machu Picchu (Britney Young); there was a wrestler/trainer named Cynthia Peretti, who wrestled under the names Princess Jasmine and Pepper, whose likely counterpart on the show is Cherry (Sydelle Noel); and there was a wrestler named Lori Palmer who competed as Colonel Ninotchka, which is similar to Ruth's (Brie) in-ring Russian persona.
In addition to the mostly unknown women who were cast as the wrestlers, there were a few famous faces involved in Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling. Sylvester Stallone's mom, Jackie, played the owner of GLOW and manager of the Good Girls team. She brought her grandson, Sly's son Sage, to a few tapings, where he made a guest appearance on the show.
Mariska Hargitay's half-brother Tony Cimber also appeared on the show as Nature Boy, led around the ring by a female wrestler called Jungle Woman. Cimber is the son of actress Jayne Mansfield (who is also Hargitay's mother) and GLOW director Matt Cimber, who may be the inspiration for director Sam Sylvia (Marc Maron) in the Netflix series.
Prior to being cast in Netflix's GLOW, Brie says she had never really watched wrestling before, but she familiarized herself with it after signing on to the show. "It's wild to go back and watch wrestling from the '80s and watch what an American sport it was, and how all the villains are foreign and all the heroes are American," she told A.V. Club. "And there are some really dark wrestling matches that happened even in the '70s and the early '80s that are almost kind of scary to watch."
She's definitely aware of Colonel Ninotchka, her original GLOW counterpart.
"I enjoyed watching Colonel Ninotchka's videos to get a handle on her accent, which is much more Boris and Natasha than it is Eastern Promises," said Brie. "As we were getting toward shooting our finale, I would go back and watch some of her matches just to look for inspiration in terms of moves. It was like, what moves can I steal?"
"Then when we first started shooting the show, I took a step away from it because all of our characters are fictional and I didn't want to read into who these women were. Because we're not playing them. Ruth has a storyline unto herself, and I wanted to create the character from within. Towards the end of the season I was like, 'Ooh, I've got to go back and watch.'"
Writers Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch add that they actually got hooked on old episodes of GLOW after seeing a documentary about the series and that's where the idea of the Netflix show started.
"We had never heard of GLOW, we had never watched it in the '80s, we had never watched wrestling," Flahive told Variety in 2017. "We were so moved by the way that these women were talking about how this crazy experience transformed them and changed their lives, how it took them down these paths they would have never have walked down if not for this totally weird opportunity that they all came together."
"There was something about seeing how they used their bodies in this way that was really exciting to us," added Mensch, "and I think we both have a history of writing for strong but flawed, weird women."
GLOW is definitely full of flawed, weird women - in the best way. The entire first season is available now on Netflix, and season two drops on June 29.

Bella Hadid Denies That Drake's "Finesse" Is About Her: "That's Disrespectful"
Regardless of whether or not Drake and Bella Hadid ever actually dated, the 21-year-old supermodel is setting the record straight about one thing: Drake's new song is not about her.
On Friday, the Canadian rapper dropped a two-sided album, Scorpion, that boasts 25 songs and lasts an hour and 29 minutes, but it was the track "Finesse," in particular, that captured the attention of fans. In the song, Drake alludes to a relationship with a woman who has a lot in common with Hadid, from her career ("Fashion Week is more your thing than mine") to her sister and fellow model, Gigi ("You and your sister / Too hot to handle").
Despite the similarities, Hadid hopped on Twitter to make it clear that the woman Drake raps about is not her, with the help of a few angry emoji. "Not me!!!" she wrote after someone insinuated Drake had "banged" her. "That's disrespectful. WHY CANT PPL BE FRIENDS W/o all the insinuation."
Not me!!!🤷🏻♀️that's disrespectful. WHY CANT PPL BE FRIENDS W/o all the insinuation 🤭🧐😩🤬
- Bella Hadid (@bellahadid) June 29, 2018
The 31-year-old rapper has rarely been photographed with Hadid, but he sparked dating rumors in October 2017 after paying for and hosting her 21st birthday. Most recently, Hadid has been spotted getting cozy with her ex-boyfriend, The Weeknd, so it doesn't seem a relationship with Drake - who just confirmed he's a father - is on the table.
