Is Ariana Grande Influencing Pete Davidson's Hair Transformation?
Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson have enjoyed a fast and furious relationship since they began dating in May. In addition to sharing several tattoos, the high-profile couple also seem to be converging their styles with trendy streetwear and even matching mouth masks. Recently, the 24-year-old comedian dyed his hair platinum blond in a decision that may have been inspired by his pop star fiancée, if you're into that sort of romantic thing.
Though the 25-year-old singer is currently wearing her signature brown shade, Grande has also experimented with platinum hair in the past, as well as gray hair. On her latest Elle cover for the magazine's August issue, Grande was again photographed with long blond hair.
Given how rapidly and passionately the relationship has progressed, it's not entirely out of the question that Grande has also influenced Davidson's latest hair transformation, of all things. The things you do for love, right?
This Lightweight Captain Blankenship Moisturizer Doesn't Aggravate Acne-Prone Skin
Oh, Captain Blankenship. If I'm ever stuck on a desert island, I'd hope the skin-saving sailor would save me. That would be fitting, too, as the brand makes one of my all-time favorite products that I would indeed tote to a Castaway-esque living sitch: the Sailor Deep Blue Face Moisturizer ($20). And if you happen to be reading this on July 17, you can scoop up a bottle of this bad boy for $16 during Target's sneaky one-day mega sale. (Prime Day, you've got some competition.) I think I was first drawn to this moisturizer because it smells like a box of Froot Loops. (So if you've got a sensitive nose, you might want to stay away.) Since I'm prone to breakouts, I know there's a special kind of fear that comes with popping open a new moisturizer. There's always the chance the lotion will turn your skin's dry patches into blotchy pimples, but something is different about this lightweight cream. It sits well under makeup and doesn't slide around or make you look greasy - partly because of its soothing botanical ingredients, such as jojoba, pomegranate, calendula, carrot seed, aloe vera, and wild rose.
This counteracts nicely with my prescription-strength acne pads, which rub away my pimples but also dry out my skin. If you're someone who doesn't want to feel like you're wearing 500 pounds of product on a sweltering Summer day, you'll appreciate how easily this absorbs into your face. On top of everything else, it's packaged in a glass bottle. Klutz tendencies aside, that's great news for anyone who's bummed about the amount of plastic in our oceans.
If my NYC apartment's dingy bathtub weren't already home to an incredibly large water bug named Miso, I would use the Target sale as an opportunity to stock up on enough of this moisturizer that I could bathe in it. But since Miso's claimed her throne, I'll just stick to smearing it on my face.

4 Apps to Try If You Can't Get a Quick Derm Appointment
If you live in a rural area, you're probably used to having to wait weeks to see a dermatologist. It may seem normal to you, but the delay is actually because of an alarming shortage of dermatologists in this country. Recent studies have estimated that there are about 3.3 derms per every 100,000 people.
While self-diagnosing serious conditions such as melanoma or skin cancer isn't advisable, you probably don't want to wait three weeks to talk to a doctor about a breakout you're having right now. Luckily, there are a few hardworking apps that can empower you to smartly treat your skin.
Curology
After clearing up a young patient's acne in 2013, Dr. David Lortscher was disappointed to hear that the woman thought dermatologists were just for "rich people." In response, this family business - Dr. Lortscher's first employees were his mother and brother - was born. To use it, download the Curology app, snap a photo of your problem area, and answer a skin survey. You'll be paired with a professional who will help diagnose your problem and send a "Superbottle" full of product to target it. The brand says it has an 88 percent success rate, but if the app doesn't work in 90 days, you can get a full refund.
MMSkincare
Mt. Sinai's Dr. Ellen Marmur created MMSkincare to provide personalized skincare routines for on-the-go patients. Much like Curology, you'll upload a selfie and take a 10-minute survey about your concerns, and then the app will shoot over a list of the Marmur Metamorphosis products it thinks would help. The dermatologist's line includes serums and masks that target problem areas such as acne, rosacea, inflammation, dryness, and wrinkles.
First Derm
More than 30,000 patients have turned to First Derm, a TalkSpace-esque app that pairs you with a dermatologist. Instead of waiting up to a month to see a doctor IRL, you can snap a photo of your condition and wait for a derm to get back to you within 24 hours. This information will cost you - consultations start at around $30 - but it's much more affordable than $120, which First Derm claims is the national average price per office visit.
Spruce
Even if you have a dermatologist that you love, you can't always squeeze in an appointment at the very last minute. Spruce is a care messenger app that allows you to chat with doctors and physician's assistants during off-duty moments such as nights and weekends. This option works great for asking questions about minor skin concerns. After chatting on Spruce, you may need to schedule an in-person follow-up appointment to treat your actual concern. That said, this is a great resource that will give you peace of mind if you just need to know what's going on with your skin ASAP.

No Wonder Amazon Crashed - It's Selling Clarisonics For $79
In the four plus years that I've owned a Clarisonic, I've never regretted plunking down over $200 for it. It's more than earned its keep, doing its gentle-exfoliating thing and drastically changing my basic wash-and-rinse - or sometimes makeup-wipe-and-fall-into-bed - routine from the moment I brought it home. That said, if you told me I could score the same game-changing face cleanser on Amazon for under $100, I certainly would have preferred it. So, though I missed the discount, I feel compelled to spread the good word. If you've never treated your skin to a Clarisonic, there's no time like the present - and the present is Amazon Prime Day.

Demi Lovato Just Changed Her Hair Color - and Revealed It in a Sneaky Way
Demi Lovato is no stranger to a smoldering selfie, but she took her 'gram to its sneakiest heights on July 17 through the subtle reveal of her latest hair color. According to Lovato's Instagram Story, the reliably brunette singer decided to lighten up for midsummer.
As Allure reported, the honey blond color came courtesy of Lovato's go-to colorist, Amber Maynard from LA's Nine Zero One Salon. In addition to switching the hue, the stylist also added some length. "Demi's had dark hair for a long time," Maynard said. "We thought what better way to switch it up than to go lighter and add extensions for length?"
But it didn't come easy: Maynard said that it took two days to totally lift Lovato's hair. And it also took a village. "I worked on the front and top while my team focused on the back," Maynard said. "This makes the process go much faster and allows us to work more efficiently and cover more ground in less time."
The pro used Joico products for just about every step of the process. She began with Joico Color Intensity Eraser ($8), which cleared Lovato's hair of existing dye. Maynard followed that step with Joico Blonde Life products. She then mixed the shadow roots herself, and her last step included toning with LumiShine.
Here's to a new, brighter era of continually flawless Demi Lovato selfies.

Ashley Benson Reveals Her 3 Biggest Beauty Regrets From Pretty Little Liars
When you look back at your younger years, you can probably name a few beauty regrets. The years of our embarrassing side bangs and perpetually chipped black nail polish are hidden in the depths of Facebook albums from 2007. For Ashley Benson, however, they were nationally broadcasted on Pretty Little Liars.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight at the BeautyCon Festival in Los Angeles, the actress relived a few of her biggest beauty regrets while starring as Hanna Marin on the iconic show. Check them out ahead.
This Under-the-Radar Brand on Amazon Will Be Your New Minimalist Obsession
As much as I would love a medicine cabinet full of fuss-free beauty products toting Helvetica-branded labels, I am a more-is-more kind of lady. My attempts at taking classy, minimalist #shelfies leave me looking like I'm auditioning for an episode of Hoarders: Beauty Edition.
Until last week, I thought I had resigned myself to a life full of over-the-top makeup packaging. Then POPSUGAR's senior beauty editor left a clear plastic bag full of humble-looking blushes, lipsticks, highlighters, and mascaras - all under $10 - on my desk. Now, I'm reevaluating things.
The inconspicuous bundle contained samples from Undone Beauty, a new brand that's available on Amazon. It's reminiscent of Brandless, a lifestyle line selling $3 beauty products that work just as well as items that cost three times as much. I only used the cruelty-free products for a weekend, but I'm already fending off friends who are trying to snatch the products from under my nose. Keep reading to discover your next (affordable) beauty obsession.
I Tried This 1 BB Cream and I Don't Have to Wear Foundation Anymore
While I do love makeup, I've always, always struggled finding a great foundation that fully covers my stubborn dark spots, which has made me despise trying products. While I have been treating my scars using serums every night, I still have to deal with them during the day, which has meant caking up my face with foundation. I quickly became frustrated with (a) how much time was getting wasted every morning applying it and (b) the aforementioned cakey feeling I get even when I don't apply that much product. Enter Guerlain's BB Cream.
I discovered this miracle product, which released back in 2016, while I visited the brand's spa in Dubai, and let me just say it felt like the universe was finally saying, "Hey! You deserve this, girl." I actually bought the product on a whim (I was currently on a facial high since my skin looked so great after getting one), but I'm so glad I did. Now, mornings are easier and getting ready takes half the time it used to. All I have to do is just apply a pump on the back of my hand and brush it onto my face like I would with foundation.
The product is super lightweight, which is great if you don't want to deal with that sticky feeling all day. Plus, it saves me from applying both sunscreen and highlighter because it literally makes my skin look like it's clear and glowing. If you're looking to ditch your foundation like I did, you can buy a tube of this goodness ahead.

Travel Within the USA Is Underrated - Here's Why You Should Do More of It
Here in the United States, our country is experiencing some divisive times. And yet, in times like these, it becomes ever more important to dig deep into the country many of us call home and reacquaint ourselves with the variety of cultures and experiences this nation has to offer. This realization prompted me to think about some of my own experiences with domestic travel. Given that there are regions I have barely scratched the surface of in this vast country, I also talked with someone of my most well-traveled friends about experiences they have had. Here are five reasons you should be traveling in the USA.
People Can't Stop Taking Photos of Disneyland's Cute Mickey and Minnie Soft-Serve Sundaes
Whenever I think about Disney, it's almost unavoidable that Mickey and Minnie Mouse come to mind. These animated characters are beloved, timeless, and an original staple of the theme parks. If you're a Mouseketeer at heart, you're going to love these adorable soft-serve sundaes at Disneyland.
During your next visit to the park, stop in for a visit at Clarabelle's in Toontown and grab a Mickey or Minnie Mouse sundae (or both!) for $8. Mickey's sundae comes with your choice of vanilla or chocolate swirl frozen yogurt, along with chocolate cream cookie ears, chocolate candies, and a bow tie, while Minnie's is the same but with a polka-dot bow. Judging by all the photos on Instagram, it appears this snack is pretty popular - and photo-friendly, too! See all our favorite snaps below and you'll certainly want to add this sweet treat to your Disney food bucket list.
The 1 Thing on My Bar Car That Has Transformed My Summer Cocktail Game
After a long day commuting in the Summer heat, the last thing I want to think about when I get home is doing anything too elaborate. While in the Winter I don't mind standing over my stove, cooking a big dinner, this time of year is all about simplicity - this goes for my drinks as well. Even though beer and wine are obviously staples in my house, sometimes my day isn't complete without a cocktail.
Instead of spending too much of my precious evening trying to figure out how to make a delicious drink, I've streamlined my bar cart by making homemade honey lavender simple syrup. This syrup is super simple to make and even easier to use. The richness of the honey adds a depth of flavor that's superior to traditional simple syrups, and the delicate floral scent of lavender makes even the simplest of cocktails stand out.
What's best about this simple syrup is that it works wonders in all kinds of beverages, not just cocktails. A simple splash into your morning latte will have you feeling extra fancy, even if you only got a couple hours of sleep. Here is a step-by-step guide to making your own syrup.

This Mom Is Warning Others After Her Daughter Died From Eating Chips Ahoy Cookies With Peanuts
Kellie Travers-Stafford, a grieving mother from Weston, FL, is determined to warn parents about the dangers of food allergies after her 15-year-old daughter, Alexi Ryann Stafford, died from accidentally eating a cookie with peanut butter chips in it. In a heartbreaking Facebook post, Kellie explained that she did everything in her power to keep Alexi's peanut butter allergy under control. However, a packaging mixup involving Chips Ahoy! cookies caused her daughter to die after ingesting just one.
"Our hearts are broken and we are still in shock. Our whole lives we dedicated to keeping our child safe from one ingredient: peanuts," wrote Kellie. "On Monday, June 25, our 15-year-old daughter, Alexi Ryann Stafford, while at a friends house, made a fatal choice. There was an open package of Chips Ahoy cookies, the top flap of the package was pulled back and the packaging was too similar to what we had previously deemed 'safe' [for] her."
As soon as Alexi ate the cookie, she started to have an allergic reaction.
"She ate one chewy Chips Ahoy [cookie] thinking it was safe because of the 'red' packaging, only to find out too late that there was an added ingredient . . . Reese peanut butter cups/chips," said Kellie. "She started feeling tingling in her mouth and came straight home."
But as soon as Alexi got home, her health took a turn for the worse while her mom watched helplessly, waiting for help to arrive.
"It's important to us to spread awareness so that this horrible mistake doesn't happen again."
"Her condition rapidly deteriorated. She went into anaphylactic shock, stopped breathing, and went unconscious," she explained. "We administered two Epipens while she was conscious and waited on paramedics for what felt like an eternity. She died within 1 & 1/2 hours of eating the cookie."
Looking at the containers in side-by-side photos, it's easy to see how the confusion happened. The packaging is essentially identical other than a small logo in the corner.
"As a mother who diligently taught her the ropes of what was OK to ingest and what was not, I feel lost and angry because she knew her limits and was aware of familiar packaging, she knew what 'safe' was," said Kellie. "A small added indication on the pulled-back flap on a familiar red package wasn't enough to call out to her that there was 'peanut product' in the cookies before it was too late."
Now, Kellie is doing everything in her power to ensure no other child makes the same deadly mistake her daughter did.
"I want to share our story with everyone because we want to spread awareness. The company has different colored packaging to indicate chunky, chewy, or regular but NO screaming warnings about such a fatal ingredient to many people," wrote Kellie. "Especially children. It's important to us to spread awareness so that this horrible mistake doesn't happen again."

Ali Fedotowsky Flaunts Her Honest Postpartum Body in a Bikini, and That Sound Is Booming Applause
Two months after welcoming her second child, a son named Riley Doran, Bachelor alum Ali Fedotowsky-Manno is getting real about her postpartum body, and that sound you hear is our booming applause. Through a partnership with Lilly & Lime Swimwear, Ali made the decision to bare all in a couple of adorable bikinis to fight the stigma of "bouncing back after baby" and to show her admiring followers that she's not as "perfect" as they think she is.
"I want you all to see me as I really am, and to know that I'm not perfect."
"I've gotten so many comments from people on my recent Instagram photos saying that they can't believe how much I bounced back to my prepregnancy body. Or someone will say something like 'I wish I looked that good after having a baby!'" she wrote on her blog. "And while I appreciate the positive comments, you guys are always so good to me, I keep trying to explain that I'm just good at picking out clothes that flatter my body and hide my tummy. And I've tried to assure many of you that I haven't completely bounced back and that my body has changed - a lot! But as much as I say that, I feel like it's hard to believe unless I show you guys. I want you all to see me as I really am, and to know that I'm not perfect and I struggle with my postpartum body just like many other women out there do."
And show off her body, she did, in a series of four photos that prove that what you see on social media isn't always "real" and to share that she's learning to appreciate her body just the way it is. "I bounced back pretty quickly after I gave birth to Molly. But things are different this time and I'm OK with that. I'm learning to love my body and embrace how it's changed. I hope I get back to my prepregnancy shape one day, but that may never happen. And if it doesn't, that's OK."
Check out the honest postpartum photos Ali shared - and what she had to say about them on her blog - ahead.

This Mom Breastfeeding as She Walks the Sports Illustrated Runway in a Bikini Screams "GIRL POWER!"
Model Mara Martin is no stranger to posing in beautiful swimsuits, but the gold bikini she recently sported may just be her most memorable yet. Sporting a stunning one-shoulder two-piece, Mara walked during the 2018 Sports Illustrated Swim Search show as a "Sweet 16 finalist" with her 5-month-old daughter breastfeeding in her arms, and to say people are obsessed is an understatement. Although the new mom is shocked to be making headlines "for something I do every day," the video footage of her strutting her stuff with Aria in tow has us screaming, "YAASSS, honey!"
Sports Illustrated posted the now-viral "GIRL POWER!" moment on its page just hours after Mara shared with her followers on Instagram that she made it into the group of 16 finalists. "The face you make when your mom makes it to the final 16 of the [Sports Illustrated] Swim Search!" Mara wrote alongside a photo of her and a smiley Aria. "I'm so, so, so thankful for the entire team at Sports Illustrated for picking me!"
The day after the show, Mara woke up to headlines much like the one above, praising her for her total power move in breastfeeding Aria while showing off the beautiful sparkly bikini at five months postpartum.
"Wow! WHAT A NIGHT! Words can't even describe how amazing I feel . . . I can't believe I am waking up to headlines with me and my daughter in them for doing something I do every day. It is truly so humbling and unreal to say the least," she wrote. "I'm so grateful to be able to share this message and hopefully normalize breastfeeding and also show others that women CAN DO IT ALL!"
"I'm so grateful to be able to share this message and hopefully normalize breastfeeding and also show others that women CAN DO IT ALL!"
The mom continues, noting that the reason she's so shocked at the headlines is that she doesn't feel she should be a headline, as there were more deserving women who walked as part of the Sweet 16 with their own incredible stories. "My story of being a mother and feeding her while walking is just that. . . . One woman is going to boot camp in two weeks to serve our country . . . one woman had a mastectomy and another is a cancer survivor, two-time paralympic gold medalist, as well as a mother herself. . . . Those are the stories that our world should be discussing!!!! Just thinking about all that was represented there."
Mara ended her post with a nod to Sports Illustrated for giving her and the other finalists this opportunity and for setting an amazing example for her young daughter.
"THANK YOU for letting all 16 of us be our true selves: strong, beautiful women!!! Because of you, my daughter is going to grow up in a better world, where she will always feel this way!!!!!! Lastly, to every single woman that rocked that runway with me. Be proud. I know I am of you! You all have inspired me in ways unimaginable. I love you all!!!"
This Man Renewed His Wedding Vows With His Wife After She Lost 17 Years' Worth of Memories
Once Jeff Hartung said "I do" to his wife Angela Sartin-Hartung in 2001 after they met in a Bible class at their local church in Tulsa, OK, he meant it when he said he'd stick by her side for better or for worse. So when Angela was struck by a car in New York City on Oct. 25, 2013, while she was walking across the street - causing her to lose 17 years' worth of memories - he knew his wife needed him more than ever.
He told POPSUGAR that the accident nearly cost Angela her life.
"Her head penetrated the windshield of the New York Police Department traffic vehicle before being thrown to the ground as the vehicle stopped," said Jeff. "Unconscious, bleeding profusely, unresponsive, and not breathing."
Thankfully, an ambulance was nearby when the accident occurred, and paramedics immediately began working on her before transporting her to the hospital.
"Angela's injuries were extensive, requiring life support," said Jeff. "The most significant injury was a traumatic brain injury (TBI). Her injuries were horrific, and the outlook was not good. She was in a coma for four weeks before waking and beginning the long and difficult recovery process."
"We had to start all over again: friendship, trust, affection, hope, faith, all the things which built the relationship the first time."
At that point, Jeff admits he just went into an "automatic" overdrive. He was determined to help Angela in any way he could by being her advocate while holding down a full-time job. As soon as Angela woke up from her coma, Jeff quickly realized that his wife had lost 17 years of her memories, including those of their wedding day.
"After she came out of the coma it became apparent how impacted she was as a result of her injuries," he explained. "There are many resulting long-term effects of the injuries sustained that day, however, the greatest effect has been the amnesia like loss of memory of the past 17 years."
Jeff quickly got to work teaching Angela about her life. He explained every detail - from the tragic news of her first husband passing away from illness to the fact that she had two stepchildren - to her, even though she was struggling to form sentences at the time.
"We had to start all over again: friendship, trust, affection, hope, faith," said Jeff, "all the things which built the relationship the first time. I was 100 percent responsible for making it all happen again as she just wasn't capable the few years following the accident."
After helping her grieve the loss of her first husband as well as her father who died a few years before the accident, Jeff and Angela started dating again. He showed her photos and videos and took her to the special places they used to frequent together.
And by all accounts, the couple really seemed to hit it off again. They recently renewed their wedding vows during a ceremony in Central Park.
"As for Jeff, he was by my side, walking it with me, covering me with love, supporting me, all with an ever-present, inexplicable patience," said Angela. "His commitment and dedication to our marriage, my physical and emotional care, our family, and rebuilding our relationship, has proven him, if nothing else, the best caregiver (and husband) I could ever ask for. I don't believe I would be where I am without him."
Cardi B's First Public Parenting Move Will Surprise You in the Best Way
Ever since giving birth to a baby girl named Kulture Kiari Cephus a few weeks ago, privacy has been a top priority for Cardi B and her husband, Offset. So much so that they've been turning down all the offers from media outlets to run Kulture's photo.
According to a report from TMZ, the new parents have been offered $100,000 or more for the first pictures of their daughter. So far, the pair have rejected every proposition in hopes of giving their newborn a little privacy.
So when exactly can we expect to catch a glimpse of little Kulture? Apparently, when she's 5 or 6 months old, say sources close to the family.

A New Study Confirms Dogs Can Pass Illness on to Their Pregnant Owners
Although there's absolutely nothing better than cuddling up next to your furry friend on the couch after a long day, pregnant women might want to be more careful, according to a study published in Emerging Infectious Diseases from Texas A&M University.
After analyzing several case studies, researchers found that the brucellosis infection - a bacterial disease that's usually spread by livestock such as goats, pigs, cattle, and sheep - can also be present in dogs that aren't spayed or neutered.
The dog-specific strain of the illness is called brucella canis, and people who get it often have flu-like symptoms. The bacteria can also "cause long-term or recurring symptoms, such as arthritis, swelling of the testicles, swelling of the heart, neurologic symptoms, and chronic fatigue" in humans, according to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
"Though brucellosis is a common cause of animal [miscarriages], it is also linked to fetal problems in women who are pregnant when they contract it."
"We don't really know how prevalent this disease is in the United States," Martha Hensel, the study's lead researcher and a veterinarian with Texas A&M University, told HealthDay News. "The information we have to draw conclusions on the public health risk is outdated, to say the least - something like 30 to 40 years old."
Researchers also want to point out that brucella canis is hard to get. A pregnant woman would have to come in contact with the dog's urine or reproductive organs in order to become infected. Obviously, vets and shelter workers would be at a greater risk for getting brucellosis, especially if their immune system is compromised.
"An average, healthy adult would probably not contract this disease unless they were exposed to a really high concentration of bacteria," said Martha.
Dr. Amesh Adalja, a senior scholar with the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, agreed that the brucellosis bacteria can cause pregnant women to have health problems.
"Though brucellosis is a common cause of animal [miscarriages], it is also linked to fetal problems in women who are pregnant when they contract it - though at a lesser degree than with other animal species," explained Dr. Adalja. "The diminished role is due to the lack of a specific compound produced in human placenta [erythritol] as well as anti-brucella activity in human amniotic fluid."
Pregnant women who suspect they've been exposed to brucellosis should schedule an appointment with their doctor to get tested. The CDC says that if the results come back positive, going on antibiotics is usually the best course of action.
"At this point, we don't know what the incidence in the United States is, and how many dogs are carrying this bacteria," explained Martha. "We would like to put that out there for clinicians to think about, in terms of the risk of transmission from dogs to people."
Joanna Gaines Keeps Gracing Us With New Photos of Crew, and OMG This Baby Is So Cute
Fans of power couple Chip and Joanna Gaines waited what felt like forever for their fifth child, who we knew was a baby boy, to be born. Finally, on June 23 - two and a half weeks before his due date - baby Crew made his entrance with a "C" name that broke the family's naming tradition. It's safe to say that the newborn already has as many, if not more, fans than his mom and dad, so it's lucky for all of us that Joanna has been sharing photos of her "cuddle bug" pretty regularly since he arrived. Read through to see all of the adorable photos of Crew so far (and don't miss the sweet photo of his four older siblings - Emmie Kay, 8, Duke, 9, Ella, 11, and Drake, 13 - at the hospital waiting for him to be born).
4-Year-Old Nearly Ruins Parents' Marriage When She Finds a "Bra" in Dad's Car
It's no secret that kids can put a strain on a marriage. Those early years of sleepless nights and short fuses aren't easy, but I didn't realize that those unassuming babies would eventually turn into toddlers who seem hell-bent on actually destroying their parents' relationship. My kid has exposed more white lies than I care to mention, and - although I should be well aware that she's an unreliable narrator - I often take her highly untrustworthy word over my husband's.
It seems I'm not alone in any of this, as one dad posted an exchange on Twitter that nearly ruined his marriage when his 4-year-old daughter apparently outed him for having a bra - that didn't belong to his wife - in his car.
Thankfully, the hilarious misunderstanding has a happy ending:
My 4-y/o daughter tried to jam me up today.
Kid: Mommy, why is your bra in daddy's car?
Me: What!?
The Mrs hit me wit a killer side eye. She ain't been in my car in weeks
Me: Ain't no bra in my car!!
Kid: Ya huh, cup thingie with straps

Once it was discovered that, no, he had not been framed, his reaction was 100 percent appropriate (because, ooooh boy, were we concerned for a minute there . . .):

Let this very relieved dad's tweet be a reminder to try your best not to trust your children.
After Her 3-Year-Old Got Trapped Inside a Running Washing Machine, Mom Shares Vital Warning
Lindsey McIver and her husband recently upgraded their laundry room with a "new and cool" washing machine after their old one crapped out, but the excitement over the newer model was short-lived, as the morning after it was installed - before the machine was ever used - Lindsey's 3-year-old got trapped inside the airtight machine . . . while it was running.
Awoken by the incoherent sobs of their 4-year-old son, Lindsey and her husband eventually realized that he was telling them his little sister Kloe was inside the new washing machine. Thankfully, Kloe is OK, but Lindsey didn't want to let this vulnerable parenting moment pass without warning others about front-loading machines and the dangers they can pose - even if you tell your curious kids to stay away from them as she did.
"By the time we reached the laundry room in the basement, my 3-year-old daughter Kloe was LOCKED inside the airtight washing machine," Lindsey wrote in a post to her Facebook alongside a photo of the new appliance. "It was tumbling and filling with water. She was screaming but you couldn't hear her. We were able to quickly stop it and unlock the door and get her out. Aside from a couple of small bumps on her head and wet clothes, she was fine."
Luckily for the McIvers, the "what ifs" were just that, as they were able to get Kloe out before the worst could happen. However, Lindsey, who says she's beating herself up over this accident, is choosing to be open and honest so that anyone with a front-loading washer and little kids in the house can learn from her mistake and know that there are steps they can take to ensure this never happens to them.
"I post this because I can honestly say we did not realize the danger of this machine. We are continually surprised at the new, inventive ways our kids come up with to try and die. And this was definitely a new one," she wrote. "I took this picture after we secured the door shut with a child safety lock. We also found a child lock feature on the settings that, as long as it is engaged, will not allow the washing machine to start. But it does not lock the door. We hadn't even used the machine yet so we hadn't looked at any of the settings. Also, it obviously took two curious kids to pull this off. I want to encourage anybody who has this type of front-loading washing machine and small children, or even grandkids who visit, to lock the door with a child safety lock and always keep the child lock setting on!"

This $14 Face Cream Is Amazon Prime Day's Top Trending Product on the ENTIRE Site
People freak out over the tech, fashion, and decor deals on Amazon Prime Day, but the most popular product this year might shock you. This Baebody Retinol Moisturizer ($14, originally $40) is the top trending item on sale. Seriously! Customers are adding it to their carts for the huge discount and the spectacular reviews it has received. A whopping 3,300 customers have reviewed the cream, and 70 percent of them give it five stars. That's impressive.
The active retinol in this formula helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and fade dark spots. It also includes hyaluronic acid, which moisturizes and plumps the skin. Just make sure to test a small area of your skin before use, since retinol is a strong ingredient that can cause burning. If used correctly, the results can be very satisfying.
"As a licensed master esthetician, I am always on the look out for new product for skin care," one buyer wrote. "When I found this one, I could not wait to try it. I am in my 40s and want to keep the signs of aging at bay. This cream is wonderful, the jar is air tight - very important to maintain potency. One pump was enough for face, the product went on super smooth. It has a very light, pleasant scent. It absorbed in my skin quickly with no greasy feel or stickiness and my skin feels silky-smooth after the application. I am very excited to see how long term use benefits my skin."
This sale ends in a few hours, so snag this cream ASAP!
With These Sol de Janeiro Products, You'll Feel Like a Model and Smell Like an Island
You've probably seen the vibrant yellow tub of Sol de Janiero's Brazilian Bum Bum Cream and wondered why you need yet another beauty product just for your rear end. I'm here to tell you that I was a fellow skeptic but have become a Bum Bum fan. Sol de Janiero makes products that really work, smell otherworldly, and transport me to a much more tropical destination than my home of New York City.
The combination of bodycare benefits, skin-smoothing ingredients, and incredible scent always makes me feel like I'm actually living a double life as a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, instead of a kind-of-pasty beauty writer sitting under florescent lights.
What's most important is that these items make me feel good. They smell good, feel good, and just make me darn happy. If you've been curious to try out the brand, read ahead for my top three picks.
I Despised My Greek Beauty Features - Until Something Clicked
Growing up in a large, full-bred Greek family, two things surrounded me: food and hair.
My mother cooked all of the well-known Greek goodies like dolmadas, spinach pie, and baklava. And the hair; that was everywhere, too. My three brothers rocked their wavy mullets in the '90s. Their unibrows stretched between their eyes, and by age 12, they were all regularly shaving their faces.
My mom always wore her thick, wavy locks down past her shoulders - a gift her ancestors bestowed upon her. She never, ever plucked her bushy eyebrows, either. Their natural shape showcased her dark, oval eyes. My mom was, and still is, a beauty. More importantly though, she is kind to herself by never wanting to be someone she's not.
When I was a teenager growing up in the 'burbs, the thin eyebrow look took over. "Mom, can I pluck my eyebrows?" I asked.
"Absolutely not!" she told me.
I listened then, but rebelled once I got to college. I tweezed those beautiful, bushy eyebrows until they were pencil-thin. And looking back at pictures, boy, did I look ridiculous. I let them grow back and have only wished they were thicker since.
Hoping to look more like the conventionally "beautiful" girls in my high school, I also asked to highlight and straighten my hair. Thankfully, my wise mother told me "no" again - that time I listened, keeping my dark, wavy hair.
"I wish I understood how incredibly kickass it is to be different."
The only thing that finally helped me learn to truly accept my Greek features was watching my mother embrace her heritage over many, many years. I watched her beam with confidence in any setting, once strutting into a Greek wedding and commanding attention from our entire family. She Greek-danced at the front of the line with her wavy long hair and natural eyebrows. I remember thinking, "Now that is true beauty."
So, today, I go for the natural look by letting my hair go wavy and letting my eyebrows do their thing (within reason). Thankfully, I had my mother to guide me to keep my hair, all of it, just how it was gifted to me.
I wish I could have told my younger self, "Who cares if kids make fun of your frizzy hair, it's a part of your culture!" I wish I understood how incredibly kickass it is to be different. Most importantly, I wish I would have known that to embrace my Greek heritage would be complimenting my ancestors, too. The desire to look unique is as old as democracy (which, don't forget, the Greeks invented), but it's vital to remember who we are and where we came from. I just so happen to come from a lineage of hairy but beautiful women - women who are strong, but who also may sport a unibrow.
Today, a mother to my own daughter, I'm proud of all of my hair now. It means that I am my mother's daughter, a Greek woman, who can cook a mean baklava.
Britney Spears's New Gender-Neutral Fragrance Has Everybody Talking
Britney Spears is adding to her scenterprise. The pop star recently announced that her 24th fragrance would be a gender-neutral scent called Prerogative, a likely reference to her 2004 cover of Bobby Brown's "My Prerogative." In a high-energy trailer for the fragrance, Spears dances in front of what appears to be a wall of CCTV screens while wearing head-to-toe latex. In her caption, Spears specifically describes Prerogative as a "fragrance for all."
Prerogative already seems to be taking off among her passionate fan base. Several fans have already been able to purchase the perfume - as well as a matching body mist - at Walmart, although it seems to be flying off shelves rather quickly. Though we won't know what Prerogative smells like until a full description is released by Spears's camp, one fan who purchased it said the scent is "on the sweeter side" and smells like vanilla.
The release of Prerogative comes shortly after the news that Spears has partnered with Epic Rights on a line of haircare products, as well as fashion apparel and exercise gear, that will tentatively launch Spring 2019. Ahead, watch two fast-paced teasers for the '90s icon's latest addition to her empire, and read a few ecstatic reactions from fans.

The 9 Best Texturizing Sprays That Will Give You Model-Off-Duty Hair
If you've always been hesitant to try a texturizing spray on your hair, now is the time to branch out. Summer is great time to experiment with styles without the rain and wind that comes with Winter. Consider the product a marriage between dry shampoo and hairspray - it's meant to revitalize and give your hair a little extra oompf if it's lacking body.
Texturizing spray can be used throughout the day: in the morning to create volume, as a midday pick-me-up to give life to flat hair and even to smell nice (depending on the brand you get, they usually have a perfume-like scent). Just spray it all over (not just at the roots), scrunch or fluff your hair to define it, and you're done. You won't believe how much of a difference it makes - the thickness is visibly noticeable. Take a look at our favorite texturizing sprays and try one for yourself.
