In the four plus years that I've owned a Clarisonic, I've never regretted plunking down over $200 for it. It's more than earned its keep, doing its gentle-exfoliating thing and drastically changing my basic wash-and-rinse - or sometimes makeup-wipe-and-fall-into-bed - routine from the moment I brought it home.
