Disney World Is Infinitely Better Than Disneyland, and Here's Why
When it comes to Disney Parks and Resorts, Walt Disney World has the upper hand over Disneyland. While I might be a little biased, as Walt Disney World is my home park and I've been an annual pass holder for more than 20 years, there really is something special about seeing Walt's vision come to life all over Orlando, Florida. Yes, Disneyland is the original and has a ton of nostalgia, and they even have better churro options, but there's just something special about Walt Disney World and seeing Walt's vision carried out in such an immersive way.
So, do you want to know why Walt Disney World is better than Disneyland? Read through to see.

Jillian Harris Dressed Up Her Entire Family as Alice in Wonderland and OMG, Her Dog!
Jillian Harris just knocked Halloween out of the park a month after welcoming her family's newest addition, little baby Annie, with a seriously awesome family costume. Dressed as characters from Alice in Wonderland the Harris family - Jillian, Justin, 2-year-old Leo, and 1-month-old Annie - has successfully made it so that I'd like to be adopted into their adorable brood. Even the family dog, Nacho Cilantro, got dressed up, and if I'm honest, he's the best damn one.
Check out the photos of their family costume below!

But some pet owners have kitties who are way more docile than mine, and these photos of them all dolled up for a night of trick-or-treating prove that fact.

13 Stores That Will Welcome Your Dog With Open Arms
When Reddit user terriblesubreddit shared a picture of their adorable puppy in a Home Depot cart with the message that the store is totally pet friendly, we got to wondering about what other major retailers are also pet friendly. There are the obvious answers - Petco and PetSmart - but surprisingly, there are several other stores that welcome your pets along with you, provided they are always under your control and as long as you clean up after them should they make any messes.
Here are a few of the retailers we found that allow dogs, but keep in mind it's always wise to call a store before you go to make sure it's OK. We have found that though some store policies allow dogs, specific store managers will not, and though some store policies prohibit dogs, certain store managers welcome them. Always good to err on the side of caution!
- Home Depot
- Lowe's
- Barnes & Noble
- Macy's
- Pottery Barn
- Bass Pro Shops
- Restoration Hardware
- Bloomingdale's
- Anthropologie
- Gap
- Nordstrom
- Lush Cosmetics
- Urban Outfitters
For the most part, these stores (among many smaller, local stores) are said to be dog friendly, but like we said before, we highly recommend calling each establishment first. Rules will also vary based on where you live and how your local culture is. When I lived in a small suburb of San Francisco, everyone took their dogs everywhere - including the grocery store - and it was never an issue. So make some calls, check out some stores, and let us know if there are any major stores we missed!
Normani's Nostalgic Shoot Totally Would Have Been Plastered on Our Walls in the '00s
If you haven't already heard her collaboration with Khalid, or any of her massively successful songs with Fifth Harmony, you'll soon know Normani. Following the dissembling of the girl group earlier this year, the 22-year-old singer - full name Normani Kordei Hamilton - has been pursuing a solo career. Now, she's on the digital cover of Paper as part of the magazine's ongoing Takeover series, which will spotlight five women in the music industry.
The glamorous editorial sees Normani in looks reminiscent of 2000s pop stars, like Mariah Carey and Destiny's Child, with high ponytails, vibrant eye shadow, and a lot of lip gloss. Our favorite makeup look, however, might be Normani's neon green eyeliner, which stands out as a modern trend in the otherwise nostalgic editorial.
Normani also opened up to the magazine about how she developed her self-confidence at a young age, as reportedly one of the three black students in her school. "When I went home [after school], my parents always made sure that they told me I was no different, and they told me I was just as powerful and just as beautiful," she said. "I would ask questions like, 'Why isn't my hair this texture? I want my hair straight.' But they always instilled in me to love myself for all that I am."
Now, she hopes to help others build confidence through representation. "I posted this one photo with my Afro, with my natural hair, and so many girls were like, 'Oh my God, I never liked my curls, but you make me build up the confidence to build a selfie.' All because of one post," Normani said. "Simple things like that go such a long way and make such an impact in how people perceive and see themselves."
Alice + Olivia Is Here to Make Easy Press-On Nails Fashun
Earlier this year, Alice + Olivia unveiled its Passport to Wonderland line - one that founder Stacey Bendet has described as being inspired by "women from different cities and cultures." Now, Bendet has woven that concept into six designs for Kiss Nails that will be a part of the brand's ImPRESS Press-On Manicure collection.
You'll find glitters, stripes, and more. "We created nail designs to go back to some of the neon colors and fun prints present in our clothing and accessories," Bendet said. She went on to say that she views fashion as a form of personal expression: "It's a woman's art, and I wanted the nail designs to allow a woman to express herself in the same way."
The designs will be available starting Nov. 1, and you can see them in full ahead, along with inspiration on how to style the fashion-forward nails.
I Used Chemical Peel Pads Every Day For a Week, and This Is What Happened
Much like the rest of the animals on planet Earth, the rapid change of temperature due to global warming has not been kind to my body or my skin. The sudden cold front has caused my complexion to break out in small bumps, leaving dry patches around my nose and tiny whiteheads all over my chin. After perusing the internet for a solution, I decided to try the Dr. Dennis Gross Skin Care Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peel ($88), which has earned a Sephora Community Seal for its positive reviews.
I have been using the two-step peel each day for the last week, starting with the Exfoliate and Smooth pad, which contains alpha hydroxy acid to slough away dead skin cells sitting at the surface, and following it with the Anti-Aging Neutralizer, which equalizes the active ingredient. Within two days, my skin was noticeably smoother and less splotchy. I was surprised that it never irritated my skin and worked so well I could leave several other steps in my complicated regimen in the dust.
Considering how clear my skin looks, I intend on cleaning out my medicine cabinet to make way for a permanent home for these miracle pads.

Gigi Hadid Adorably Asked Her Makeup Artist How She Did on Her Jack-o'-Lantern Face Paint
This Halloween, Gigi Hadid decided to let her makeup lead the way. The 23-year-old model said she decided against dressing up and instead tried her hand at some asymmetrical jack-o'-lantern face paint. Hadid also adorably tagged her makeup artist, Erin Parsons, and asked, "You proud of me?" She should be proud of herself, because the makeup does not look easy with all its jagged lines.
In prior years, Hadid has dressed up as Sandy from Grease, a Cub Scout, and Marvel comic book character the Black Cat. If you're looking for a last-minute costume, try this scary pumpkin face paint that closely resembles Hadid's spooky look.
Do Toners Really Work? We Consulted the Experts
With so many skincare products on the market, it's kind of impossible to keep track of all of them. Since I started really taking care of my skin, my skincare routine has expanded from just a drugstore cleanser and moisturizer duo to a massive regimen that includes everything from eye cream to essences. Toners have always been a tricky product for me because, until recently, I wasn't entirely sure what they did; it seemed like the word "toner" was just used to describe any liquid skincare product that wasn't a cleanser, moisturizer, or serum.
My confusion isn't unfounded. Dr. Sejal Shah, a clinical dermatologist and consultant for Beautyblender, told me, "Over the last few years, toners have undergone a metamorphosis. The older generation of toners were characterized by their extreme drying effect. But the newer generation of toners, influenced by Asian skincare routines, are formulated to rebalance the skin after cleansing, prepare it for products that are applied afterwards, and even address a variety of issues."
I frequently use K-beauty-influenced toners that help balance and hydrate my skin as part of my regular routine, and after speaking with a number of dermatologists and other skincare experts, I discovered that what I know as a toner is different than what they consider to be a "traditional" toner. They helped me understand the difference between the older and newer iterations of toners and also recommended some products that can help my skin. I know that I'll be a smarter skincare shopper moving forward because of their advice, and I'm excited to continue experimenting with different products as my regimen evolves.
I Challenged Myself to Wear the Cherry Eye Trend, and It's Surprisingly Versatile
After seeing the cherry eye trend all over Instagram, on the makeup shelves at my favorite store, and on celebrities on the red carpet, I was determined to find out how versatile the color scheme really is on my skin tone. I checked out the reviews on Sephora's online community to choose my pink and purple tools and broke out my brushes to see how many looks I could come up with. I ultimately picked the Urban Decay Naked Cherry Eyeshadow Palette ($49) after noticing it had earned a Sephora Community Seal, for its great reviews, along with a few other palettes (so we sound less biased) that piqued my interest.
Over the course of a few days, I managed to create three different cherry eye looks that I can't get enough of. I'm praying that this juicy trend is here to stay now that I'm a true devotee. Keep scrolling to check out my looks and find out which palettes you can purchase to accomplish the makeup looks.
Is the Huda Beauty New Nude Palette Worth the Price? Here's What We Really Think
The team behind Huda Beauty have become experts at keeping every new launch shrouded in mystery while creating mass-makeup hysteria. When founder Huda Kattan gave us a supersecret sneak peek of the "game-changing" palette, fans wondered what exactly the shades would look like. Then, the new eye shadow palette finally arrived at my desk, and I couldn't wait to test out the shimmer and glitter-packed formulas.
While the color scheme of the collection, which includes warm berry tones and brown hues, is pretty standard for this year - the cherry eye trend has been spotted on celebrities and makeup shelves alike - what's truly special about this palette are the four multireflective pearl shadows that appear marbleized in the pan. When you swipe these shades across your eyes, they catch the light differently as you move, giving off a multidimensional effect. There's also one pressed pearl shade in the palette, called Kinky, which has a slightly metallic finish.
The majority of the shades in the palette, however, are matte and vary in pigment payoff. Because some of the shades looked chalky on my skin, I'd recommend applying your eye shadow before the rest of your makeup so you can layer on the hues and clean up any fallout afterward. Lastly, the collection includes two pressed glitter options that can be layered on top of the other shadows. I recommend using a strong glitter primer if you want to wear these shades so they don't end up all over your cheeks. (The brand also included a cream base formula in the palette, likely for this purpose, which is super convenient for packing but didn't seem to apply as smoothly to my lids as I would have liked.)
Overall, if you're interested in getting in on the cherry eye shadow trend and are a huge fan of Kattan's, the Huda Beauty New Nudes Palette is worth the $65 investment for the one-of-a-kind multireflective pearl shades alone. Keep reading to see the swatches of every finish.

The Wellness Ingredient Your Skin Can't Get Enough Of
Honey isn't just a way to sweeten your tea, it's also a supremely hydrating ingredient that dry skin drinks up. If your skin is going through a transitional phase or just needs a little something sweet, you have to try one of these honey beauty products.
Kylie Jenner’s Halloween Look Proves It’s Her Dreamhouse, and We’re Just Living in It
Kylie Jenner pulled out all the stops for her Barbie Halloween costume this year - including multiple looks. She worked with makeup artist Ariel Tejada, hairstylist Tokyo Stylez, and stylist Jill Jacobs to channel Barbie.
For both looks, Jenner wore blond wigs, one long and crimped and the other styled in smooth, old Hollywood waves. She matched the pink and purple shades of her classic Barbie outfits (and the Barbie car, of course) with rosy and lilac eye shadows, plus an eye-catching, hot pink lip. Keep reading to see every angle of Kylie Jenner's memorable Barbie looks, then check out her and Stormi's matching butterfly costumes.

I Found a Concealer That Instantly Erases My Under-Eye Bags
When it comes to concealer, I've always had trouble finding a product that truly covers my under-eye bags. Most options crease, come right off, or just don't have enough coverage. Then, a makeup artist applied Lancôme Effacernes Waterproof Undereye Concealer ($31) to my face. I was in total awe. With a few taps of the product, those pesky bags instantly vanished.
The long-wear waterproof formula stays on from morning till night - I never have to reapply. Its silky consistency melts right into my skin for a natural look that isn't cakey or drying. Still not sold? Just check out the amazing reviews on Nordstrom. Of the 375 customers who reviewed the product, almost all of them give it a perfect five stars.
"To date the best full coverage concealer I've found," one buyer wrote. "Does not crease or get blotchy as the day goes on. I have terrible undereye circles and this covers them almost perfectly. I have tried just about every high-end and drugstore brand concealer and this is by far the best."
Consider your hunt over. Once you get your hands on this formula, you'll never want to try anything else again. I promise.

"Red Velvet" Hair Is the Newest Color Trend - and It's Deliciously Sweet
This holiday season, consider a delicious new hair color that's as sweet as this time of year: Red Velvet. The vivid hue that's taking over your social media feed is easy to pull off and totally worth the trip to the salon.
The term was coined by Garnier celebrity hair colorist Nikki Lee, who has transformed the hair of Lea Michele, Hilary Duff, and Selena Gomez. She described the hue as "a shiny Christmas present" and explained that it's a "one tone, single-process color," meaning there are no highlights involved. The result is a bright, multidimensional color that looks different depending on the lighting.
Ready to dive right in? Check out a few examples to take to the salon, ahead.
The Results Are In: These Are the Best Celebrity Halloween Beauty Looks of 2018
The best Halloween costumes aren't just a mishmash of glitter, fake blood, and patent leather (though these things certainly don't hurt). They bring it to the next level by being uninhibited and overall creative. Celebrities - who have some of the best makeup artists and hairstylists by their sides - are no strangers to this concept; and this year they've gone all in. From an elegantly styled updo inspired by a classic film to a dark wizard who cannot be named, ahead are some of this year's best Halloween beauty looks.
Jessica Simpson Is Unrecognizable in Her Danny DeVito Costume, and I Have Yet to Stop Laughing
Jessica Simpson brought the LOLs with her Halloween costume this year. The singer and footwear mogul teamed up with her husband, Eric Johnson, to re-create a movie poster from the 1988 buddy comedy Twins. Jessica was unrecognizable in a bald cap and suit as she struck the classic pose as Danny DeVito, while Eric sported a matching getup while channeling Arnold Schwarzenegger; in the film, the actors play fraternal twins who are separated at birth.
Eric and Jessica, who is pregnant with the couple's third child, are certainly not strangers to the funny costume game. Last year, they dressed as Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson, and back in 2011, Jessica announced her first pregnancy with a clever "mummy" costume. See more of the best celebrity costumes here!
The Conners Went All Out For Halloween - See Every Single One of Their Costumes!
The Conners went all out for Halloween, and we can't get enough of their costumes.
In the festive episode, "There Won't Be Blood," the family ups the ante with their spooky ensembles in hopes of winning a local Instagram contest. Aunt Jackie opts for a Lanford High cheerleader's uniform with intestines hanging out, Dan goes as Napoleon Blown Apart (the famous war leader with his organs exposed), DJ as a big game hunter being attacked by lions, Harris as Lizzie "Boredom," and Mary as Scary J. Blige. Our favorite is, obviously, Becky's take on Sharknade O'Connor, which sees her wearing a bald cap and surrounded by a tornado of sharks.
Of course the holiday, which was the late Roseanne's favorite, doesn't go off completely without a hitch; young Mark is told that his Fortnite-themed costume for the school carnival is banned since it's considered violent or offensive. Instead he whips up a colorful ode to Frida Kahlo, but that also gets a nope from the Principal - he decides the Kahlo costume is culturally insensitive since Mark is not Hispanic, prompting the sitcom to dig into how far is too far in terms of "PC culture."
The episode ends with the Halloween bash at 714 Delaware Street, with guest star Matthew Broderick playing Peter, a new love interest for Aunt Jackie. Check out all the gang's Halloween looks ahead!
Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. Look Like They've Always Wanted to Be Tenenbaums
Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. are really committed to the Halloween look. The couple, who celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary last month, showed off not one but two pop culture costumes this spooky season.
First, the power duo rocked a matching Harley Quinn/Joker couples costume, and on Oct. 31, they gave off major Wes Anderson vibes as Richie and Margot Tenenbaum. That's the kind of dedication to the holiday we like to see! While these are two wildly different types of costume, Freddie and Sarah totally owned both. Check out a snap of their dramatic Tenenbaum outfits above, then keep scrolling to see their wickedly fun comic-book-inspired looks.
The Stranger Things Kids Are Turning Us Upside Down With Their Halloween Costumes
The cast that spends Halloween together, stays together - that's how the saying goes, right? The Stranger Things kids got all decked out in a variety of awesome costumes for the spooky season, and we're turning upside down for Noah Schnapp's in particular.
The hit Netflix show's stars Noah, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, Sadie Sink, and Millie Bobby Brown teamed up to celebrate the holiday together. While Gaten, Sadie, and Millie grouped up for a Star Wars-themed look and Caleb gave off Rastafarian vibes, it was Noah's imitation of Millie's character Eleven that really took the cake. We've seen our fair share of great Stranger Things costumes over the past couple of years, but there's something especially awesome about Noah choosing a look from his own series. His cute friendship with Millie only makes his costume choice that much sweeter!
Justin Timberlake's Family Costume Will Have You Screaming, "Batman to the Rescue!"
It wouldn't be Halloween without an epic costume from Justin Timberlake's family, and they totally came through this year. This season, Justin, Jessica Biel, and their 3-year-old son Silas channeled Robin, Harley Quinn, and Batman, respectively - but with a twist! Instead of the usual getups we're used to seeing everywhere, the trio opted for the Lego version, and they totally crushed it! "Out here fighting crime in these streets," Justin wrote on Instagram. However, if we had to choose, we'd say Silas's costume is our favorite!

Katie Holmes Steps Out With a Shiny New Diamond Ring - Is She Engaged?
Hold up - are Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx engaged? In these exclusive photos, the 39-year-old actress was seen wearing a diamond ring on her left hand while hanging out with her The Secret costar, Jerry O'Connell, in New Orleans on Tuesday. Katie appeared to be in good spirits as she flashed a few smiles and chatted with Jerry during a coffee stop. Later that evening, Katie switched up her look and met up with her 50-year-old beau for some shopping at Michaels. Jamie talked on the phone while Katie shopped around - perhaps he was sharing the exciting news with his friends?
Katie and Jamie have been quietly dating since 2013, and it wasn't until September 2016 that the pair finally confirmed their romance with a PDA-filled beach date in Malibu, CA. Katie and Jamie still have yet to address the engagement speculation, but according to Us Weekly, things are pretty serious. "Their relationship works because of the love, compassion, trust and support they have for each other," a source previously told the outlet. "They confide in and rely on each other pretty heavily. They're definitely very serious." So, will we be hearing wedding bells soon for Katie and Jamie? Guess we'll just have to wait and see.
After 25 Years, Sarah Jessica Parker Reveals Her Favorite Part of Filming Hocus Pocus
Sarah Jessica Parker is most well-known for Sex and the City, but long before she stepped into Carrie Bradshaw's iconic Manolos, she was busy sucking the life out of children with Bette Midler and Kathy Najimy in a little film called Hocus Pocus.
The 1993 movie has since become a beloved cult hit, especially around Halloween. While sitting down with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday night, Parker took a second to reflect on the spooky holiday - she said she "loved" Halloween as a kid and frequently rocked incredible homemade costumes courtesy of her talented mother (a lion was her personal favorite) - as well as the 25th anniversary of Hocus Pocus.
"I don't have a lot of memories of [Hocus Pocus]," she laughed. "I remember the filming of it, I just don't remember what the movie is about as much. I've only seen it [a few times] . . . apparently my character is not very bright. She's not very bright. She can fly and sing, and I think I liked to kill children."
Parker went on to note that of all the scenes in the film, her favorite parts were anytime her character, Sarah Sanderson, got to fly. "I liked making the movie, and I loved flying," she told the late night host. "It was old-fashioned wires and harnesses and picks and axles . . . it was marvelous. They'd call cut, or maybe they'd go to lunch or change the lens, and I would just stay up there! I realized that the costume, as you might have noted, is 17th century, so I could fit an entire New York Times up the back of the corset, and I found that the harness was comfortable. So I'd just sit up there and read the Times."
Personally we can't get enough of the "I Put a Spell on You" performance, but flying on a broomstick is admittedly pretty cool. Read through Parker's best moments in the movie ahead, then check out where you can watch Hocus Pocus this Halloween season!
Netflix Turned The Kissing Booth Into a Horror Movie, and Dear God, It's So Creepy
Netflix's The Kissing Booth delighted viewers over the Summer when it proved to be one of the best bad movies the streaming service had ever released (A Christmas Prince is stiff competition, after all). But now, in honor of Halloween, Netflix decided to take the storyline from so-bad-it's-scary to just plain scary with a creepy new trailer. Instead of a love story between Elle (Joey King) and Noah (Jacob Elordi), The Kissing Booth now sees the couple facing a threat from Noah's younger brother, Lee (Joel Courtney), who seems dead set on tearing them apart (metaphorically, but also maybe literally). Check it out, if you dare!
The Today Show's Halloween Costumes Will Give You a Major Dose of '80s Nostalgia
When it comes to Halloween costumes, The Today Show does not mess around. Last year, the TV hosts dressed up as some of the biggest names in country music, and this season, they took us all the way back to the '80s. Savannah Guthrie transformed into Cyndi Lauper, while Hoda Kotb channeled her inner Elton John. Al Roker and Dylan Dreyer gave us a major dose of nostalgia as Marty McFly and Doc Brown from Back to the Future, and Craig Melvin paid homage to Coming to America's Prince Akeem. But that's not all! Kathie Lee Gifford went as Madonna, Willie Geist was Ferris Bueller from Ferris Bueller's Day Off - parade float and all - Sheinelle Jones was Tina Turner, and Jenna Bush Hager and Peter Alexander went as Top Gun characters. And we can't forget Carson Daly as Bruce Springsteen. Which costume is your favorite?
Kylie Jenner's Barbie Costume Isn't an Out of the Box Idea, but It Is Scary Spot On
Kylie Jenner is not turning down the sex appeal for her first Halloween since giving birth to daughter Stormi. The 21-year-old reality TV star and makeup mogul previously wore matching butterfly costumes with her baby girl, but she's also now shared pictures of her eerily spot-on Barbie costume. "Life in plastic, it's fantastic," Kylie wrote on Instagram quoting the 1997 Aqua song.
In the pictures shot by Greg Swales, Kylie poses in a life-size Barbie box while wearing a pink asymmetrical bodysuit, platform heels, and, of course, a blond wig. Being that Barbie dolls can come with several outfits, Kylie posed in a second outfit and wrote, "She's got fits." The costume is also reminiscent of Beyoncé's 2016 costume, in which she also posed in a box and JAY-Z joined her as Ken.
Kylie previously made headlines when she re-created Christina Aguilera's 2002 "Dirrty" music video look for Halloween in 2016. The spot-on costume gained the pop star's approval, who wrote on Twitter, "Get it girrrl!!!" Ahead, see pictures of Kylie's classic costume this year.
Jennifer Garner Is Giving You a High School Theater Production AND a Salsa Recipe This Halloween
Jennifer Garner is busy, you guys. She just doesn't have time to dress up for Halloween, recite Macbeth, and make salsa from scratch, so she put her multitasking mom skills to work on Wednesday with a wickedly hilarious Instagram video. In the clip, Jennifer giggles her way through a pretty impressive reading of the "Song of the Witches" from the classic Shakespeare play while also putting together a bowl of her tomatillo salsa; from her Maleficent-inspired witch makeup to her spooky storytelling voice, it's enough to make you want to show up at her house with your own bag of tortilla chips. Oh, and in case you were strapped for Halloween party snacks, Jennifer included her salsa recipe in her caption, with the last step being, "Cast a spell. Yum." Watch for yourself now, then check out 50 more reasons to follow Jennifer Garner on Instagram.
Keira Knightley Has No Idea How Love Actually Ends, and It’s (Actually) Hilarious
Before Keira Knightley dedicated herself to starring exclusively - and excellently - in period films, the British actress appeared in a little movie called Love Actually. The 2003 rom-com follows a group of interconnected people through London over the holidays, checking in with them and their various struggles and triumphs with romance. It's since gone on to become a Christmas favorite, even spawning a "minisequel" last year. But you know who isn't an ardent fan of the film? Keira herself, who has apparently only seen it once (to be fair, I personally would rather fling myself off the nearest bridge than hear the sound of my own voice, so this seems understandable).
When she and Nutcracker and the Four Realms costar Mackenzie Foy recently down with Wired for one of their autocomplete interviews, she revealed she has no recollection of how the film ends, or who her character ends up with, which I find hilarious.
"Oh, I don't remember! Who do I end up with in Love Actually?" she stage whispers with a horrified expression. "I'm with my husband, aren't I? Aren't I with Chiwetel Ejiofor? Yeah? I've only seen it once, and it was a really long time ago. Am I? I don't go off with Andrew Lincoln?"
She did happen to recall where her character's home in the film was, however, immediately telling the camera that it's located in London's Notting Hill neighborhood. In case you need a refresher - or in case you're reading this, Keira - let's take a quick, festive walk down memory lane to break down who her character truly does end up with.
16 Moments From the Tower of Terror Movie That Sent Your Happiness Plummeting to the Basement
A lot of people know Tower of Terror as one of Disney's most iconic rides (RIP to the Disneyland one), but the creepy story behind it is what really makes us want to scream. The ride was originally based off of numerous episodes of The Twilight Zone, and Disney stayed pretty true to the tale when they decided to make the movie in 1997. The story follows Buzzy Crocker (Steve Guttenberg), an out-of-work newspaper editor whose stories attract the attention of an old woman named Abigail Gregory. Abigail claims that she witnessed an incident at the Hollywood Tower Hotel in 1939 when five guests - singer Carolyn Crosson, her boyfriend Gilbert London, child actress Sally Shine, her nanny Emeline Partridge, and bellhop Dewey Todd - were killed when the elevator they were riding in while on their way to a party at the hotel's Tip Top Club plummeted to the basement.
Abigail claims that Emeline orchestrated the entire thing because she was fed up with Sally's spoiled attitude, but her plan backfired when they became trapped inside the hotel as ghosts. Abigail said the "spell" can be broken once the elevator is fixed and items belonging to the dead can be found. Buzzy decides to try and solve the mystery with his niece, Anna (Kirsten Dunst), but they quickly realize that Abigail is actually Sally's sister, and that she was the one behind the deaths because she was jealous of Sally's booming career in Hollywood. Sally and Abigail are then reunited, and Sally reveals that the party at the Tip Top Club was actually a surprise party for Abigail. Sally apologizes to her sister for never making it to the party, and the two make up before they finally reach the Tip Top Club and all the trapped souls (plus Abigail) finally depart for heaven.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: Meet the Actor Behind Everyone's Favorite Warlock
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has only just premiered, and it's already a huge hit with fans. Whether viewers were drawn from the show's sister series, Riverdale, or just interested in meeting the next generation of Sabrina the Teenage Witch, they obviously loved what they saw. It's understandable; Chilling Adventures has the perfect soundtrack, bewitching wardrobes, rebel-rousing feminist undertones, and a dazzling cast of characters. But there's one character who managed to stand out in a major way: Ambrose Spellman, Sabrina's cousin from England who is the most relatable warlock of them all.
To say that Ambrose has become a fan favorite would be an understatement. Described as "witty, puckish and pan-sexual," the warlock can been seen throughout the series sipping on tea, lounging on any horizontal surface, and offering wisdom for the inexperienced blonde witch when she sorely needs it. Though his story takes a bit of a turn towards the end of the season and he winds up essentially trapped at the Academy of Unseen Arts by his beau Luke, Ambrose is arguably the most clear-headed of the Spellmans and often serves as the voice of reason when Sabrina finds herself spiraling out of control (though sometimes she doesn't listen to him . . . *cough* Tommy *cough*).
So who is the man behind our favorite English warlock? The smooth-tongued warlock is played by actor Chance Perdomo. Chilling Adventures is the UK native's first American role, but he has been seen in a few shorts, guest starred on a couple of TV series, and played a pivotal role in Killed by My Debt, a BBC Three drama based on the story of British teenager Jerome Rogers.
In Chilling Adventures Perdomo brings depth to a character that could have easily been a caricature. Rather than using Ambrose's pansexuality or otherness to define the character, the show allows Ambrose's actions stand on their own with only passing mentions of his orientation. "It's just part of a multifaceted individual," he said in an interview with Bustle. And it definitely shows. While Ambrose engages in a few sexual scenes with both men and women, his story doesn't revolve around his love life and it isn't the only interesting thing about him. Which was all done with the purpose of making him the beautifully complex warlock he is.
"These kinds of narratives are narratives we haven't seen explored in depth before, on TV especially," Perdomo added. "Ambrose is pansexual and an ethnic minority and he's a very old soul in a young man's body, like that's not your typical shirtless white man with a six-pack running in the jungle saving a damsel in distress story."
While we still have so much to learn about Ambrose and how his past will affect his future at the Academy of the Unseen Arts, there's no denying that the character has struck a chord with Chilling Adventures watchers. It's safe to say that Perdomo's Ambrose has put a spell on us all! Keep reading to see exactly how he's become everyone's favorite warlock.
Nicole Kidman Reveals Her Daughters Make an Appearance on Big Little Lies Season 2
Nicole Kidman is revealing a big little detail about the upcoming season of her HBO show, Big Little Lies. While fans were thrilled to find out Meryl Streep would join the star-studded cast as the late Perri's mother, who comes to live with Kidman's character Celeste and her twin sons, she definitely isn't the only famous addition to the cast. During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Kidman let it slip that her and Keith Urban's two daughters "were extras" in the highly anticipated second season of the show.
Kidman and Urban have two daughters, 10-year-old Sunday Rose and 8-year-old Faith Margaret. We're not sure what the girls' roles are in the show, but we have a feeling they'd be the perfect classmates for Kidman's onscreen sons, Max and Josh. Watch Kidman gush over her daughters in the clip above, and then see photos from her appearance on the show ahead.
