Daisy Ridley and John Boyega Dish on Their Hardcore, Real-Life Jedi Training
Daisy Ridley and John Boyega might have made wielding a lightsaber in Star Wars: The Force Awakens look easy, but it turns out their real-life Jedi training was no walk in the park. In an exclusive clip from Yahoo Movies, Ridley and Boyega refer to their extreme, three-month-long lightsaber training regimen for the movie as "fun" and "wicked" and dished on what it was like to face off against Adam Driver as Kylo Ren. "I remember we were on set, Adam's in character, and I felt the added weight of the saber sometimes when he would get so intense," Boyega said. The clip above will be included with other bonus video content when the DVD is released on April 5, but in the meantime, watch the emotional audition that landed Ridley the role of Rey.
