Beauty Supply,beauty magazine,beautiful homes,beautiful skin: Hailey Baldwin Convinced Justin Bieber to Get Cornrows
If you've ever gone on a trip to the Caribbean, there's a good possibility you've tested out cornrow braids to get into the island vibe (and consequently suffered from a sunburned scalp). On his steamy tropical getaway with Hailey Baldwin, Justin Bieber got his famous strands twisted into the iconic plaits.
Last year, actress Amandla Stenberg famously discussed the cultural appropriation of cornrows, explaining the controversy of white celebrities wearing the style. It seems that Justin may be aware of this hot topic, because he blames Hailey for the style. "Hailey made me get corn rows like an absolute douche bag," he declared in his caption. (What do ü mean, Justin? Who is the douche bag here?) "These will be off tomorrow, trust me." He is seen standing next to Hailey, who is wearing taut french braid pigtails.
Whether Justin ends up keeping his new look remains to be seen, but we'll admit we prefer his mane long and floppy. We'll report back with any changes to his style!
